History is full of ignoramuses, but today’s history is being marked by fools who do not have a clue as to how lucky they were to have been born in America, or who became American because their families were able to immigrate to this great country.
Democratic Party. There is no such party, but that is what the Democrats chose to call themselves even though there is living proof that they are anything but democratic . . . just ask Bernie.
The U.S. can become the global leader and peacekeeper by re-establishing our economic dominance, insuring the integrity of the world’s reserve currency (the U.S. Dollar), and becoming the global leader in energy exports.
Now comes California along with rumblings from Washington and Oregon as well, that they want to cede from the union. I think that is a great idea. Good riddance!
Hillary bashed Donald Trump over legitimate business dealings with the Russians, yet the Clinton Crime Family is far more involved with Russian under-the-table dealings than the media will ever report.
Additionally, often overlooked by the folks on the left, is the fact that the United States is the only country to have ever fought a war to end slavery. Yes, 630,000 Americans died to insure the rights of all Americans and to end the abomination of slavery, but our children never hear that side of the story . . . many cannot even tell you what the Civil War was all about, and even more frightening is that many do not even know who fought in the war!
Politicians have proven themselves to be among the least brightest individuals one would find among the population of America. Not wanting to classify all those who seek public office as being nothing more than a sack of rocks, let us just point out the truth here that the private sector hires the best while the […]
A couple of years ago I was asked to become an advisor to Warrior2Citizen Inc., a non-profit entity that was being formed to provide needed services to assist active duty military personnel transitioning back to civilian life and/or stateside duty. At that time the Department of Veterans Affairs estimated that close to 18 Veterans per […]
Do we want the president to be able to simply write anything into law, bypassing Congress in direct violation of the Separation of Powers? Is that what the Founding Fathers had in mind?
As we head into the presidential election season we are once again faced with a choice of who we the people want as president and the who will be the Commander in Chief of our armed forces. This year is like no other, but still, the closest we have come to similar challenges our nation faced in the Eighties.
With the President’s “Shovel Ready Jobs Program”, “Cash for Clunkers” (Now politely called Car Allowance Rebate System – C.A.R.S.), and many other programs, the money being pumped into the economy by the federal government, did not solve the nation’s problems as promised.
With the best minds in Washington, which will tell you volumes about the stupidity we have elected to public office, and with the best input from academia, which will show you why our education system has failed our children, there must be an explanation as to why they have been so wrong
Today’s modern left-leaning and progressive democrat, contend the reasons for the failed utopian dream is because, “not enough money has been spent by tax confiscation, or that those in charge simply haven’t done it right”!
Isn’t it amazing that GOP that was so worried about Donald Trump at the first GOP debate, that they tried to box him in to committing to support whatever GOP candidate the Republicans ended up selecting in the primaries. These are the same hypocrites that are now trying to find any way they can to stop Trump from winning.
There never seems to be an end to what needs to be opened up for discussion or issues that need to be brought to light, because it’s a sure-fire bet the political elite love their world of hidden agendas and secrecy.
So, a cost of living increase wasn’t justifiable for we peons of the private sector masses, but it was perfectly okay for our bloated bureaucratic workers nursing at the government teat in Washington.
America. When the Founders of the United States were pondering the form of government under which the new nation would function, they approached the task with a strong affinity for a democracy, but were keenly aware that all democracies were very short lived.
While Americans for the most part, seem enamored by their favorite athletes and treat them like gods, few tributes are paid to those who make all the fortunes of America possible by their service in the military.
First and foremost, despite whatever rhetoric one hears from the liberal, anti-gun crowd, the Founding Fathers were adamant about the rights of every citizen to own guns. When you read the Federalist Papers, the message was clear and in that, there was no ambiguity about the right to bear arms by the citizens of the […]
However, the dissatisfaction with politicians from those who do pay attention to what is going on in the country (the number is decreasing with each passing year) on both sides of the aisle, is proving to be an unpredictable year as to who the political party candidates for president will be for the 2016 election. Most learned voters would just as soon hang them all from a yardarm!
Keeping guns in one part of the home and ammo in another would be like keeping your car in the garage empty and storing the gasoline outside or in another building. It would get old quickly to pour gas in your car every time you wanted to run to the store.
“To Obama it looks to be all a part of his plan to destroy America . . . pardon me . . . ‘to transform America’, all capped off with his dismantling of our military forces. I believe it is all about creating the Perfect Storm for the downfall of America by President Obama who arguably may be the Manchurian Candidate of the new world order. “
If you are not worried about the political correctness that is tearing our country apart, perhaps you need a course in the values that built America into the greatest country ever seen on this planet.
The U.S. government is shrinking from sight on the global stage. We the people are being placed in danger with terrorists at our borders. No longer is the battle with terrorist confined to the Middle East where the current Administration chooses to ignore the gravity of the situation rather than take a leadership role to defeat it.
Try as they might, and even enabled by the liberal media, the Democrat Party cannot run from their complicity in slavery, their legislative enactment of the Jim Crow Laws, the Ku Klux Klan, the lynchings and terror of Blacks, and the racial hatred and bigotry, any more than they can run from their attempt today, to re-enslave Black America. Through their use of government welfare and handouts, the Democrats are luring people of color to the New Government Plantation with the federal government as the overseer.
Blaming guns as the cause of terror attacks is like President Obama blaming the lack of a meaningful “jobs program” as the cause of Islamic terror in the Middle East.
History is civilization’s greatest education tool. Those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it. But to simply deny that events happened by removing any and all historic reference to history we find abhorrent or distasteful, is to deny that such historic happenings ever occurred. It does not make reality go away, nor does it change what has happened in the past.
Today words used by our Founding Fathers are being deemed “radical” and “extreme” by those out to fundamentally change America. Their real mission is to fundamentally destroy the country which is the last best hope for mankind.
The words of a well-respected Democrat from back in the Fifties are good words to help those struggling to make their Dream in America . . . “America is much more than a geographical fact. It is a political and moral fact – the first community in which men set out in principle to institutionalize freedom, responsible government, and human equality”. ~Adlai Stevenson
“People who are able to do something well can do that thing for a living, while people who are not able to do anything that well make a living by teaching . . . in short, Those who can do; those who can’t teach.” This is taken from an old proverb.
