The Palestinians’ only option

The Palestinians’ only option

By Alan Hart

In the final countdown to the UN General Assembly vote on recognition of Palestine as a non-member state, the PLO has indicated that it’s expecting “a pleasant surprise”, it being the number of European countries which will not do Zionism’s bidding on this occasion and will vote for the resolution. Victory for the Palestinians in this forum can be taken for granted, and it will help to further isolate the Israel of Netanyahu as a pariah state, but… It won’t be, can’t be, a substitute for a viable strategy to secure justice for the Palestinians.

In my analysis the Palestinians now have only one option.

For starters it requires the PLO to recognize and declare that the two-state solution is dead (not least because no Israeli prime minister is going to trigger a Jewish civil war in order to end the occupation of the West Bank including East Jerusalem).

Then what?

The next step should be winding up the Palestine Authority and handing total responsibility for the occupation back to Israel.

That would open the door to what I believe to be the only viable strategy for the Palestinians if they are ever to obtain justice.

With the two-state solution not only dead but formally buried, they could then campaign, with growing global support, for equal rights and security for all in one state (all of pre-1967 Israel plus all of the West Bank plus the Gaza Strip).

In one or two decades at the most, because the Palestinians would outnumber the Jews, one state would mean the end of Zionism, but it would also open the door to real security for the one state’s Jews.

As I have previously written and never tire of saying, the Jews are, generally speaking, the intellectual elite of the world. And the Palestinians are by far the intellectual elite of the Arab world. What they could do together in peace and partnership in one state really is the stuff that dreams are made of. They could change the region for the better and by doing so give new hope and inspiration to the whole world.

As things are and look like going, and given that the Palestinians are never going to surrender to Zionism’s will by accepting crumbs from its table, the only alternative to one state for all is a final Zionist ethnic cleansing of Palestine. That might buy Zionism some more time for the short term, but in the longer term it would most likely guarantee that the rising global tide of anti-Israelism was transformed into classical anti-Semitism, setting the stage for Holocaust II, shorthand for another great turning against Jews everywhere, and starting quite possibly in America.

The question arising from the summary analysis above is this. Where does UN General Assembly recognition of Palestine as a non-member state fit into what I have proposed?

Answer – it does not fit.

So what use could “President” Abbas make of it when he gets it?

When announcing that he was winding up the Palestine Authority and handing responsibility for the occupation back to Israel, he could say to the world something like this: “We are truly grateful for this recognition of our rights and claim for justice, but we must also be realistic. Zionism has no interest in a two-state solution so we must move on. One state with equal rights for all is the only way of preventing a catastrophe for all.”

———————

Four days before the United Nations vote on recognition of Palestine as a non-member state, the Palestine Liberation Organization says it is expecting a “pleasant surprise” in the UN General Assembly in New York. According to PLO sources, representatives of seven more European countries have indicated they will vote to admit Palestine as a non-member state. Five other European countries had already…

A touch unfair as Alan Hart has been an advocate for Palestinian justice for decades.

It does seem a mite bit unfair.
You can’t damn all for the few. Most jews and israelis I’ve met and spent time with are very nice, intelligent, creative and shouldn’t be mixed in with their psychopathic leaders. Just as we Americans are capable of great good, we are also capable of great evil, just look around at what we’re doing today. The jews/israelis are no different. They do love books and study and place great emphasis on it, so I can see why Hart would say it. Wish our culture could say the same.
As far as “fornicating adulterous fraud” is concerned, which man here has not had to do battle with the demon in the semen? Even St. Carter admits he’s had lust in his heart, even if he didn’t act on it. I’ve not yet heard of a St. Sheridan, or is he that angry saint?

The Rothschilds have probably planned sacrificial Jewish deaths as their necessary satanic rituals just like they ordered Germans to round up Jews because they wouldn’t leave for Palestine:

Mr. Hart, if it’s fair to say (or imply) that Jews are smarter than everyone else, it’s also fair to say (or imply) they’re more evil and degenerate than everyone else.

Their extra intelligence seems to occupy the portion of the brain normally reserved for a CONSCIENCE in humans.

Thus, we’re dealing with creatures who, for whatever reason, are incapable of things most humans consider common decency. For the Palestinians to trust these reptiles for a nanosecond is THE VERY DEFINITION OF STUPIDITY.

The Jews who stole Palestine have had 100 years to prove they are capable of decency. At this point, trusting them to grow a conscience even in the face of mounting external pressure is beyond crazy, it’s suicide.

      I agree with Dave.

They can’t be trusted. They want it all and will use whatever means they can to get it. Too much is at stake. If they can push Palestinians out of their homes then they can be pushed out of their own homes. If they want to rebel, cancel their citizenship. Most of them have no real right to be there, they were brought in to boost the numbers.

It’s time the UN grew some balls, and with the US leading the way pushed them back to the pre ’67 borders.
If they don’t like it, do what is necessary. They are arrogant scum. Haven’t you seen the countles videos of settlers spewing the “F*ck off, it’s our land, God gave it to us” line ? They’re not going to change unless they are put in their place militarily. If they were decent people we wouldn’t be in this mess.

I would guess that the vast majority of pro – Palestinian Israelis are dual citizens anyway.

      Never smile at a crocodile.

      F*ck Israel.

Also, Right of Return is not discussed in this article.

Why not a 1SS solution called Palestine. That is the only sane and fair outcome.

The two state is dead since Oslo. Israel enticed the corrupt incompetent reckless Palestinian leadership that signed Oslo with the idea of a possible state… diminished over time to Ramallah Vatican City. The only solution that should be on the table is a One State Solution. The Palestinian leadership dreams of two state is to perpetuate its role as manager of the Jewish Occupation. Only those on the payroll of Ramallah and the Occupation support the leadership and the two state solution.

  8. shachalnur  November 26, 2012 at 10:03 am

The “two state ” solution has been dead for a long time and US,EU ,Palestinians and Israel know this.
In the eighties the most popular solution for rightwing Israeli’s was called “Transfer”.
Pushing the Palestinians into Jordan, flooding this country.
Don’t think this option is off the table.
In the meantime europeans supporting Palestinian observer status is another step towards dropping Israel.
Just like the presidential memorandum on an “inside threat”,the changing of commanders in the US army, and the withdrawal of US carriers in the Gulf.
The pro-Israel press in the US(Rothschild -controlled) is slowly changing it’s tune.
Barak resigning,Bibi and Lieberman very quite.
By the time the UN vote is due Israel might threaten with Red lines again.
Mashaal ,tactically, supports the PA bid, giving the impression they work together, copying Israel’s”the enemy of my enemy is my friend”.
The comming weeks will show lot’s of positioning against Israel.
The US will stand aside,EU will take distance from Israel(in words and deeds),PA ,Hamas,Hezbollah,Syria,Egypt, and Iran ,if neccesary, will slowly raise the pressure, militarily,on Israel.
Israel will have to chose;confronting all of them alone(US and EU will not help militarily),or “give up”.
Because of the mood in paranoid, brainwashed Israel and the coming elections ,the first option is the most probable.
