Wednesday, June 1, 2016—The former Qatari Emir Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani in an interview with Kuwaiti ALAAN Online Newspaper warned Arab countries regarding the Saudi insidious agenda of building its civilization on the dead body of Arab people.
“Up until this day, the Arab world did not witness internecine warfare but it has been for two years that Saudi Arabia sought to impose its hegemony whiting the Arab world,” the Kuwaiti newspaper quoted the former Qatari monarch as saying, adding, Saudi regime try to impose its illegitimate will upon the Arab people by killing our Arab brethren and violating the sovereignty of Yemeni nation.
Due to Saudi inexperienced military plans, added Sheikh Hamad, compounded with the reckless haste of certain military commanders, the GCC countries had to kick off extensive security measures to face the serious repercussions of Riyadh’s military conquests in the Middle-East region.
“If Arab people do not unite to tackle Saudi aggression nothing will remain from our Arab identity,” the former Qatari Emir warned the Arab countries.
Sheikh Hamad’s unprecedented remarks came as the former Qatar foreign minister Hamad bin Jassim in an interview with Financial Times exposed the mischievous Saudi role in exacerbating the Syrian crisis with Washington’s green light. These comments evince the dangerous schism between Saudi ruling regime and other Arab leaders.
