Apparently Trump just talked to Erdogan about a no-fly zone in northern Syria, amid a whole set of Turkey-Israel-Saudi-USA meetings underway

India’s sometimes on-target retired Ambassador M K Bhadrakumar, says it looks like the Trump-USA strategy, is to hassle & menace Iran so much, that Iran & Hezbollah leave Syria, which is what Israel, Turkey & Saudi Arabia all want … this also would undermine Russia’s air operations which depend on Iranian – Hezbollah spotting & ground support

Per Bhadrakumar, the Israeli-Turkish-Saudi axis seems to feel that If Iran can be pushed out of Syria by a ‘psywar’, the Russians are de-fanged & the Assad gov & army will crumble

Brabantian, your analysis is plausible. If that ends up happening, then terrorists will take over Syria the same way they did in Iraq and Libya. Then everyone in the West might finally come to the realization that supporting terrorists to overthrow yet another foreign government was the goal of the Western so called “anti-terrorism” coalition, all along. Something the rest of the world fully understands already. It’s so sad, because the so called “leaders” of the so called “free world” are the primary cause of everyone’s misery. They are ruthless, murderous scumbags and without them, the world making actually have a chance at accomplishing peace. If they put half as much effort into cooperating with other nations as they do inventing psychotic lies and false threats aimed at tricking people into backing aggressive, illegal war, the world would be a much better place.
