Pour l’avocat de Hermant, ce dernier a agi uniquement pour les intérêts des services de douanes et de gendarmerie :«On ne peut pas accepter que la gendarmerie travaille de façon borderline. Quand ça marche, ils sont contents, et quand ça ne marche pas, elle vous laisse seul dans un champ de ruines. On ne peut pas laisser un soldat en rase campagne.».

Selon Libération, Moulin justifie la plainte de son client en s’appuyant « sur un article de Médiapart publié en mars 2017 : Claude Hermant avait prévenu la gendarmerie qu’un convoi d’armes était de passage à un péage d’autoroute entre Lille et Paris, mais la gendarmerie n’aurait réussi à intercepter qu’un véhicule sur deux. Ces mails laissent supposer que Hermant aurait pu recevoir l’aval d’un service de renseignement pour ses actions dans l’affaire des livraisons d’armes à Coulibaly ou à d’autres islamistes. La Voix du Nord poursuit : « Imaginons que vous tombiez sur ce type de message (parmi une dizaine) qui aurait été envoyé par un gendarme à Claude Hermant, le 21 novembre 2014 à 8 h 47. Qu’un proche du prévenu certifie que ‘Claude Hermant a assuré ses arrières…’ ».

Il est clair que des forces beaucoup plus larges que les seuls islamistes étaient mouillées dans les agissements qui ont préparé les attentats. Le recours par l’Etat au secret défense et le silence assourdissant des grands médias servent à façonner un narratif partiel et faux sur les attentats, qui incite le racisme antimusulman et qui lave le rôle de l’Etat et de l’extrême-droite.

L’état d’urgence instauré après les attentats du 13 novembre 2015 est basé sur ce mensonge, que les médias capitalistes ne contestent pas car il sert de fondation à la politique bourgeoise en France.
