Russia’s president took part in a training session with the national judo team.
Never the one to shy away from martial arts events, Russia’s President Vladimir Putin took part in a training session with the national judo team at the Black Sea resort city of Sochi.
Having sparred with the team’s coach, he then took on several challenges.
Vladimir Putin has been studying martial arts since he turned 11. He earned the title of the Master of Sports in both judo and sambo, and is also an 8th dan black belt in Kyokushin-kan karate.
