Editor’s note:  The Al Qaeda forces defeated in the first major outing for the new Iraqi army are, in actuality, controlled by the individuals that Senator John McCain met with this week.  One might ask why an American legislator, a senior member of the Senate Armed Forces Committee, would meet with terrorist groups he himself has cited as responsible for attacks on the United States and the deaths of thousands of American civilians and service men and women?

From an article by Dr. Kevin Barrett:

According to unconfirmed reports, former Republican presidential candidate and current Senator John McCain has joined al-Qaeda.  Informed sources report that McCain slipped across the Syrian border last night and joined the al-Nusra front, an Israeli-supported al-Qaeda affiliate that is waging war against Syria.”

What reasons would McCain have for telling enemies of the United States that he will arrange for military aid, aid we know will be used, not just to attack the government in Damascus, but to exterminate the Christian

population of Syria as well?

This same group, the Chechen Al Qaeda affiliate, trained and supplied by the CIA, has not only kidnapped two Christian bishops but is using chemical weapons in Syria, confirmed by multiple sources and full documentation has been submitted to the United Nations.

Iraqi security forces have arrested a senior militant commander of the al-Qaeda-affiliated Islamic State of Iraq network in the country’s western al-Anbar Province, officials say.

According to an Iraqi security official who spoke on condition of anonymity, Adnan al-Awesi was arrested in a sting operation Wednesday afternoon.

This arrest comes after Iraqi troops launched a large-scale operation in the country’s western desert on May 25 in an effort to clear the area of al-Qaeda militants.

Some 20,000 forces took part in the operation and attacked al-Qaeda hideouts in the area. The Iraqi Army also managed to take control of a large terrorist base in the province near the border with neighboring Jordan.

Western Iraq has been confirmed to have been used by militants for infiltrating into neighboring Syria to join the foreign-backed militants in their fight against the government of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.

Established in 2006, the Islamic State of Iraq is an umbrella organization bringing together several Iraqi insurgent groups.

Al-Qaeda in Iraq is a shadowy group that was once allegedly led by Jordanian militant Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, who was reportedly killed in June 2006.

According to the US government and military officials, after Zarqawi’s death, the group’s leadership fell to Ayyub al-Masri, who was killed, along with Abu Omar al-Baghdadi — another leader of the group — in a joint operation by Iraqi and US troops in Salahuddin Province in April 2010.

Al-Qaeda in Iraq has been blamed for some of the deadliest attacks in the country since the US-led invasion in March 2003.

  1. If it was anyone else as in cooperating with a known terrorist organization then the Feds would take you down and out. I guess in reality there is no law pertaining to Zionist puppets as John McCain has so blatantly displayed. The other question is how can any normal human being even vote this clown into office, shame on all.

  2. McCain showing his true colours-again.
Anyone here know who the Hanoi Songbird was?
Anyone here know why Col. Ted Guy would recommend this songbird for court martial-treason?
Anyone figure why Prez Nixon would use his pardon power to free the creep?
Only in America folks, do you have senators, making decisions for YOU who came within a hair’s breadth of being tattooed by a firing squad for their direct involvement in the deaths of over 60 Uniformed American servicemen.
But hey, its land of the sold out, home of the surveilled, where chickenshit cheap shirt traitors are paraded before a stupefied public as “good men”.
I laugh until I cough from all the heavy metals sprayed on my ass.
Now he’s meeting with terrorists and promising them weapons.
    Sing songbird, sing.

  3. I know people here indicate that Assad and Israel are working together, but the hundred-thousand killed bothers me. If it’s all contrived then why have so many innocent people died (of course they are not all innocent) but still some large number. Is that what is really happening, are the numbers even close, or am I way off base and missing something big? If they are working together, partners then why are only Syrians dieing and not “Jews” in Israel?

    • First of all,if Israel and Assad wouldn’t collaborate,Assad would have been toppled last year.

Second, the deathtoll would have been much higher in the event the “Rebels” would have the upper hand.

Third, most of the civilian killing is being done by the “Rebels”,it is not in Assad’s interest to kill civilians because the mayority in Syria is Sunni, and Assad is Shia.
He would lose the support of the people and the Army.

Fourth ,Israel prefers Assad over Jihadists

  4. McCain went to talk to Al-Qaida to instruct them to be nicer to the other opposition groups.

Different factions of the opposition are fighting in Istanbul over who goes to the US/Russian peace talks.1 aug.

These talks will go nowhere: Assad said today Syria is prepared to attend without preconditions.

Britain and France said they will send weapons “in the future”.

In the meantime the Rothschild/NATO/Al-Qaida rebels are getting their butts kicked in Qusair and an assault on Alleppo is being prepared.

Al-Qaida being under attack in Syria and Iraq might cause the Al-Qaida fighters to want to leave Syria.

McCain went there to tell them to fight on.

    Wonder what he promised them.

  5. What the hell is McCain thinking? Is the USA so pissed of that when they said Assad has to go, but is still hanging in there, that they don’t dive a darn which group they are going to stand by, just to try to oust Assad.
Even if that means to get involved with murderous groups who were at one time killing our troops in Iraq and Afghanistan and are still doing it in African nations?
Apparently McCain does not care when the Christian Syrians are getting murdered by the groups he supports. Just like what happened in the former Yugoslavia.
As long as the USA gets his way it doesn’t matter who gets killed.
Human rights and International law all thrown out of the window.
Is this opening the door to Iran and than to WWIII?
