Kurdish MP: Iran, Iraq, Syria to Study Strategic Plan for War on ISIL

Kurdish MP: Iran, Iraq, Syria to Study Strategic Plan for War on ISIL

TEHRAN (FNA)- A senior Iraqi Kurdish legislator announced that the Iranian, Iraqi and Syrian ministers are due to review ways and strategic plans for all-out war against the ISIL terrorist group.

“The trilateral meeting to fight terrorism which is due to be held in the presence of the Iraqi, Syrian and Iranian ministers is a strategic plan to permanently get rid of the criminal ISIL group,” Majed Shangali was quoted as saying by Kurdpress on Tuesday.

He underlined that the idea of holding the trilateral meeting in such a regional situation is highly important.

Iranian Interior Minister Abdolreza Rahmani Fazli announced earlier this month that Tehran, Damascus and Baghdad would hold a trilateral meeting to discuss ways to intensify campaign on terrorism.

“A trilateral meeting among Iran, Syria and Iraq is due to be held in Baghdad,” Rahmani Fazli said in a joint press conference with his Syrian counterpart Mohammad Ibrahim al-Shaar in Tehran.

Noting that the three countries are pioneering in resistance against Israel and fighting against terrorism, violence and extremism, he stressed that they should further expand their cooperation.

“We hope that the trilateral meeting will be a prelude to the joint activities of the regional Islamic states on the issues that they share similar views and we will witness holding multilateral meeting among different Islamic countries,” Rahmani Fazli said.

Iranian officials have always called for collective efforts of all countries to help resolve the ongoing crises in Iraq and Syria, and stressed Tehran’s continued assistance to these states.

Also this month, Iranian Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani underlined that the country’s assistance to the regional states, including Iraq and Syria, in fighting the terrorist groups will save future generations from death and misery.

“We fight against terrorism in Iraq and Syria today but believe that this fight will have its fruits for the future of humanity since today the problem of terrorism is not merely related to one country and is an issue related to all humans,” Larijani said in a joint press conference with Speaker of the Syrian People’s Assembly Mohammad Jihad al-Laham in Tehran.

He expressed the hope that the Syrian government and nation would succeed in fighting the savage and adventurous streams, and said, “Of course Iran has always helped the regional states on their path of campaign against terrorism.”

Larijani voiced regret over the powerful countries’ attempts to create problems for the Syrian people in the past 4 years, and said, “The Syrian people’s resistance has prevented the plots of these countries from achieving their goals.”

Also in February, Iranian First Vice-President Eshaq Jahangiri said that “all countries should help Iraq and Syria to leave behind their crises”.

The Iranian first vice-president pointed to the status quo of Iran-Iraq relations, and said, “Iran has always been beside the Iraqi government and nation; I hope the Iraqi people and government will successfully leave behind the current crisis.”

Also in January, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif renewed Tehran’s full support for the Syrian government and nation in their war against the foreign-backed terrorists.

“Iran backs the Syrian government in their ongoing war against terrorism and extremism,” Zarif said in a meeting with his German counterpart Frank-Walter Steinmeier in Berlin.

step one is cutting off all their supply lines closing their airspace to ALL!
District of Criminals military can tell where planes come from and return to with satellite and ground radar, but they dont. USAF air strikes aren’t being allowed against ISIS-whatever unless it can destroy infrastructure AFTER the terrorists have evacuated? gee thanks? report of izrahell air lifting injured terrorists 500 miles inside Syria to take them to izrahelli hospitals for treatment isnt a clue? Operation Southern Storm with “Iron Dome” extended inside Syria to protect terrorists isnt a clue? it’s time to call it all what it really is, it is criminal.
