French ask for return of accused conspirators

Presidential Palace, Damascus, Syria

Presidential Palace, Damascus, Syria

By Nahed al Husaini and Gordon Duff

Two French nationals along with Syrian Kurds were arrested in a bizarre attempt on the life if Bashar al Assad, President of Syria.  The French government has already contacted Damascus through direct channels asking for the return of those arrested.  The French indicate they are willing to enter into negotiations for the return of the captive accused assassins.

The alleged conspirators are said to have been working with a Kurdish terror cell that had penetrated the household staff of Assad.  The Kurds had planted explosives inside detergent containers at the presidential palace south of Damascus.  The attack was not successful.

The French security officers arrested had been in Syria earlier as part of a secret combined French/Syrian task force on terrorism. Two French intelligence officers who were smuggled across the border into Syria by Al Nusra militants south of Qalamoun, scene of an intense battle that has raged for weeks.

Their previous visit to Damascus earlier this year was a secret mission that accompanied the French delegation during their Febrary 27, 2015 visit.  The official reason for the visit was to arrange for the reopening of the French embassy which had been closed since 2012.

Syrian officials speaking anonymously say that the Damascus government believes the would be assassins are part of a Kurdish faction trained inside Jordan.  The explosives used were from the Royal Jordanian Army.

Please explain why there has been no mention of this attempt on al-assad’s life? Not within the cmsm, however also not anywhere I can discover in the blogosphere? And quite surprisingly no mention in Russian media or blogs’.

Because american people are used to judge world events in other countries by concepts of “all mighty force” of the US military, only a few ones would dare to even think about other players. This time – and we should be thankfull for all intel so far – there is a change in directory and tools.

    1. Israel is currently using other, more reliable “partners” like France to reach their aim.
    2. The US, from top to bottom – especially in the government and parts of the military – is deeply divided, when it comes to foreign policy. I am no intel person at all, but I have a tendency to smell things, which are in the coming. The war-fraction around our well known suspects tries to solve the Syrian “problem” directly through killing. France is the patsie his time, a special kurdish fraction (there are at least 3 big fractions) is working on their behalf.
    3. The rest (other countries) stay totally calm, not a single word or news about this plot – forbidden, by any means, until this plot is settled. If Gordon is right, it already failed and that is good news.

Thank you Gordon, for important information in critical times.

A faction is just a fraction of the whole. And what would we Americans do without internet bloggers to tell us what we are thinking and how stupid we are? I wouldn’t know what to think at all if it weren’t for the bloggers who can read my mind. All this conjecture about what Americans are thinking is just that, conjecture. Our media is completely controlled, so let’s face it, no one, and I do mean no one really knows what the American people are thinking or doing. As the world steals our technology and industry, our internet is used to discuss how stupid we supposedly are. Perhaps that is wishful thinking. Who has the courage to wake the sleeping turtle that is America? Who will give us the reason to rally? We’re divided it’s true, divided into factions and multiple fractions but there are some common denominators. As long as the complete censorship of our media remains in place, no one knows what we are thinking. We are under attack, no doubt, but it’s an attack by cowards who hide behind Bushes and shoot at women and children. It’s an attack by people who would lose in a real combat situation and they know it. They hope that we’ll never figure out that we are being attacked, but that is a vain hope if ever I saw one.

Qalamoun is where mossad intel operates, thus, the French connection is weak, I would say after the hebdodo fiasco, it is safe to consider that the fries are a front op. to save the the Israeli intel officers, Syria should hang them for their treasons and make an example for their next opts.

“French Roast” has a new meaning. “You want fries with that?”

Yea, and we’ll send those guys back, immediately, you’ll just have to re-assemble them when they get there..

This is where VT supersedes mosy other news services! There is very little immediate information access elsewhere for We The People to this kind of breaking news. And how “the plot thickens” with the French & its “cohorts”.

Serenity, We are not a news service. We do what we can because we have some abilities, because corporate media is in the bag on so much of this, and Atl media is joining them as it gets compromised in a variety of ways. The public is left with a manure truck keeping it up to date on things. We get material like this in appreciate for doing things no one else would do, and because they know we have a corporate media black out on us here.

    • Serenity  May 16, 2015 at 7:22 pm

Jim, Thank you, I stand corrected. However, your ability to gather crucial information from varied sources leaves VT readers with added resources in their search for the truth of what’s really going on, despite ” the truckload of manure” dumped regularly by the MSM on a dumbed-down public…

    • Jim W. Dean, Managing Editor  May 16, 2015 at 9:14 pm

It’s worse than being dumbed down. Many don’t even want to know as they know you would then try to get them to do something about it, which they have no intention. This includes a lot of people “serving their country” (in return for a paycheck and benefits).

    • cynthiamaccioli  May 18, 2015 at 11:05 am

Serenity, I agree with Dean. To say Americans are dumbed down is a given. Just look at our education system which the MSM enforces. My concern is with everyday folks who flat- out don’t give a shit. I accept that these people look at me like I’m crazy, so be it, but when I get into the meat and potatoes of a situation (like the Ukraine which I thoroughly understand) thanks to the VT analysis and others, the silence bomb drops.
It takes very little commentary on my part for them to throw their arms up in surrender and say they really don’t care. “But these people are also poisoning your food, water, air and health and your children etc” is what I say, to wit they respond “Well, ya gotta die of something”. With mouth agape in a catatonic trance I just can’t believe the apathy of the Americans that cross my path. I just hope this isn’t indicative of the majority.
