Address At Non-Aligned Conference in Tehran a “Breath of Fresh Air”

In Tehran, 120 nations got together, risking car bomb retaliation and the scorn of Mitt Romney and Sheldon Adelson to discuss why they think the UN is a cheap con and America and Israel are “full of it.” The numbers of nations no longer willing to “kiss butt” is a smackdown for Israel more than America.
It is also a total “smackdown” for the UN, the pretend organization where 5 nations have total veto power over any real action.
There are 7 videos here, 34 minutes of translated speech, something I expect about one in 20 readers to look at. I don’t blame you, I hate seeing videos also. However there is a reason for me to put this here. If you want to understand the UN, the US and Israel and who and what Iran is, it is explained in plain language. It just takes a half hour. About 7 minutes of it involves the rights of Palestinians. There has been so much propaganda out there, trying to save them seems hopeless to many of us. Billions have been spent so we would give up, no accident there.
For members of our military and intelligence services, the answer is simple, right out of the comic strip “Pogo”: “We have met the enemy and he is us.” No one remembers when Americans started vilifying any potential adversary, almost always tied to profiteering or some business interest, in order to coax volunteers to be slaughtered as General Smedley Butler, twice CMOH winner would say, as “gangsters for Wall Street.” We tell ourselves of “honorable service” and forget we killed “militants” who were farmers the day before, enemies that were more “freedom fighter” than we would ever want to admit.
For Americans, how do you listen? Look at how he is dressed, the beard, the room full of dark skinned foreigners. Were any of them at the Republican National Convention in Tampa, would the crowd be throwing them nuts saying “this is how we feed the animals?” The message in the video, that non-aligned nations are finished with the corrupt UN. There is clear agreement on that. Whether they buy everything said, that remains to be seen.
If you want to know what is wrong with America, the answer is simple. 120 nations sit here that should be buying American made cars and trucks, American machinery and electronics but, instead, they are loading up on arms, American some, Israeli and Chinese, Russian mostly. The system of cooperation and peace that would give jobs to millions of Americans was systematically destroyed when America’s economy was hijacked during the Reagan administration, the man who decided wealth would “trickle down” and that we didn’t need factories. We were going to flip burgers and count phony money. Reaganonmics.
34 minutes, talk about “Zionism,” talk many of us know valid but a term that controlled news has transformed from a system as evil as communism to a mythical biblical concept that, when examined, has nothing “Jewish” about it. Zionism is a political con. A definition; “Starting wars, getting others to die and you make all the money.”
What is the lesson? Iran doesn’t stand alone, Israel does, abandoned even by American Jews. That can change and should and the formula for it is being offered. Look on what is suggested, the referendum as a beginning of negotiations. Without justice there will be eternal war. If Israel wants to fight it, let us correct our falsified and propagandized history first and then let properly informed and educated Americans of all faiths including “none of the above” make the decisions.
The issue should be humanity for all. Today, the religious conflicts of the Middle East, not confined to just Jews and Muslims, it goes deeper, it goes back centuries, all need to be redressed. I have issues about Christians and their rights, issues about the Kurds, about the Armenians, there is a thousand years or more that has to be redressed, “de-propagandized” and replaced with peace and understanding.
Wars must end and those who sell them need to be punished, isolated from mankind like an incurable disease.

AS the Pacific Islands Forum moves to soften its stance on Fiji’s military regime, the pariah state has inked diplomatic ties with North Korea and Iran.
Foreign Affairs Minister Inoke Kubuabola, who signed the agreement with Iran on the margins on the Non-Aligned Movement Summit in Tehran, said Fiji has an “open door” foreign policy.
It wanted “to move away from being overly reliant on our traditional bilateral partners”, he said.
The agreements have also been made amid signs of a thaw in relations with Australia and New Zealand.
Tehran and Pyongyang are subject to international sanctions over their nuclear activities and all three governments share a deep hostility towards the US.
At the forum in Rarotonga on Thursday (Cook Islands time), a communique was issued to media, which said the leaders noted progress in Fiji to register voters and establish a constitutional commission, along with its assurances there will be freedom of speech and of the media when it holds promised elections in 2014.
…Fiji has been suspended from the Commonwealth and the Pacific Island Forum since military strongman Voreqe Bainimarma seized power in 2006, and sanctions followed.
“Fiji, as you would expect have gone out of their way to promote relationships with other places and say ‘hey if our old friends don’t like us you friends will have us’ and that’s a phase we’ll have to go through,” New Zealand Foreign Minister Murray McCully said.
“It doesn’t change the fact that we should all be working to try and get our own relationship in this region back into a better space.”
The Australian newspaper is pure unadulterated Murdoch bullshit and not to be taken as anything but.
Fiji became a pariah when it tried to wrest its country back from the parasitical Indian minority and was then punished by the gutless Australian and New Zealand Govts, who couldn’t bear to think that their tame ‘fuzzi wuzzis’ might dare to take charge of their own country.
It is mainly the Chinese who are in Fiji from what I have heard, this is the most pressing reason why, I expect, Clinton appeared at the forum. But it’s easier to blame the usual ‘evil’ suspects for a need to increase US military presence in the region rather than risk offending the Chinese.
I may well be wrong but these are my observations.

Later on, she (Clinton) spoke at the Post-Forum dialogue. She was one of the first people invited to address all the delegations there and interestingly enough, before the Chinese Vice Minister who was heading the Chinese delegation could speak, we were all hurded out, we were all told to leave, that the Chairman had made a mistake and that we shouldn’t have been there. We were allowed to film and listen to Mrs. Clinton said, but we weren’t allowed to stay in to see what the Chinese Vice Minister said.
As you said Geraldine, she said the Pacific is big enough for all of us, but what I found very interesting is there was a function a little bit later in the day at Tamarind House and what happened there was Hillary Clinton fronted up with the Pacific Commander of the United States Military, Rear-Admiral Locklear, and he said that it was not only the first time a Secretary of State had been to a Forum meeting, but it was the first time the Pacific Commander of the US had been there. He even said it was unusual for them both to appear on the same stage together.

The jury is still out on Mohamed Morsi for mine!
The Egyptian Spring has not resulted in the Brotherhood response to bring change in support of Palestine as anticipated. Instead Mohamed Morsi has criticized the Syrian regime to bring about change in Syria.
When trying to make sense of the Sinai attack on an Egyptian Army outpost (Israel’s dna all over it), it was clearly orchestrated to remove the last vestiges of military power from Egyptian politics, leaving Morsi clearly in control.
So who is Morsi and what does he stand for?
I have always doubted the propaganda and general diatribe about modern technology bringing together the people and means to topple governments in the Arab Spring. The term Arab Spring was around before any uprising actually started. It has not worked so conveniently in Syria ( where the regime has the minority of support) when Syria has veto power back-up.
Not one new regime has been critical of Israel’s illegal occupation of Palestine.
So Morsi turns up at the NAC and criticizes Assad and Syria in direct opposition to the hosts Iran with no mention of the illegal Palestinian occupation. He reeks of being a stooge to Zionist USA. Thankfully Iran had the temerity to tell it as it is and won the support of most attending NA nations.

It looks like we are on the same mental waive length again. I am not an amateur psychologist but things kept hitting me like a badly tuned piano. During th convention I began to note something I noticed during Reagan early dementia no one knew about. During the final day before th speech it got worse. He moved hesitantly on the stage. The speech was pure Obama in the plan then he announced “but I can deliver it takes leadership Obama does not have” He did not really criticized Obama left that to Ryan. It became clear he was conflicted . He may be exhausted and tired of the role e played designed word by word from the day he came under the Neo Con umbrella, a figure head that sold his principles for power. Perhap he though like Reagan ,when I get in I take over. Reagan could pull it off but times have changed. But Romney managed a victory that my be more important to him and that is to place Mormonism to be accepted as all major religions in this country. Obama went down the same road with the far left. JFK fought take over and screed on tv ‘I AM A PRISONER HERE” Ike made it to the end then told us who they were. It took us a long time to believe it.
I worked for Reagan, had several friends that worked for him, 2 with very regular contact. The view they give now are confused…as to what he knew or how well he functioned.

The 120 taking the lead on peace is striking and appreciated. On the other, some balance, Reagan did his thing for the cabal just as every president has including Obama. Iran being elected head of NAM was great timing – the media that supports Israel will have to sit and stay quiet for the next three years. Also Putin will most likely stand up for Russia and its interests so he is most likely the one that the US media is now going to put under attack. Apparently Mitt Romney is already targeting Russia with nasty comments. This all sounds good because I was getting bored with the lie about the US and Israel going to war with Iran because it was obviously never going to happen.
Now we all just need to realise that the war in Afghanistan is another Vietnam like quagmire and get our militaries out of there.
The upside of the US being bankrupt and expecting slow economic growth for the next decade is that it won’t be able to start any more unnecessary wars for another generation. The world is going to be very different in 20 years time, the US dollar is not likely to be the currency for trade the way it is today.
When I would talk about things like this 5 years ago while Shrub was still in office, I can’t tell you how many times I heard the “if you don’t like it why don’t you leave” screed. Already a few minutes in to this video series, I am struck by the fact that you would never see something like this in Israel, selfish self-absorbed assholes that they are. Neither would we see something like this in US of the early 21st C. since we abdicated everything we once stood for. 120 nations got together for this, wow. Just look at the Heads of State who are there; they didn’t just send attaches or mid-level diplomats.
