I'm not a war veteran or a member of the US military, but am an American. My father served on a Navy ship in Vietnam. I believe that this is not another Viet Nam. Although I can never understand because I haven't been there, I want veterans to know that this American deeply appreciates the service, bravery, and sacrifice of our military forces. We (speaking at least for my family) are very proud of all our men and women in uniform. Regardless of your reasons for joining, or what you did during your time in service; I am very grateful to each and every one of you. I wish our veterans a safe and speedy return as well as a good transition back to civilian life, whenever that happens. I'm not a wealthy man, but if any of you ever need help somehow or just want to talk to someone, please feel free to contact me.
