Some 72% of Israelis feel their government is corrupt

A considerable number of occupied Palestinian territory inhabitants believe their official authorities are corrupt and criticize them. Some 92% believe connections are preferred to criteria.

The results of the survey published in Friday statistics on (Jan 8) revealed some 72% of Israelis believe their country suffers from rampant corruption. Based on this data survey, residents of occupied lands feel ashamed of the deep corruption of their regime.

During recent months Israeli media has been full of moral and financial corruption of Israeli officials and military officers. Another statistics another on Thursday (Jan 7) published on Israeli TV channel 2 show that approximately 16.9% of respondents believe Israel is a very corrupt country while some 55.7 percent believe it is almost corrupt.



The statistics provided by Migdam institute shows that people are disappointed and disillusioned by elected officials as well as judges in courts of justice. According to 58% of participants in the survey, judges are not competent and are often corrupt. Most of the people believe believed for having a good life in Israel you must have links with the authorities in power and a total of 92% of people feel that, in the land of Israel, connections are preferred to criteria.

Moral corruption of Silvan Shalom, Minister of Internal Affairs and Deputy Prime Minister of Israel that was publicized at the end of 2015and led to his resignation, financial and moral corruption of the former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, the moral corruption of the Justice Minister of Ehud Olmert’s cabinet, suspicion of former Israeli Foreign Minister Lieberman to bribery and money laundering etc. are some corruption cases of regime Israeli officials and its continuation has led to people’s recent loss of confidence to their leaders.
