Independent American Party Candidate denied the opportunity

Independent American Party Candidate denied the opportunity to participate in Nevada Congressional District 3 debate!!

Floyd Fitzgibbons was advised today by organizers of Monday night’s Congressional District 3 debate that he cannot participate. There was no reason given. Fitzgibbons calls it “an act of prejudice.” “Not inviting certain candidates is something you might expect in a country that doesn’t pride itself on fairness and freedom of political speech – but here in America?”

Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time candidates outside the major parties have been ignored or shunned. “Sometimes I wonder if the debates are rigged so that the major party candidates can keep the agenda focused on matters that continue to drive our country into the ground,” said Fitzgibbons.

“Citizens clamor for a change in the direction our country is going, but until they stop electing the “lesser of two evils” nothing is changing. The major parties in this country are corrupt and they lust for power. The interests of the country and its citizens are only given lip-service. Once in office, most federal candidates become federal power brokers acting like Santa Claus’ with taxpayer money. They ignore the bounds of the Constitution and seek become a law unto themselves – taxing and spending us into destruction.”
