My name is Ana O’Leary I am 26 years old I am a student at CNM getting my CNA and I am a live-in caregiver, homemaker, and housekeeper for my Grandpa Ret. Lt. Col. G. F. Weighton. I am writing you today because we need help. My Grandpa’s dead girlfriend’s family has filed for emergency Guardian and Conservatorship for my grandpa. We went to Court on November the 12th, 2008, to respond to the petition and mine and my brother’s response were thrown out of Court, we are unable to afford a good lawyer or any lawyer. I am afraid about what is going to happen at our next Court hearing on December the 8th, 2008 there is no one looking out for our family, if things go there way my Grandpa will be losing her freedom, his manhood, his liberty, he will be right back where they want him barley hanging on, and waiting for death, I promised my mom when she died that I would take care of our men. I feel as if I am letting her and the rest of our family down. Since I have been here my Grandpa’s overall health, happiness, and well-being have improved greatly. Please if there is someone anyone out there who can help, this family needs help. It is very depressing to see what is happening in America to our Veterans who put there life on the line so we can be free, what has happened to family values who is going to help our proudest generation who is going to stand up and fight for our brave Retired men and women who fought for our freedom.
