WWII Photos by Roger Hamilton
I was recently sent a link to an amazing set of pictures taken by Roger Hamilton when he was a photograper for the Army Pictorial Service. That was a service created out of the Signal Corps, so you'll see the logo for one or the other in the lower right corner of most of the photos.
I only had time to get through page 4, but a few notes I jotted down at the time.
Images 018, 047, and 037 should go on any Buddy Poppy table.
In my view, Image 078 shows the price for Image 080.
Image 030 is a great shot of Prime Minister Churchill and General Bradley.
Image 035 has the caption for 036 as well. I lingered on that one trying to figure it out. The answer came as soon as I moved 036. This will save you time.

I think it would be great f y'all were to share some of your thoughts about the photos.
Oh yes, I just remembered something -- I have my doubts whether they are digging trenches in Image 064. I swear it looks like one fella is dropping a round down that mortar tube. And digging a trench in sand?
Anyway, let us know what you think.
