Mystery Bombing Runs Over Ukraine

Mystery Bombing Runs Over Ukraine

… by  Gordon Duff, VT Editor

Fighter bombers attacking civilian targets in Eastern Ukraine, flying with Ukrainian Air Force markings, have been traced to air bases in Romania, Moldova and Azerbaijan, armed and some perhaps piloted by Poles and even Israelis.

Canadian journalist, Geoffrey West, working with online “plane spotting” groups has identified combat aircraft flying “packages” over Ukrainian air space as taking off from NATO and other facilities.

“What I discovered on Thursday evening using the tracking website… that a number of ‘no call sign’ flights were detected in the Ukraine/Black Sea region. My friend observed one that appeared to land in Bucharest.  I observed one that appeared to land in Chisinau, Moldova.”

Others appeared to originate from what were believed to be abandoned air fields in Azerbaijan, facilities identified in 2012 by defectors from the Azerbaijani military, as Israeli bases to be used in an attack on Iran.

This is more than an attempt to avoid detection by Russian air defense radars capable of warning pro-Russian separatists opposing the Kiev junta.

This is a gross violation of international law, of national sovereignty of the nations involved and an unauthorized use of NATO military forces, some under the direct command of General Breedlove, in a clandestine terror war against civilians, many of them Russian passport holders.

This week, two SU25 fighter bombers were shot down over the Ukraine after dropping chemical weapons, white phosphorous bombs, on a small village in a predominantly pro-Russian region of eastern Ukraine.  There are even more curious and frightening aspects of this attack.

  • American news organization, MSNBC, referred to the attack, clearly a terrorist war crime, as a “task” in their reporting of the incident.
  • The weapons used not only parallel current attack in Gaza but the bombs dropped duplicate the Israeli chemical attacks in other ways as well.  The weapons themselves perform identically, as though they were manufactured in the same lot, American weapons.
  • The planes involved in the attack didn’t take off from Ukrainian bases but rather from Romania and were seen entering radar near an America air base.

MSNBC had been using radar-driven plane tracking websites to sell their version of the downing of flight MA17, one American military satellite imagery has debunked, not only based on the 25 mile debris field but imagery that identifies all missile operations in the region as controlled by the Kiev junta.

In fact, in a Pentagon briefing, it was suggested that junta air defense units may well have defected “and then defected back again,” explaining their bizarre hypothesis, more conspiracy theory.

NATO chemical weapon inventories

With reports of chemical weapon use against population centers in the Eastern Ukraine, available inventories of these illegal munitions and their locations are critical to understanding the threat.

The US maintains inventories of illegal chemical weapons around the world, some of them convenient for deployment against civilian targets in the Ukraine.  America’s current inventory of chemical weapons stored in Israel has been significantly depleted by that nation in its attacks on population centers in Gaza.

Other weapons storage centers are at Aviano Air Force Base in Italy, Camp Darby US Army Weapons Depot outside Pisa in Italy, on the British held Indian Ocean base on the Island of Diego Garcia and in forward deployment at MK Air Base in Romania.  From Stars and Stripes:

“’It’s an ideal location for us as far as capability,’ Maj. Gen. John O’Connor, commander of the 21st Theater Sustainment Command said in a recent interview with Stars and Stripes.

The U.S. had already constructed 85 buildings capable of supporting roughly 1,500 personnel at Mihail Kogalniceanu – or MK Air Base – for previous missions, O’Connor said.

Beginning in late December, elements of the 21st expanded the infrastructure to accommodate up to 2,000 transiting troops and 400 military personnel who run the operation.”

This facility, initially designated as a “stopover” for troops returning from Afghanistan, regularly sees huge C 17 cargo planes capable of carrying, not only weapons inventories but any American heavy weapons system.

More inventories of American weapons are in Azerbaijan, unloaded at the Georgian port of Poti by the USS Grapple in June of 2010 and transferred, according to sources in Georgia, by truck into Azerbaijan.

As US Senator John McCain could so very well tell us, were he so inclined, giving an enemy access to air attack “package” information, routes used for attack and withdrawal, can lead to losing planes.  While a prisoner in North Vietnam, McCain gave such information to the North Vietnamese in trade for special treatment.

According to US Army Colonel Earl Hopper (ret. Deceased), McCain’s information led to the shoot down of over 60 American aircraft by North Vietnamese gunners.  Similarly, with full knowledge of Ukrainian military bases, all of which are under direct radar observation by Russian defenses, bombing attacks on the Eastern Ukraine are far more risky than similar attacks on civilian targets perpetrated by Israeli jets on Gaza.

It would seem sensible to use bases outside Ukraine, particularly if advanced chemical weapons, fuel and maintenance and even pilots and planes were furnished by NATO and “others.”  Radar based evidence suggests specifically that this is being done.

What is not sensible, however, is the thinly veiled deception used to broaden the conflict in the Ukraine.  This week, General Dempsey, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the United States, while speaking at the ultra-conservative Aspen Institute, warned of how President Putin threatened to broaden the conflict in Europe through alleged use of Russian artillery in support of separatist forces.

Giving General Dempsey the benefit of the doubt, he may well be “out of the loop” on the fact that the United States aided by Poland, Romania, Moldova, Azerbaijan and Israel, the latter two not NATO members, has violated both international and American law, or so the evidence would indicate.

What’s in it for Azerbaijan? The situation is not different from Ukraine you could call it blackmail, but this would be uncharitable — simply a very small country trying to hold on a piece of real estate that they have hard time holding on to De facto Russia is allied to Armenia, and in the context of the war for Karabah, Abhazia, South Osetia, as well East Ukraine, the developments do not favor the Azeris in their quest for the integrity of their national borders. They tried to have the US involved as a counterweight, more or less by default; and they’ve been allowing Israel to use their airports for all the operations in the Middle East. So Azerbaijan was in it for a while. It is true that dealing with the US is act of stupidity, simply because the Americans are not trustworthy; they will do to Aliev what they did to Hussein in a blink of an eye; but what else is there to do?

A US airplane was chased by to russian fighters scrambling from the kaliningrad enclave over the baltic just after the crash of MH17. The plane asked fro permission to enter Swedish airspace but was denied entry. It entered anyway while the russian planes stopped at the boarder… No Swedish interception was performed even though this is standard also for Sweden’s best friends…
    Please solve this mystery…
It is out of the question that the crew where a afraid of being shot down in international airspace of the baltic… the only thing I could think of was if it was afraid of being identified … was it really a 777 ? the real MH17 ??? or was it not an american plane? Israeli?
The military mumbles that it was a large plane…maybe signal intelligence… but then why run desperately ???

      two other quick points
I think that area probably has some old animosities and such that could be stirred up
(if one wanted to make trouble)
And I believe it gets very cold there in winter, leaving me to wonder,
what will become of the IDPs and other refugees, given that winter is only months away.
It will take a mad scramble to batten the hatches and hoist up landlubbers
or a humanitarian disaster is very likely. (as is another cascade of desperate refugees.
So far it seems everyone is too busy shooting or running to batten or hoist.

About a week ago, I would say about 4 aircrafts flew over where I live (Miercurea-Ciuc, Harghita County, Romania) at night, it was dark, I didnt bother to go to the balcony to check. It was unusual nonetheless, its either ‘Ukraine’ or a military exercise. I suppose they donát exclude each other at this point.

After all the ease of Israel getting 100% of legislators sort of pushes past the odds. Those other trade agreements are eerily silent. They have a way of making up illegal laws.

I heard that the team of investigators went to the site (recently, maybe today)
and shelling broke out soon after they arrived (in spite of the ‘safe zone’)
and so they had to make it quick and get out of Dodge.
So here we are long after, and somebody seems interested in making sure
that nobody is too comfy poking around that crash site. I wonder why?

Fighter bombers piloted by Israeli over Eastern Ukraine? Really? The first thing that comes to my mind maybe one of them was the one who downed flight MH17. They have a strong motive retaliation for the Malaysian support for Hamas

    • stephanaugust  August 3, 2014 at 12:47 am

I heard they were trained to dig wind tunnels.

  9. CoJonesGrandes  August 2, 2014 at 1:02 pm

I’ve asked for these bombers (with their bombs) to crash on the bases they came from. There’s no guarantee that’ll happen but if it only needs for someone to put in such a request, then I’ve done so.

    • jmreeves  August 5, 2014 at 12:15 am

Letters I’ve written, never meaning to send? (Moody Blues)
I post requests too, to the ‘great beyond’ hoping that the editors
will delete it if I sinned in haste.
I do at least 9 positive ones for any negative, and mostly no negative.
If I can’t ask for something nice, I don’t ask for anything at all.
Just my approach, lot of ways to do things.

    Lockerbie was completely different

    > If it’s a catastrophic structural failure at cruising altitude
the cause is immaterial. It could be a SAM, a bomb or a hundred
other reasons, but the spread of debris from that height will
    still be the same.

For PanAm 103, the bomb made a small hole in the fuselage,
breaking off the nose cone and an engine. The bulk of the plane
continued intact until the plane reached 19,000 feet, at which
point it went vertical. The main parts of the fuselage were
    within 2.4 km.

If this plane was hit mid-section by a SA-11 missile with a 70kg
fragmentation high explosive warhead (as claimed), I would
imagine glide of any kind would be highly improbable, and debris
would therefore be far more concentrated.

[rolan] additionally, [retired Col. Bernd Biedermann] the
*fragments* would also [Buk-missiles] have had such a kinetic
energy to set the aircraft on fire instantly.

    • rolan  August 2, 2014 at 12:58 pm

Ergo, MH17 NOT destroyed at 10 km altitude! [Russian] description
of aircraft having right engine [BTW, right!… which a *coincidence*]
hit/damaged from an AAM; managing to keep flying; making an u-turn
      left [captain sits on the left; turning left + flaps/nose going up whatever;
who sits on the right has less visibility when situation likely not much
of the kind *instrumental flight*]; losing altitude and speed; Su-25
intercepting MH17 O( minutes ) later becoming increasingly REALISTIC!

    • stephanaugust  August 2, 2014 at 1:10 pm

      It is an insurance scam.

    • rolan  August 3, 2014 at 7:33 am

      http //

[… T]he Government’s Pan Am 103 dogma states that the doomed
aircraft blew up at high altitude and fell to pieces over
      Lockerbie. Pretty straightforward stuff.

      Except it isn’t.

Eyewitness accounts of the Boeing 747‘s final moments suggest the
crew were in control of the aircraft at low altitude, a fact
that, if established, totally destroys the carefully maintained
but bankrupt fiction of the events that support the Crown’s case
      against Abdelbaset Al Megrahi.

The issue was probed during the Zeist trial, albeit from a
carefully selected group of witnesses for whom this matter was
strictly ancillary to the key aspects of their evidence. But
testimony nevertheless given by them supports the proposition
that the plane may have been intact and under control at low
level before being destroyed by the final explosions which broke
      the aircraft apart […]

    • jmreeves  August 4, 2014 at 9:22 pm

This one strikes me as a multipurpose manufactured thingy yet to be inventoried.
It would not be the least bit reachy to consider insurance fraud,
good call, remember WTC for example.
Some people can afford airliners, I could not feed one.
People commit fraud (albeit much stupider people)
for incredibly small amounts of money
Also for large ones, sometimes as only a part of a larger scheme.

    • rolan  August 2, 2014 at 1:11 pm

“Right”… MH17, on which side where were Black Sea, Georgia,
etc. situated? [Thinking at an AAM flying at Mach 2+]

    • jmreeves  August 4, 2014 at 9:28 pm

Ok I will just say it,
It looks from here (and I am far away) like that aircraft was downed
by air to air fire and / or internal explosives.
(ergo the extremely large debris field)
I am not a crash site expert, or much else.
So please accept this as one mans opinion
(since everybody seems beating about the bush! (not necessarily here, but in general

And yet, nothing from Russia on this? Presumably, Russia is poised to track attack planes as they lift off from said countries, Romania especially, as the Black Sea fleet is nearby. One has to ask why weren’t the Separatist forewarned? Why Russian silence?

It seems that we are entering the golden high level stage of false flag dollar saving operation. US are indispensable as Barack says, but US are not indispensable at the cost of fifty other countries, and make sure that England as the mother op of US orchestra will be the last to offer help. US will be left to maybe few Christian based countries that nowadays US is stealing from.

  16. brubank-guy  August 2, 2014 at 10:33 am

The Ukraine conflict increasingly reminds me of the tragic civil war in little Sri Lanka, how big majority-Hindu India promised to protect the minority Hindu Tamils of Sri Lanka, against the oppressive Sinhalese Buddhist majority … India at first supplying their Hindu brothers with limited military support – like Russia in Ukraine – but eventually letting them to be destroyed and vanquished, despite how India – like Russia – could have won the war within hours. Just today, retired Indian Ambassador M K Bhadrakumar wrote “We assured the Sri Lankan Tamils that India is and will be forever the guide and the guardian of their interests, but we repeatedly failed them when they were being taken to the abattoir.”

    • Curmudgeon  August 4, 2014 at 8:26 am

A somewhat different situation exists in Ukraine.
      – The land mass is contiguous, not an island 50 miles away.
      – Russians and Ukrainians, in spite of political differences have a long, intertwined history and little religious or other differences at the “people” level.
      – The Tamils were “foreign” to Sri Lanka and, like some other groups, worked to be separate from the rest of the population. The Sinhalese culture was markedly different from Indian culture.

  17. Ann  August 2, 2014 at 10:28 am

Cui bono–what’s in it for Azerbaijan? Aside from certain disaster, that is. They have really been sold a bad bill of goods. They have to be crazy to cut a military deal with West so close to Russia in the midst of a conflict that directly affects the Russians.
