#Grand Island Independant-A veterans appreciation ceremony will be on Wednesday, July 1, at Bickford Cottage assisted living center in Grand Island.
A barbecue will start at 1 p.m. A flag-raising ceremony with color guard officiating to honor veterans from Grand Island and surrounding communities will begin at 2 p.m.
Food and refreshments will be provided.
