Hundreds of thousands of servicemen were exposed to asbestos over decades, especially during the period from 1940 to 1980.  Asbestos was used in construction of naval vessels as well as shore facilities.  All branches of the military used asbestos, which was also widely used in civilian applications.  Asbestos can cause mesothelioma.  Because this cancer has a particularly long latency period, many servicemen who were exposed years ago are now developing this disease.

News: American Soldiers Take Up Arms Against American Soldiers - 1846 to 1848 - St. Patrick's Battalion

911 & Terror War

San Patricio Battalion FlagWe need to understand. What happened yesterday at Fort Hood has happened before. Here is an article from Wikipedia about the Saint Patrick's Battalion in the Mexican Army during our War with Mexico.

Irishmen deserted the American Army to form a battalion to fight for Mexico against their former comrades in arms. The disagreement was over religion. The Irish soldiers in the U.S. Army did not like the fact that they were being mistreated by their Protestant Anglo-American officers because of their Catholic religion.  They fought against their fellow American soldiers because of what they perceived to be religious intolerance on the part of fellow soldiers toward them and a desire to stay out of combat against fellow Catholics in Mexico.

What happened yesterday has happened before.  The San Patricios are heroes today in Mexico.  It is a hard and bitter fact, but it is true.  This has happened before.

This explains why understanding is not possible
U.S. Veterans speak in silence 10-06-09
Peter Macdonald 465 Packers falls Rd Lee NH 03824 603-659-6217
VETERAN’S TODAY published an article where Carolyn Crandall best tells all U.S. citizens what the problem is. Veterans Today is a web page where veterans and other articles allow those that have been there to see there is a chance. This is a growing site that editors across the U.S. should read. Not all but some letters and articles inform honestly the inner most part of the mind of those with silent demons and some if not most do not even realize they are in them. Carolyn is talking about being raped her self and what followed. Her answer tells the American people why U.S. Military do what they do after coming back from deployment with out her probably even realizing it. Carolyn is talking about rape and the reaction of others to it. The way others cannot accept the traumatic result that engulfs the mind and affects your life. People that have never been raped cannot understand only accept if even that. It is like a mental health doctor treating patients only from the experiences of what he read in a book. Carolyn speaks out on a subject that no one wants to hear.
A Major Mental Health Doctor at Fort Hood who returned once from deployment suffered from it yet no one saw or believed the word. A Marine from NH stationed in NC kills his wife shortly after returning. No one back here wants to see the results of those that have been there because they do not understand. People believe that they can knowingly be qualified to understand. I ask how if you have not experienced it? The day that I stepped off the plane in 74 the world that I grew up in no longer existed in my life. Thousands of veterans from every war or conflict enter this domain not even realizing it because of the joy around you. When I stepped of that plane my mind and body suffered from four service connected (some combat related) life-changing disabilities. I had no memory from brain trauma. I had a broke back from a Vietnam Offensive. I had difficulty hearing from being blown off the runway. I had the silent demons that no one would realize for some 20 years eating me away. I was dumped with no help or support into a society that could not accept what I had done or understand what it was doing to my mind. Tens of thousands of U.S. Military Veterans go their entire life suffering because understanding as Carolyn points out cannot be achieved by reading the events in a book. Rape affects different people different ways. Combat and killing others affects each person differently. We do not talk about it back here because it is not a subject that your rejection no matter how settles can cover the hidden discus. A mental health Major illustrates Carolyn’s point clearly.
NH putting me in jail as a terrorist to stop my opinion highlights it in my life. My time as American Advisor while on convoy deep in Cambodia stopping at a friendly village for the night. Taken by the enemy only to kill in hand-to-hand combat. Nights locked in a cell deep in the donjons of NH’s court weapon left me raped from a life only NH elected officials tell me that I do not belong.
May be Carolyn realizes the Rape of the Childs mind that enter our military and defend a life back here that the citizens take for granite. May be Carolyn and the rest of the citizens should understand that we did it and it never leaves. We try to make the best of it, as we survive just knowing that you hate us for what we did. Suicide and violence are a growing part of our life.

Many bad things happen when a country is at war and it also happens among those who are fighting it. What is truly appalling is the tendency to use these type incidents to fight even more wars which this tragedy could well help with providing impetus for. American soldiers should be sent to war only when it is in the best interests of the country and not because it serves foreign and commercial interests.

I suggest a lesson here should be to carefully consider if war is in the best interest of a country to begin with. We could start by requesting the melted steel beams of the twin towers be returned from China and tested for thermite. It is best to know exactly who attacked you before declaring a war that will go on forever against whoever due to 3000 Americans being murdered.

So far about a million and one half people have been killed worldwide including U. S. soldiers and it all resulted from 3000 Americans being murdered in New York City. What will truly be tragic is if we find out in the end some of it could have been avoided if we had simply taken the time to find out why five Israelis were dancing and filming the trade center blasts from a nearby building and why they were spirited back to Isreal with very little investigation.

Over and above this tragedy lets not lose sight of what is really going on.

Like I say lets get all the facts and here is another take on it and I am not saying this is the final blueprint.

http://smokingmirrors.blogspot.com/2009/11/from-fort-hood-to-ramakrishna-dont-be.html

"In Washington, a senior U.S. official said authorities at Fort Hood initially thought one of the victims who had been shot and killed was the shooter. The mistake resulted in a delay of several hours in identifying Hasan as the alleged assailant."

The truth is probably something VERY different. For example:
'Two US privates John Smith and John Henry had been seeing a military psychiatrist major Hasan at Fort hood for a few weeks. Both privates said they were completely against the war of oppression in the middle east and would refuse to report for active duty if ordered to do so."

So the army out them both in therapy with Dr. Hasan. After more than five weeks of therapy both Christian privates were called to go to Afghanistan. Both privates warned they would not go and they would defend themselves with force if the army tried to force them to fight in a war they believed was morally wrong.
Yesterday soldiers tried to surprize the two consciencious abstainers but the soldiers were prepared and killed 12 soldiers who tried to force there way into there barracks at Fort Hood.

During the mele their psychiartrist major Hasan tried to talk the two into surrendering but he was also shot twice. Finally both privates were overcome and killed. Their psychiatrist major Hasan is in hospital.'

Officials of the military have spun the story to make it seem the private's doctor (who has a muslim sounding name) was the perpetraitor so that the public does not understand hjust how much resistance their is to the middle east war in the military rank and file.

The whole official cover story is 98% a lie - just like 9/11. Do you trust the main stream media for the truth in a story like this? Heck, for any story?

I do not.

Support the troops. End the war in the middle east and bring the troops home.

Now." End of quotes

If nothing else it does show that rank and file Americans are beginning to distrust most official pronouncements.

The Sorcha Faal site and i don't know who it is but they do come up with large amounts of information from time to time but in some instances do manage to put quite a spin on it at the tail end. Here is some seeming facts being brought out.

[Note: The US Military has completely removed the website of their Center for the Study of Traumatic Stress organization early on the morning of 6 November 2009]

"Interesting to note in these reports, however, about Major Hasan is his past psychiatric training, paid for by the US Military, at Virginia Tech University where he graduated from that schools Center for Applied Behavior Systems with a degree in biochemistry, a school which FSB reports have long warned “is most likely” one of the US Department of Defenses top PSYOP training centers and where in April, 2007, it suffered the worst school massacre in US history when a Chinese student named Seung-Hui Cho, reported to be a subject to mind-control experiments, single-handedly gunned down 32 fellow students."

"Now to understand the circumstances that placed Major Hasan at Fort Hood in the first place one has to understand that he was one of the US Militaries top PSYOP specialists and had received his medical degree, with honors, from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, Maryland, in 2001, and did his internship at Walter Reed Army Hospital."

"From his position at the Center for the Study of Traumatic Stress, Major Hasan became one of the originators of what is called the US Army's “Warrior Combat Reset Program” set up to help American soldiers returning from war zones, or being redeployed to them, cope with what is called post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and which according to these reports led to his being at Fort Hood to “electronically prepare” an experimental group of US Soldiers for their return to the Iraq war zone."

And among these “experiments” conducted on US Soldiers by their government, and according to FSB files was a “research specialty” of Major Hasan’s, one was one called Radio Hypnotic Intracerebral Control Electronic Dissolution of Memory (RHIC-EDOM) which was pioneered for the US Military in the 1960’s by New York University Professor J. Anthony Deutsch who…“indicated that the mind is a transmitter and if too much information is received, like too many vehicles on a crowded freeway, the brain ceases to transmit. The Professor indicated that an excess of acetyl choline in the brain can interfere with the memory process and control. He indicated excess amounts of acetyl choline can be artificially produced, through both the administration of drugs or through the use of radio waves. The process is called Electronic Dissolution of Memory (EDOM). The memory transmission can be stopped for as long as the radio signal continues.”

"Unfortunately for the Americans, and who were undoubtedly warned by their Russian counterparts about this, the previous Soviet experiments using SSRM Tek software combined with RHIC-EDOM technology had a very dangerous side-effect of “triggering immediate battle memories” instead of “erasing” them and resulting in masses of Russian troops who were undergoing these experiments to “erupt” in “immediate violence” which left an estimated 37 of them dead when they began (for no apparent reason) to begin firing upon each other."
