There are Non-Taliban Poets in The ‘Poetry of The Taliban’

It is truly a matter of controversy as it appears that non-Taliban Afghan poets are presented as Taliban.

Among the seven agreements made by Gen Musharraf with Washington in September 2001, free passage of NATO containers from Karachi Port to Afghanistan via Torkham and Chaman and also air supplies were included.

- The world knows that the Taliban have no intention of relinquishing its Islamo-fascist mentality.

The U.S. army is telling “lies” about a recent shooting in Afghanistan which left 17 civilians — mostly children and women — dead, says Gordon Duff, senior editor of Veterans Today.

For more than a thousand years the Afghan nation, and Pashtun tribes in particular, have resisted all foreign efforts of domination.

“Khalilzad: A Satan whispering in the Hearts of Men”, was titled in an email sent to many recipients by two Piled higher and Deeper (PhDs) expressing their views about Mr. Zal Khalilzad.

Two US Marines in abuse video identified. No Heroes Here! Just Shameless and Pathetic Vulgarity

We have receiving a youtube video of people dressed as Marines, the new version, tons of expensive protective gear, urinating on enemy dead. As one who did this work under unimaginably worse circumstnaces, starving, no body armour and outnumbered, against an enemy our new boys might find a bit daunting, I will give the talk that every real Marine gives young Marines.

Taliban and “peace mission” — these words do not fit together in the minds of Afghans who know the Taliban’s history.

Europe needs liberating a lot more than Afghanistan ever did.

“Saddam never had any weapons of mass destruction but nevertheless, with the American invasion of Iraq, the Iraqis were destined to experience what it really meant to be bombarded with such weapons.”

Civil war in Afghanistan is raging since 1976. It saw relative calm and stability during brief spell of Taliban rule, but peace was snatched away by USA and the country was again pushed into the inferno.

It is absurd to believe that the Pentagon and White House would spend $10 billion a month just to hunt down a handful of terrorists ensconced in the mountains of Afghanistan.

Washington rules America, it doesn’t govern. In fact, there is increasing evidence that it does neither. Had an alien race taken over and chosen the most cowardly and reprehensible to rule, to exploit and enslave in their name, the end result would likely resemble what we have today.

What is obvious, is, with the US elections round the corner, it is a cotton candy being held out to the people of America, having come into power in the flush of promise to “bring the boys home”. A promise that Obama failed to fulfill. Further, the exorbitant costs of foreign wars at the expense of the Americans has become difficult to justify. A lot of ink has been wasted on cotton candy, I am sure more will!

Till 9/11, Pakistan was a fairly stable and prosperous country but its complexion changed once Gen Musharraf opted to align Pakistan with USA and become its coalition partner.

Pakistan’s Taliban on Sunday denied responsibility for twin bomb blasts that ripped through a crowded market in the northwestern city of Peshawar, killing 39 people and injuring dozens.

President Obama is now exploring avenues for a faster withdrawal from Afghanistan. American is flat broke, busted and our allies in Afghanistan have proven, beyond a shadow of a doubt. that they are far worse than our enemies.

News suppression is a way of life in the USA. Our 2007 NIE said the same thing. What is different is that this one is based on deep penetration of Iran, teams on the ground, far more advanced surveillance techniques, in fact, we have spies everywhere in Iran.

The US in pursuit of its strategic and economic objectives in this part of the world arm twisted Gen Musharraf in September 2001 soon after 9/11 and made him do its bidding.

Pakistan-Afghanistan relations have remained frosty ever since Pakistan came into being. King Zahir Shah, Dawood, Taraqi, Hafiz Amin, Dr Najibullah and Babrak Karmal remained friendly to former Soviet Union and India and hostile towards Pakistan owing to self created dispute over Durand Line and Pakhtunistan stunt.
The war in Afghanistan has entered its 10th year, a year of both stalemate and suffering.Everyone is thirsty to see peace and stability in his or her environment across Afghanistan but they are not sure. Even the idea of peace carries great danger.

Like all the isms (communism, socialism, extremism, terrorism), Talibanization is also a phenomenon that didn’t occur in a vacuum and without causation.
Kabul-Throughout Afghanistan people are gathering to celebrate the Afghan new year, Nauroz. It is a chance for Afghans to celebrate the rebirth of nature after the long winter. In Kabul, today thousands of gathered in the cemetery and spent the day picnicking. Before heading home to share a meal that included seven items to symbolize their hope for the coming year: wheat for rebirth, a sweet pudding for affluence, garlic for health, apples for beauty, berries representing the sunrise, vinegar for patience, coins for prosperity. After 13 days the wheat will be collected and tossed into flowing water, by which time it will have collected the family’s bad luck for the year.
Compelled by enormous human lose, billions of taxpayers’ dollars, American prestige and the deadline set for the withdrawal of all troops from Afghanistan Gen. David H. Petraeus had this to say to the Senate’s armed services committee “The momentum achieved by the Taliban in Afghanistan since 2005 has been arrested in much of the country and reversed in a number of important areas,”.

The Viceroy of India, Lord Curzon, at the beginning of the 20th century aptly described Afghanistan as “a piece on the chessboard on which is being played out the game for domination of the world.”
Four years back when the Taliban regime was still ruling over Afghanistan, an old man in his 70s got married to a 16 years old girl without her consensus. The man called Namaz who has got another wife too, claims that he had paid 15,000,000 Afghanis (Equivalent to US$ 1,500) to her father as dowry since, his first wife was unable to deliver children he decided to marry this young lady in order to have children.
The article by Megan Eckstein in Wednesday’s FNP was titled “REASON FOR OPTIMISM” — in big, bold letters. The subtitle was “Bartlett confident about victory in Afghanistan after trip.” Pure propagandistic spin. Why such flimsy pretense in defense of this barbaric war? Why?
Apart from its agenda in Afghanistan, the US had defined objectives set for Pakistan as well. Under the ruse of alliance, America wanted to denuclearize Pakistan and turn it into a compliant state subservient to India. For the accomplishment of its objectives, the US in connivance with Israel, Britain and India chalked out a comprehensive covert plan spread over 7-8 years to weaken it from within
Recent polls suggest that while a majority of U.S. people disapprove of the war in Afghanistan, many on grounds of its horrible economic cost, only 3% took the war into account when voting in the 2010 midterm elections. The issue of the economy weighed heavily on voters, but the war and its cost, though clear to them and clearly related to the economy in their thinking, was a far less pressing concern.
