Obama: It’s Time to Reassess Our Special Relationship With Israel

obama-netanyahuObama seems to be taking America’s so-called special relationship with Israel to a new level, and it doesn’t seem to be good for Netanyahu, who actually used blatant racism during his reelection.[1]

Obama himself took like an eternity to congratulate Netanyahu on his reelection, but that congratulation came with a warning. It has been reported that

President Barack Obama told Benjamin Netanyahu on Thursday that Washington would ‘reassess’ its options on U.S.-Israel relations and Middle East diplomacy after the Israeli prime minister took a position against Palestinian statehood during his re-election campaign, a White House official said.

“The White House, unmoved by Netanyahu’s effort to backtrack, delivered a fresh rebuke against him on Thursday and signaled that Washington may reconsider its decades-old policy of shielding close ally Israel from international pressure at the United Nations.”

White House officials even called Netanyahu’s tactic or strategy “cynical.”

This is certainly not good for the Zionist machine, and Neo-Bolsheviks such as John Podhoretz know this. Podhoretz has recently said that “the crisis has exploded.”[2] Jewish Neocons such as Joseph Klein are so frightened that they think Obama is going to “unleashed the UN on Israel.”[3] Zionist puppets such as Rick Perry are already “alarmed” that Obama will no longer back Israel at the United Nations.[4]

If the administration suspends their support for Israel, that certainly would be a great leap forward precisely because the Israeli regime continues to show its true colors. A senior White House official declared that

“We are now in a reality where the Israeli government no longer supports direct negotiations. Therefore we clearly have to factor that into our decisions going forward.”[5]

“Daniel Levy, a former Israeli peace negotiator who is now the head of the Middle East and North Africa program at the European Council on Foreign Relations, warned that the administration’s patience was growing thin.

“‘What the Obama administration is saying is that, ‘Yes, we’re still committed to you,’ Mr. Levy said. ‘But if you don’t give us something to work with, we can’t continue to carry the rest of the world for you.’”[6]

The conclusion here is pretty simple. No one now doubts that the Obama administration has serious problem with the Israeli regime. Newsweek for example now admits that there is a “toxic” relationship between Obama and Netanyahu.[7] In the same vein, USA Today says that the relationship could get worse.[8]

In other words, whenever Netanyahu gets weird or whenever he is on his regular psychopathic plane, he is basically shooting himself and the Zionist movement in the toes. This is why Palestinian journalists like Daoud Kuttab can say that the “world no longer bound to defend Israel internationally.”[9] Some writers are even saying that “The ‘special relationship’ will never be the same.”[10]

Let us hope that Obama continues to challenge the mad man in Tel Aviv. What we can say at this present moment is that things are moving forward, and progress has certainly been made–though on a minor scale. A decade ago, no administration or serious U.S. official would challenge the Israeli regime publicly.  This has changed greatly, thanks to Netanyahu’s persistent and psychopathic behavior, which has caused huge reactions all over the Western world and beyond. Obama declared,

“We take him at his word when he said that it [the two-state solution] wouldn’t happen during his prime ministership, and so that’s why we’ve got to evaluate what other options are available to make sure that we don’t see a chaotic situation in the region.”

The Huffington Post tells us: “Though [Obama] pledged to keep working with the Israeli government on military and intelligence operations, Obama declined to say whether the United States would continue to block Palestinian efforts to secure statehood through the United Nations. In a phone conversation the two had on Thursday, he said he indicated to Netanyahu that ‘it is going to be hard to find a path where people are seriously believing that negotiations are possible.'”

Just recently, the New York Times itself has admitted that “White House antagonism toward Netanyahu grows.” In another article, we read that “Netanyahu tactic angers many U.S. Jews, deepening a divide.” The Week has produced a very confrontational article entitled, “Why It’s Time for Obama to Cut Off America’s Subsidies to Israel.” The article argued:

“But now, despite some shameless backtracking, it’s clear that Netanyahu is, at best, an unreliable partner for peace, if not an outright foe of an independent Palestine. As many have pointed out, the divergence of U.S. and Israeli interests has never been more pronounced, and the big question is how the U.S. should adjust.

“While the Obama administration has indicated it may support a United Nations resolution calling for an independent Palestine along 1967 borders, it should go even further: by cutting the U.S.’s massive subsidies to Israel and withdrawing diplomatic cover for Netanyahu’s every move.

“Of course, unquestioning deference to Israeli priorities is still essentially mandatory in U.S. politics — even Sen. Elizabeth Warren doesn’t challenge them. But if the Israeli prime minister is flat-out admitting that the West Bank and Gaza will never be rid of the occupation no matter what, then that deference will eventually become untenable…

“Withdrawing aid would be a symbolic act, and a powerful one at that, likely producing a screaming emergency in Israeli politics. Without an unquestioning American backstop, Israel would be almost as isolated diplomatically as Iran.”

Saying things like that would have been almost impossible a decade ago. Let us hope that he will send the psychopath a message to this effect:

“Sir, you have literally humiliated the American people, and you have been doing so for years. We have given you three billion dollars every year, and what we get in return is complete dishonesty, disloyalty and humiliation.

“What is so disgusting and repugnant is that the United States government has tried very hard to maintain or build a balanced relationship with the Palestinians, and now you come along and make the bizarre statement that you are not interested in the two-state solution.

“What is equally weird is that you have literally used racism in saying that ‘Arab voters are coming out in droves to the polls.’ Even the Jewish Daily Forward admitted that you are ‘perfectly happy to win an election using racism.’

“What if a presidential contender in America even approaches such a language? You know what would have happened to that mush-head? He would have been buried beneath the avalanche of Jewish lava?”[11]

“Sir, how can you really say that you want peace when your words and deeds prove otherwise? How can you really say that you want to build a friendly relationship in the Middle East when in fact you want war and bloodshed?

“If you deny this, why, then, did you lambaste me during your speech in Congress for trying to reach a deal with the Iranians, who, according to the Mossad, are ‘rational people’? And how is it that some quasi-neoconservative magazines are saying that Iran has become ‘the Middle East moderate force’? [12]

“Furthermore, why did you unashamedly say that ‘America is a thing you can move very easily, move it in the right direction. They won’t get their way’? Do you really think that we are just puppets that you can manipulate at will? If that is so, then I do not appreciate  that.

“Once again, we have to reiterate that Robert Gates was on to something when he said that Israel is an ‘ungrateful ally.’ If you think that Gates was wrong, then please prove him wrong through your actions. If not, then we will have to reassess our relationship. You will be alone during special meetings at the United Nations. Keep that thought in mind.”

  1. “” the devils have to organise a huge human sacrifice to rekindle the spell, “”

    Roger that .

  2. The Zionist Jews are so arrogant, they believe that they will get away with it still. After all, when in history have Jewish supremacists really been punished for their actions?

  3. If Obama is bad, what are the Republicans going to give us in 2016 – Jeb Bush in a rigged election? If so, a revolution (peaceful or not) is our only hope.

  4. Bibi just countered by having zionist tool and 911 Bag Man, Alvin K. Hellerstein, senior judge of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, order the release of the child rape detainee photos from Abu Gahraib.
Those should be worth a veto or two at the U.N.!

  5. Iran is fighting ISIS with boots on the ground and weapons.

Israel is providing medical care for ISIS and/or its affiliates. Knowing the Zionists, they’re probably selling ISIS weapons as well.

    So…EXACTLY…who is the enemy here?

  6. The time has come for all patriotic Americans to reassess our relationship with our own government and this president. Like Howie J writes below about our nation, “…The U.S will be relegated to a not very flattering footnote in history.” This man is the “terror” We the People… are constantly being distracted from realizing. They tell us of ISIS coming across our borders yet Oblunder wants our weapons. He incessantly flaunts his disdain for taxpaying citizens, while taking from them to support the undocumented and thus illegal people crossing our borders expecting Oblunder’s handouts, and he gives them. He is NOT our friend. NOT trustworthy. NOT patriotic. Not preserving protecting and defending this nation as he has sworn under oath to do. He is nothing but a traitor to us and this nation. So, “When, in the course of recent human events, it becomes necessary for the People to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another…” T’is not ISIS nor Al Qaeda, nor Russia that pose the gravest danger. But a man we don’t know, we can truly call a stranger.

    • All presidents lie to some degree. Understood. But when they mislead the American people off who they draw their sustenance, to get costly major bills passed, it harms lives and creates problems for many. W. lied about Iraq and WMD’s. Clinton lied about the wonders of GATT, and NAFTA. Bif time traitor GHW lied about the new world order’s “rule of law not the law of the jungle, and his read my lips “no new taxes.” Nixon lied repetitively and was paranoid about his involvement in, and knowledge of the JFK assassination. Johnson lost track of the truth during his youth. Ford, Carter, Reagan all lied. But this guy is a true professional. A pedigreed chameleon, but without papers.

  7. It is hard to believe that this racist little chicken-hawk can get away with a fraction of what he does.

The U.S is the laughing stock of the world right now, And if someone doesn’t clean house soon, The U.S will be relegated to a not very flattering footnote in history.

Apart from all the patriots at VT, Almost nobody dares to speak up about this travesty.

    God bless you all.

  8. Last time a President wanted to break off the special relationship (I think it was Clinton regarding Great Britain) we saw a political and media “sudden death” with Monica Levinsky coming out being applied. On Israel issue – there is little doubt that Israelnot recognizing Palestine is threatening the very existence of the United Nations which is one of the structural bloodlines of the anglo-american imperialism. But that is going on for over decades now. And Bibi everyone knows is not that likeable character worldwide, even among Jews. Why would Obama have a moral breakthrough just now over Palestine? My best guess is that there is a presentable really big bucks opportunity with Iranian nuclear energy (not weapons) development and Obama is attempting to score it sooner than later. Especially with the Bush/Clinton candidacy fast approaching. Hence the public disagreement with Israeli government. But that is just my shot in the dark.
