The Irish storytelling DNA lives on
The Irish storytelling DNA lives on

Before there was the written word, we had only the spoken. Mankind has always had story tellers who became the cultural DNA of their societies. People have never really looked at it that way, but they should.

Why? Because even through the dark times, and the generation skipping ones when no one gave a hoot about the past, as times passed there were those with that DNA who emerged to carry forward what the others had not.

Even after the written word emerged with its new scribe class the ones the people cheered were those who delivered the spoken word as they brought that cultural DNA to life.

We are fortunate that the written work survives but the spoken word of the past has been lost to the ages…or has it?

The Internet some say is saturated with a gazillion ideas and opinions about everything imaginable, all of which theoretically have access to us if they have the cash and Google gives them the keys to our mental palaces.

We live in an information blur where absorption has become a challenge, similar to what the health folks say about vitamins and supplements…we take them in, but how much really sticks.

At Veterans Today we have been making our own contribution to having Intel DNA passed on so we don’t repeat mistakes of the past because no one even knows what the mistakes were. We have proved here and on Press TV that there is a huge audience for ‘dot connecting’ so they can focus their fighting back efforts better.

Snordster - An Irishman of course
Snordster – An Irishman of course

I am featuring a modern bard today who is making a unique contribution to passing on the magic of the spoken word and becoming a dot connector with his great talent…bringing the written word to life.

Snordster has a YouTube site with a million views, an audience built from combining his spoken and production talents with the fortunate writers upon whom he pleases to anoint with these blessings.

The result of what we call this in the media and PR business is leverage, or what military people call ‘force multiplier’. One and one is no longer two…but five, ten or twenty.

And if you don’t want to get lost in this Internet age of informational overload on the audience you need to have this mojo or your Internet career is a no go.

VT is always looking for emerging talent, and in this case a good bit beyond emerging. We are expecting to see a lot more innovative multimedia presentations from him, and will see if we might be able to do some things together.

I thought this new piece of his was perfect for a VT feature debut. Let me know what you think in the comments. We have come a long way from back when a group of Special Operations Officers started VT to have their own little gathering place to share stories. It eventually went public. Gordon Duff took over from them…and here we are today. Enjoy this is a full HD piece. I surely did.

  1. I knew of “Snordster” from sites done by Soren Dreier and Zen Gardner. [I understand that VT has a rule — no more than one link per post. Links to Soren Dreir and Zen Gardner easily available with minimal searching effort.]. What a set of pipes, indeed!

I welcome VT’s glomming onto Snordster’s work! Most remarkable to see the politically spiritual meet the spiritually political, so to speak. Fascinating to find the overlap of interest between the hard-nosed and hard-assed [is that euphemism permissible here?] here at VT and the spiritually sensitive, awakening crown at other sites that share talent, so to speak.

The following is my one permitted link — should this note pass through the adept editorhsip of Mr. Dean, who honored me with an e-mail correcting my previous sin (er, error.). I offer it as information to those who appreciate the Snordster’s work. I have no connection to any of the people I have referenced or linked to. Other than I count them as kindred souls. Blood brothers and sisters in combat. Now.

Thus, I have another hot tip for those of you looking for Truth among the very excellent intelligence (I suppose and so trust) here at VT: Ida Lawrence holds forth at, cross-posted where the Snordster was recognized long before VT noticed.

Let’s get together, folks! No need to differentiate where we’re in agreement. Momz tells truth that reconciles what we see and face with what we can and shall, we all hope, accomplish. Among us all, pooling our talents, we may yet pr4evail, outlasting this latest empire.

  2. LOL tell me about it,So very hard to refrain from offensive language when the protagonists are the most evil vile pathetic offense to humanity period.
Greed and murder are one and the same,You steal a country from it’s citizens you’ve killed them slowly and surely as you would’ve by blowing them away ,at least being shot is quick and somewhat more merciful than a painfully slow cancerous ending…When laws reflect this there may just be a bit of equality

  3. Great stuff. Nice to reminded that there is beauty in the world. Now, if we can just keep certain “people” from destroying it all……..

  4. My favorite Snordster is Slave. Look at the background video of a Mossad agent at work. Chilling, mesmerizing.

  5. He might be tone deaf but thats the best version of John Lennon’s Imagine
Hmm The Rosetta stone should be looked at more like complete and utter dribble the obfuscation device doing it’s job marvelously . Tell me who builds a dunny(Aussie slang for toilet) bigger than ya palace with no bloody door on it?? Our history is so neat isn’t it? All the knowledge burnt to the ground ,Wonder what could be reason to destroy then rewrite it your own way with god loving you only?Deceptive and a cunning long thought out plan ..Who’d run away into a desert carrying Gold with 10,000 near dead slaves.Beating the oppressive dictators with an Army in it’s backyard ,If we switch who has the Army suddenly it makes sense.Sudden Clarity, visible as the beast amongst us today . I’d bet both my nuts Hebrew and Sumerians are one and the same(big curly beards, give it away)and why they think they own Nile to Euphrates etc, They rolled into mud what Aswan has pressed into granite with a precision we still cannot match with computers. etc etc etc etc Most Egyptian “Writing” is copy cat graffiti much like tribes who build grass planes hoping you yanks come and give em stuff again. The biggest clue is Nature itself ,Original art is flawless and has every variety of bird, they even gave people animal heads to describe nature of that person ,not an actual dude with a head like a finch .To
badly scribbling circumcision on papyrus with vultures as the only bird left to draw, it’s all in the thumbs…

  6. I think he’s on the doo doo list at VT but it sounds like Anthony Lawson doing a deep voiced Irishman. Oops! 🙂

    • Don’t shoot the messenger, I found this interesting, it could be a load of crap, I don’t know, here is the link:

    • Yes…I had to fix. We are moving further down the list now from the F-bombs. We just want people to make their points like they were in front of an audience…because you are, here. We want the punch of the comment to be in it’s meaning…and not the colorful language. Maybe it’s just an old age thing that is happening to us.

    • I agree, I hired a German grandma to review my Internet comment s before I post them. 🙂 I will be careful.
