Russian expert: Is a military coup next for the disaster of Venezuela?

April 13, 2002. Presidential guard soldiers loyal to ousted President Hugo Chavez take positions at their headquarters across the street from Miraflores presidential palace in Caracas, Venezuela.

[Editor’s note: 15 years ago, the US sponsored a coup to oust Venezuela president Hugo Chavez which ultimately failed due to the immense popularity Chavez enjoyed with the ordinary people. Now, the US appears to be about to sponsor another coup, this time to take down Chavez’s successor President Maduro. See The US Role in the Failed Attempt to Overthrow Hugo Chavez.

The recent violence in Venezuela and the so-called opposition protests are completely bogus, fabricated by forces controlled and financed by the US, the hundreds of deaths are the work of the opposition at the behest of their US masters. What The Media Isn’t Telling You About The Jailing Of Opposition Leaders In Venezuela:

“Western media have described Leopoldo López, a politician who has a dark history of inciting violent protests, as the ‘Venezuelan Nelson Mandela.’ But they have ignored the facts surrounding his recent arrest, as well as that of fellow opposition leader Antonio Ledezma.”

Venezuela cannot be allowed to thrive and flourish as it is not under the control of the IMF, World Bank and sundry other tentacles of the international criminal banking cabal. If  Venezuela is allowed to succeed, the rest of central and south America might join them in throwing off the yoke of oppression and exploitation. The early signs of this are already visible – Guatemala is starting to use and teach it’s native pre-Spanish language again and Bolivia under Evo Morales is booming after successfully kicking out all traces of IMF and World Bank influence. Ian]

RISS expert: Is a military coup next for the disaster of Venezuela?

The USA work on the scenario of a military coup in Venezuela in order to bring to power a new government focused on Washington, not interfering directly in the internal affairs of the country, RISS expert believes.

“I think that the civil war would satisfy the US in less degree than a state coup organized by the Venezuelan military forces. The Americans are now working in all areas, including military, to remove the Venezuelan President with small losses,” – RISS expert I. Pshenichnikov said.

According to expert opinion, the new government that rejects political course of the followers of Hugo Chavez almost immediately would have received recognition from the United States “without any resolution from the Organization of American States (OAS).”

The probability of a military coup is related with the fact that the current government of Venezuela cannot fully rely on the security forces and the army.

In addition, as previously reported the head of the Center for Political Studies of the Institute for Latin American Studies of Russian Academy of Sciences Zbigniew Ivanovsky, we should consider the recent resignations of several senior military officials, among whom were even the commanders of the individual branches of the military.

“It is symptomatic and indicates that Maduro doesn’t trust them. It is possible that the Americans are working with the Venezuelan military forces, taking into account the corruption factor,” – RISS expert said.

Latin America specialist also suggested the risk of civil war.

“Likely, it will be either a military coup or a civil war. The country will reach a point when the problem will be submitted to the agenda of the UN or the OAS. Further, a resolution is adopted, for example, on the deployment of peacekeeping forces. And thus the reign of Maduro will end,” – I. Pshenicnnikov stated.

The expert believes it is possible that the USA will use a resource which is under control of Colombia’s former President Alvaro Uribe, who brought together the formation of the “paramilitares” in Venezuela.

“At one time “Contras” also acted against Nicaragua. These formations were supplemented by Nicaraguan farmers through ideological indoctrination or intimidation. There were about 10 thousand people by the end of the civil war in neighboring Honduras. Now the same scheme is used against Venezuela,” said I. Pshenichnikov.

    Thanks Ian.

A couple years back, as soon as I heard that Venezuela had the largest proven oil reserves, I knew it wouldn’t be long until their government was scheduled for a CIA sponsored overthrow. The USG doesn’t like when a foreign national leader tries to stop the exploitation of their national resources, in order to improve the quality of life for the people of the nation that voted for him. Nor does the USG like hearing that the CIA will no longer be permitted to move illicit drugs across Venezuelan borders. How will they fund their regime change, terrorist armies and the media campaigns in support of those armies, without the immense profits generated by controlling the illicit drug trade?

I hope the USG fails miserably in their Venezuelan endeavours.

It looks a bit like a replay off the West’s determination to pillage and plunder Russia, where it was necessary for Putin to be allowed extraordinary powers, to fend them off, and then get a grip of of uncooperative oligarchs.

And look at how Putin has restored the Christian church there. Likewise the Comunist Party in China. Imagine if the Chinese leaders had succumbed to the mendaciously villainous machinations of the West, where it would be now. Probably snorting opium, if history is any guide ! I can’t help wondering if Pope Francis has been fed desperately fake news concerning the situation in Venezuela, as we apparently are. If anything it seems Chavez and Maduro should have dealt with their oligarchs more firmly, it seems to me.
