
What: On Monday, May 30, 2016, more than 2,000 runners and walkers of all ages will honor the soldiers and veterans in their lives at the 6th Annual New Directions for Veterans Memorial Day 5K Run/Walk. Fox 11 Evening News Anchor Christine Devine will emcee the event, which raises funds to help homeless and at-risk veterans and their families in LA County. The Memorial Day 5K will take place on the sprawling West Los Angeles VA Campus and feature energy-pumping music, lively group exercises, and an Expo Festival which features local and corporate exhibitors. Event sponsors include Bank of America, SoCal Gas and Boston Scientific.
