Sarkozy: No Place for Turkey in EU, Russia More European

French right-wing opposition Les Republicains (LR) party President Nicolas Sarkozy gestures as he delivers a speech during a campaign rally in support of candidate for the upcoming regional elections in the Normandy region, Herve Morin, on November 30, 2015 in Rouen, northwestern France

The prospect of Turkey joining the European Union makes no sense, former French president Nicolas Sarkozy said in an interview with iTele TV channel.

“Turkey is in Asia Minor. It’s a great country, a great civilization, but it is also a bridge between Asia and Europe. There is no place for it, this is something I have always said and it makes a lot of sense. Don’t get me wrong: I have nothing against Turks, we need them, they are our NATO allies,” Nicolas Sarkozy said.

He added, however, that “when we start explaining to our schoolchildren that Turkey is Europe, then we’ll have to add that European borders run across Syria. This just makes no sense.”The EU is a union of European states. Even geographically Turkey is only partly in Europe, Sarkozy pointed out.

“I don’t think that historically, culturally and economically Turkey can be considered a 100-percent European country,” he added.

He also said that anyone who says that Turkey is a European country wants the end of the EU.

“Speaking of Turkey joining the European Union, let me tell you that Russia is way more European than Turkey,” Nicolas Sarkozy noted.

    Mr. GPD __
 I have seen (2 or 3), “The Good, The Bad & The Ugly of World Leaders” on the World Stage, in my life time, but I have never seen so many Clueless Leaders.
 Sarkozy is CORRECT, even a child knows that there are (7) Continents: African, Asia, Europe, North America, South America, Oceania & Antarctica (No Permanent Population, except for Scientists & Tourists) TURKEY IS IN ASIA.
 If we accept Turkey, we have to do the same for others.
 Sarkozy made the same argument about Turkey, many time in
the past, where everyone agreed including Germany & others.
 He tried to defend why Turkey is part of NATO & it’s because it has the
2nd largest Military, USA being the 1st.
 He also, negotiated very hard with Russia and Georgia & avoided War.
 Until, the “Algerian Born Zionist, Israeli-French Bernard Levy who Blackmailed Nicolas Sarkozy & Started THE LIBYAN WAR, with the help of John McCain, Lindsey Graham, Hilary Clinton, Susan Rice & Samantha Power, I used to say, Sarkozy is a SMART LEADER.

Let us be reminded once again of who is the stinking rabbit of Europe and the EU: “British Prime Minister Tony Blair has expressed his delight at bringing the deal for Turkey’s entry into the EU a step closer. He described Turkey’s entry as of “fundamental importance” to the peace and security of the world.

Agreeing the commencement date for entry talks was a “hugely important and welcome start”, the Prime Minister said.

“Turkey’s membership of the European Union is fundamental to the future peace and security of Britain, Europe and the wider world,” he added.

Blair was pivotal in securing the timetable for the predominantly Muslim nation to join the European Union. On Monday he made a statement which put forward the points for Turkey’s entry and outlined the meaning of the situation to Britain and Europe as a whole. 22 December 2004 “

And even the most adept propagandist must hide his objective within empirical truths. Sarkozy is on record calling for the forced miscegenation of the European people if they won’t accept it peaceably, in accordance with the Kalergi plan, and no words coming from the mouth of this snake in the grass can have other than a subversive intent, even if it’s somewhat obscure at this point. Possibly this is an oblique opening salvo to entice Russia with talk of renewed cooperation to open its borders, too, and invite in the genocide Sarkozy and his ilk intend on inflicting on the Europe they thought they’d finished off in two world wars.
