Israeli “apartheid” – or something much worse? (Press TV Debate)

In this edition of The Debate, Press TV has conducted an interview with Brent Budowsky, a columnist with The Hill newspaper from Washington, and Veterans Today Editor Kevin Barrett, author and Middle East expert from Seattle, to discuss a United Nations official’s resignation following pressure to withdraw the report labeling Israel as an apartheid regime.

Brent Budowsky: “First of all, I have to say, the garbage I just heard out of the mouth of someone in Seattle is an embarrassment to Press TV and to serious discourse! …That kind of garbage has no place in any kind of debate…”

What triggered Budowsky’s meltdown?

Did he have good reason to be offended? Or is it just that he can’t handle the truth?

Watch The Debate and draw your own conclusions.

Why is this man scowling?

Seems sort of moot. Perhaps 17 years ago it made sense to debate whether the definition of apartheid applies, but since Mossad helped pull off 911 does it even matter? Zionism has become a hostile foreign ideology which has infiltrated the highest levels of US government, finance & entertainment, then committed an act of war upon it’s citizenry (including Jewish Americans) in order to promulgate an oxymoronic “War on Terror”. Until Israel’s involvement in 911 is publicly addressed why even bother? Once enough Americans are aware of this fact they’ll be debating whether Israel should even continue to exist. Leveraging a 2 state solution would be doing them a service.

After Nelson Mandela and Bishop Tu Tu visited Israel, Mandela said that “Israel is more apartheid than South Africa ever was”.
As far as Im concerned, nothing has changed.

It is a complete joke to think these two sides could sit down and intelligently come to some agreement to live next door to each other without a superior force available to enforce the rules fairly on both sides of which there is none, zero and Israel would not pay any attention to them unless lethal force were made against them to do it. They have shown themselves to be pathological lawbreakers supported by the totally corrupt fools who run America. Until such a force exists, the situation over there will remain unresolved and deteriorate to unspeakable horror possibly even for Israel which could also be obliterated if certain powers deemed it so. They need to be taught a lesson they won’t soon forget. I believe they intimidated this poor woman in the UN as they bully their way for every selfish interest every day. They have no compassion or consideration for anyone but themselves. They can’t get along with neighbors which everyone on this planet does every day except bully Israel. Israel is a disgrace to the civilized world and the UN should be abolished because it won’t stand up to them.

WRONG Budowsky….that is exactly the “kind of language” needed because it is pure unadulterated truth Mr Barret speaks…and until you Budowsky and your ignorant fools have been on the ground and seen for yourself you have no right to open your ignorant mouth….your position is clear, you are there to champion a cause for criminals, and the organization that backs them is just that a cover “organization”….NOT all nations coming together united, how many individual nations leaders received this report?…. none…. because the UN is a gatekeeper organization to be flushed away as nations come together behind its criminal lying back

He was triggered by “master race” and he should examine the Native Americans situation. Israel was created by the same process to a degree, which is a religious based exceptionalism claim that applies to territory previously inhabited by others. Here we have the Doctrine of Discovery which has been ruled as illegitimate doctrine by the UN. The guy is maintaining a moderate stance and bristles as if anything further is crazy. The moderates want their edge to be the farthest allowed. Reality is, any territory taken anywhere, by claiming racial or religious superiority is domination or conquering. We see many similarities between the US and Palestine. It was legal to kill Natives but not Christians here, and there it is practically legal to kill Palestinians but not Jews. It progresses the same way. The US is in a bind if they don’t support superiority by religion, because the US claim would be void.
