[ Editor’s Note: This article on NEO became number one for the week after being up half a day. You will find out why below with Gordon mixing up some old with something new, as only he can do.

While we type we see the US coalition doubling down with talk of major ground troop movements into Iraq now. There is no mention of asking for permission from Iraq to do this so far. The play, or a fake, seems to be “I’ll raise you ten combat divisions, not counting the Turkish army”.

Ahhh…don’t you just love the spreading democracy coalition with the likes of Turkey and the monarchy states? Mass media so far has not uttered a harsh word or even raised a question of illegality. And Mr. Moon at the UN is keeping a low profile. He seems to love calling for moderation but not caring much when it never works. Is that leadership…or foolishness?... Jim W. Dean ]

"Sone bird McCain" - How is he working for now?

“Song bird McCain” – How is he working for now?

A story leaked out of Washington credits Senator John McCain, empowered by America’s corrupt congress to oversee Pentagon programs, with derailing the Obama administration’s “coalition bombing campaign” in Syria and Iraq.

McCain and key right wing extremists, working in concert with Turkish, Israeli and Saudi intelligence, have placed a “political shield” over terrorist targets in Iraq and Syria, something that has frustrated American pilots, silenced by the threat of imprisonment or worse.

Reports from pilots and sources up and down the Pentagon chain of command tell an interesting story. Considering America’s years of experience at “precision bombing” and the vast intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance capabilities of the world’s largest military, America’s utter failure in curtailing ISIS and her dozens of “sister organizations” has been inexplicable.

American pilots flying over Iraq and Syria have quietly leaked their story for over a year now but no news agency will carry it. They say they have flown over oil tanker convoys 4 lanes wide at times and been told to stay silent.

They report mysterious aircraft dropping supplies to ISIS and al Nusra, they are silenced on that as well. The most common report, however, is massive parking lots filled with hundreds, even thousands of Humvees, Abrams tanks, artillery pieces, support vehicles of all kinds, all “hands off” at the orders of the Pentagon.

US troops entering Kuwait - We have come a long way since then.

US troops entering Kuwait – We have come a long way since then.

In previous bombing campaigns in Iraq and Afghanistan, American pilots and drone operators admittedly suffered “collateral damage” at levels from 50% to almost 90% by some estimates. This could be the reason the US has somehow ordered pilots, both “cockpit” and “desk bound drone,” to “stand down” when they find juicy targets of opportunity.

They say it isn’t, that many of these targets are totally in the open or “well worth the risk.” In fact some pilots are totally dispirited from seeing the same “fat targets” over and over while they are sent after road checkpoints or abandoned buildings.

McCain, chairman of the powerful Senator Armed Services Committee, has strangled America’s efforts to the point where there are no sufficient munitions available. America is flying operations over Syria and Iraq with the aging F 16 recently upgraded for improved all weather capability using typical payloads of World War II era iron bombs.

Note that John McCain’s personal trips to Syria, meeting with the heads of ISIS and al Nusra, deeply parallel his earlier actions in Vietnam when as a prisoner of war McCain trained North Vietnamese air defense forces to shoot down American planes and made dozens of anti-American propaganda broadcasts.

McCain was pardoned by President Nixon when facing court martial and his records sealed and “whitewashed” by the press.

Crippled Operations

America is beholding to Turkey for the use of an airbase for operations in Syria and Iraq, bombing runs that restrict loiter time and can require air refueling as America’s aircraft carriers are now being kept in port with rare forays into the Pacific or Indian Ocean, all on McCain’s orders.

Even America’s huge airbase in Qatar, home to the B1B and B52 fleet of heavy bombers, seen over Kobani, is now “frozen” and “off limits” for anti-ISIS operations.

Making the Case

Taking the anonymous statements of half a dozen pilots and extrapolating a pattern requires support, both direct and anecdotal. Below we list some factors used:

  • Traditionally, the US reports some collateral damage while foreign press is more forthcoming. However, there are almost no reports of collateral damage by US planes with the exception of assertions by Russia and Syria that coalition planes are actually actively flying air support for ISIS and al Nusra operations, bombing power stations and “accidentally” hitting Syrian Army units involved in critical operations.
  • US capability, advanced weapons and targeting capability, when combined with the available aircraft in the US inventory at over 1000, should have made all movement and resupply in both Iraq and Syria through use of “kill zones” and impossibility within two weeks. A year later and ISIS heavy armour convoys are as safe on Iraq roads as though they were snug at home in their mother’s arms.
  • Failure to bring America’s A-10 “Warthog” squadrons to Iraq, the only planes America has in its inventory capable of obliterating oil convoys and other ISIS assets, is more than curious, it is criminal.
  • That Russia, within weeks, was able to destroy hundreds of “fat targets,” command centers, fuel and ammunition depots, equipment storage facilities and training camps, most of which had been “up and running” through the entire coalition bombing campaign but untouched, speaks volumes as to the truth of reports by American pilots of “hands off” orders.
  • America’s refusal to share targeting data with Russia may well be more than simply politics. Sharing this date would reveal patterns of deception and misdirection that would, we believe, inexorably lead to exposure of the American led bombing program as a sham.

McCain on a field trip with his al-Qaeda – ISIL buddies

The political issue that few outside Washington can understand is how an American politician like McCain, whose “long game” could be anything, treason, personal gain or “he knows something we don’t,” can govern or even overrule the White House.

That answer is not simple, that American military commanders are inherently, and we are saying a majority, deceptive, disloyal and conspiratorial. Since Obama was elected, Washington has been deluged with rumors of a military coup against the government.

Literally thousands of military officers have been “cashiered” for misconduct of all kinds, sexual, gambling or incompetence, with the real underlying reason being treason.

For decades, AIPAC, the Israeli lobby in Washington, was believed to control congress, the press and the American military. In recent months, however, it has become clear that AIPAC has always acted in concert with Turkish intelligence services and the powerful Saudi lobby.

As al Qaeda has moved from “terror group” to “loyal American ally,” pulling a decade of conspiracy theorists into the mainstream, the exposure of the Israeli, Turkish, Saudi alliance with the American right and their love affair with ISIS is also coming into focus.

With that, with the right and all that cash, all that influence and the bizarre and unfathomable Mr. McCain, more is coming into focus as well, how America’s Air Force may actually be ISIS’ air force.

Another explanation would be welcome but thus far is not supportable by facts.

When ever I hear the name McCain, I always think about the Cain in “Cain & Able”, when I first heard we were going into Iraq to Baghdad, I always thought of Babylon as in Nebuchadrezzar, an never ending rabbit hole of man and his desire to deceive and conquer for the pleasure of Greed and Power since the beginning of time, we went a 360 from the beginning of times, to maybe the end of times, on the same piece of real estate of such wickedness.

My comment essentially addresses the critique of CRM114 to Gordon Duff´s article. The response to the article is interesting. While attempting to refute the gist of Duff´s article, it enumerates the political subterfuge with which “wet-start“ McCain and supernumeraries continue to demonstrate great proficiency. The current coordination of “wet start,“ with the leadership of the enemy, reflects the continued practice of his historically demonstrated skills, and continued support of the supernumeraries of “wet-start“.
If you are not a friend of „wet start,“ are you a relative? Perhaps one of his supernumeraries?

Am I relative of Senator McCain? Not in the least, (I will add, “thank God”) barring the proverbial 6 degrees of separation, and certainly Mr. Duff and others at VT are aware through my previous posts I have been highly critical of the man, as much as I’ve heaped praise on each of VT’s writers for exceptional work. I will also add that I have no respect for Senator McCain for many reasons, including his crushing substantive inquiry on TWA Flight 800. However, I disagree with the premise of this particular piece. Actually another reader put their thoughts on this article much better than I did, below.

The US obliterates the existing government and creates an artificial Armageddon in Iraq and Syria and assistance in Lybia and Obama wants to give them a job, on his terms, as if the US is the new boss. Wishful thinking.
The right thing to do is the hardest, and impossible. Give Iraq and Syria and Beirut and Lybia….trillions of dollars in gold, a trillion apologies, and a promise never to return even as fat lazy rich tourists, and a trillion years in prison for the war mongers who think the military is a good business tool. And tell the goofy Monks in Myanmar to smoke some hash and leave the Muslims alone.

That McCain has the ability to do this on such a large scale from his senate position flaunts the fact of there not being any checks and balances left. If the Executive branch can’t stop this he’s got no clothes and these senators have taken over remorselessly and are working for a rouge fascist organisation.Does not the US A.G.have some questions at least? These pilots need to put down in a different base.

An in-depth research into McCain’s ancestry would reveal his true allegiances, and why he has been protected by the globalists.

Sibel Edmonds has been raising hell about Turkish involvement, since she was fired by the FBI in March 2002. Sad that it has taken 13 1/2 years for her to be taken seriously.

I knew or suspected most of this, but the part about the vehicle parks is just a jaw-dropper. Where did Daesh get Abrams tanks, or is that a stupid question?

    • Bartered  December 16, 2015 at 12:31 am

They were given to them by Iraqi soldiers. Why? Several reasons. The Iraqi soldiers were sympathetic to the ISIS cause, (they dont like the US), and they and their families may have been threatened if they didn’t give up the goods. Many Iraqi soldiers literally dropped everything and walked away before Daesh troops even approached the check point.
The Kurds were another issue. They hate Daesh and don’t trust the Iraqi troops they were forced to work with by the US. The US will not give a Turkish soldier support unless they are sworn in as an Iraqi loyalist. That’s the reader digest version.

When you realize that the flag bearer is corrupt your allegiance to the flag is not viable anymore.

I think this is an obvious conclusion and I base that on a few facts. One being power and who has that power? Another is opportunity and the failure to take advantage. When you have dominance and opportunity to use it and nothing happens, something stinks. That’s the only answer as to how this has been allowed to go on for so long.

I agree completely with Gordon in regard to his comment about 2 weeks time frame. It should take no longer than two weeks to completely seal off every single logistical aspect of Syria from soup to nuts. Yet people still come and go freely at will. Doesn’t matter if it’s oil tankers or supply lines.. free movement under the eye of the most powerful force on the planet….not only is this impossible under real world circumstance, it’s pathetic to pass it off as being harder than they thought it would be. That is an asinine line of reason and I’ll never understand how a sitting President can say that in public with a straight face.

    Gonna take time my ass.

intersting stuff. The war party is clearly in the drivers seat on this one and McCain is at the wheel. Obama is trying to impose his will but is hopelessly out maneuvered. It’s like they don’t tell him anything.

Extrapolate back from what’s written here and I think you could surmise that McCain was running his own policy on Ukrane too. There is the same inability of Obama to impose his will like after the Sochi meeting. A week later the shelling was incredible.

Interesting that Biden is the point man on Ukraine. Is he in cahoots with McCain and the war party? Their inside man so to speak?

What is McCains motivation. Does he serve power? Or is he a psychopath?

    Many questions.

  11. CRM114  December 15, 2015 at 6:03 am

Interesting, but not entirely on target. While many of my previous posts will evidence I am no fan of McCain, the air war in Vietnam was compromised for many of the reasons that are currently impairing the US “effort” against ISIS. US forces in Vietnam were prohibited from attacking the main radar installations and command centers (over concern about killing Russian and Chinese operators). The Vietnamese flew their fighters and coordinated SAM’s with precision, and Vietnamese fighters were positioned in near perfect ambush vectors. Had the US targeted the command and control infrastructure, the situation in the air would have been different, to say the least (and notwithstanding whatever intel and tactics an A4 pilot, albeit one who had the CINCPAC as a father, could disgorge). And, unfortunately, there is a subculture in the military riff with misconduct including “sexual, gambling or incompetence”. Sometimes things are what they appear to be, including political correctness, abject stupidity and gross negligence. One need look no further than retired Admiral Kirby (now State Department Spokesman and perennial prevaricator) to see the lengths the executive will go to in building a culture where criticism of him and his policies is not tolerated, and those who promote the company line are rewarded.

whoever CRM is, this is someone who knows nothing about the current military. Suggest you start catching up. Also…if you are going to bother commenting, read the article first. This is a “smart people” place, which requires work even on behalf of commentors.

    • CRM114  December 15, 2015 at 9:17 am

What I have noted, Mr. Duff, is that you do have a practice of attacking a commentator’s anonymity, or their intellect and background, in a reactionary way. And certainly even a cursory review of certain regular commentators on these pages, and their contributions, would suggest you do not consistently invoke the “smart people” mantra, but you I’ve noted you do so in a defensive manner when people don’t agree with you. In fact, I have a great deal of knowledge about this and many related things. I would suggest you and Mr. Dean review your submission and editorial standards. Certainly whoever manages your content should ask you to be a bit less reactive when challenged. You have a good day, sir.

“the political issue that few outside Washington can understand is how an American politician like McCain, can govern or even overrule the White House… even more stupefying is how he is still standing when all his treacherous acts collaborating in terrorism come conveniently under the protective flag of the United States of America …as he drags it through the mud and blood

    • Donald Moore  December 15, 2015 at 5:18 am

What you don’t know is politics in the US. As a new Senator or Congressman it is the workers (aids, secretaries, ect) that really does all the work for them because they been doing it for years, they inherit the old staff from the previous one. To learn or get anything done they are taken under the wing by and old corrupt Senator or Congressman and trained. If they try to do something themselves they are are turned into a pariah and not elected the next time around. Get the picture up to now. With an old fossil like McCain he’s learned allot (all evil) and gotten and been given a lot of IOU’s. He’s developed allot of power and has many friends in high places, even to have someone killed if necessary. Things can’t and won’t get done without a man like him saying yes, because all his underlings know better then go against him. Thats why their is no term limitations, they would remove the power of men like him and they will all have to start working together to get things done if you had a new Congressman every eight years and Senator twelve because they would not have time to build up that much power.

    • Bartered  December 16, 2015 at 12:14 am

      Donald,
You just described an artificial monarchy. Lord Mcain, Lord Reid, Lord Graham. King Obama. Since they deal with the royal family of Saudi Arabia, Britain, and Thailand and what was the Shah of Iran it makes perfect sense.
