The Obama administration is taking significant risks in sitting on recent negotiations with Iran that could bring an end to American sanctions on Iran’s central bank and bring about a lifting of current UN sanctions by spring 2013.
In secret negotiations confirmed by official sources in the EU, the US has received assurances that nuclear enrichment in Iran will be curtailed until an agreement can be reached that is acceptable to Israel and the Netanyahu government.
Privately, all parties admit that this is a “win-win” situation with Netanyahu looking “statesmanlike” while, if all parties agree to time their actions in accordance with the Israeli and American election cycles, the issue of Iran can be put away.
With deteriorization in Afghanistan, increased Russian influence in Iraq and Pakistan and terrorism spreading across Central Africa, the potential gain from confrontations with Iran are negligible.
Iran has bolstered its international standing through its leadership position with the Non-Aligned Movement, it’s new alliance with Azerbaijan, supplanting Israel there, the new government in Georgia and the recent visit by Iran’s foreign minister to Iraq.
Conversely, Iran’s media outlets to the west have been blocked through a combination of Israeli influence and hacking of satellite channels, Lebanon’s Shiite media similarly silenced and relative control of all mainstream world media has been achieved in a matter of days.
Earlier today, a car bomb in Beirut killed nearly 80, in what is believed the first stage of a conflict to isolate Hezbollah and place additional pressure on Syria.
Also, from Syria, come reports of advanced shoulder mounted air defense equipment being distributed to rebel armies, assuring the continuance of that conflict for months to come.
What is at risk is a matter of timing. This will not be the first time Iran has become a deciding vote in an American presidential election.
In 1980, vice presidential candidate George H.W. Bush flew to Paris to meet with Iranian officials to hold off settlement of the Carter era hostage crisis.
Bush promised Iran advanced US weapons including thousands of TOW missiles, many of which were used in Lebanon against Israel. The missiles used against Israel were actually shipped through Israel by Israel.
Similarly, as part of the deal, profits were invested in setting up narcotics pipelines into the US under the guise of arming “anti-communist” forces in Central America, the foundation of the Romney/Bain and Bush “mega-fortunes.”

Iran has been a nuclear nation for several years now without any of the so-called effects complained about by Israel, an entity that violates every single aspect of its own complaint to the IAEA via various proxies moved by lobbies exercising undue influence in host nations and other media, government and finance apparatuses. As far as the Iranian government is concerned domestically, they have achieved the progress they set out as objectives, mastering nuclear technology and the cycle. This can never be bombed away: Iran will always be one step away from creating a nuclear weapon. No Jews have died as a result, but instead, lies fabricated by Israel have given way to dangerously damaging the Iranian people and forcing a country like ours, premised on free markets, to suddenly sanction a perfectly functioning country that poses no threat to our interests. The possession of nuclear weapons is of obsolete purpose to modern entrants into the club– even Israel et. al. must utilize so-called “tactical” nukes instead of their bigger complements.
Iranian reconciliation with America does not mean Israeli neutrality. Iran’s stance on Israel is that the Zionist project is in its final death throes and that a unified Palestinian state will emerge as a natural result. Thus, while Israel aggressively advances against Iran, Iran’s only necessary strategy is to bat away the annoyances and never let Israel get what it really wants — i.e., to ignore the noise while Israel cannot do the same about the Palestinians that have defied odds (massive human loss and suffering caused and covered up by Israel) for 64 years and emerged the demographic victors.
Iran can stand to be removed from SWIFT, it can withstand 30 years of ostracism built on the same lies from the same liars who are bringing us yet another war today, it can withstand a Saddam armed to the teeth by the world to invade Iran during the vulnerable period immediately following the Iranian revolution of 1979 (and send him back), and it can certainly withstand the libels of Hollywood (a powerful medium) that make it okay for Americans to vent anger (with actual murderous intent) against innocents across the world without feeling guilty. Israel as a country without a superpower to enable it to continue its crimes would simply die. In fact, if Israel does not pursue a unified solution, as apartheid South Africa went through, the Zionist project has no chance or corridor to survive under its current trajectory. Simply put, the factions that make up Israeli decisionmakers today include a criminal bunch and no one is there anymore, according to even a former Israeli spymaster, to stop the Titanic from hitting the iceberg.
Thus, Israel needs a solution as well. That solution was stated clearly to the Netanyahu administration by President Obama and Madame Secretary Clinton four years ago: “deal with your Palestinian problem first.” The two-state solution is long-gone and Abbas’ only effective purpose in moving for any status as an entity before the UN is to gain proper venue to file complaint and sue Israel for nearly every crime imaginable under the legal lexicon. Abbas, of course, is an obvious ploy to maintain the viability of the two-state option. The double-edged sword that it creates will be turned on to the aggressors with good results: the court of public opinion will have no choice but to favor the underdog.

Do you really think Iran is enriching any uranium? In every news footage of the Iranian “nuclear facilities” people are walking around as if they are in a hospital, or on the streets. I don’t recall seeing anyone wearing radiation protection, which makes one thing the whole enrichment story is a scam, may be for political reasons…any Ideas?
If confirmed, the proffered agreement put before Iran, regarding nuclear safeguards with US guarantees, will set Israel into a silent rage. The Beriut bombing may may be a sign of Israel’s growing apoplexy. The odds, therefore, for an Israeli inspired assassination attempt on the President have just increased.
