LOS ANGELES – Last Sunday was the second day of competition at the 2016 Summer Olympic Games being hosted in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Instead of watching the Olympic Games in the comfort of his home like everyone else, Ted Hayes,” Mr. Patriot,” attended the 438th consecutive Sunday Rally of the Veterans Revolution to “Save Our Veterans Land” and to “Bring Our Homeless Veterans HOME.”
While American Flags were being hoisted and celebrated in honor of our Olympic Team representing the United States, Mr. Patriot was hoisting his own American Flag outside the Los Angles National Veterans Home in honor of the men and women who have defended our Nation’s Colors for more than two-and-a-half centuries.

Many are unaware that Mr. Patriot’s daughter, Joanna Hayes, is a U.S. Olympic Gold-Medalist, having won the 100 meter hurdles at the 2004 Summer Games in Athens.
This is truly a remarkable feat as Joanna was competing against the very best female athletes in the world where hundredths-of-a-second can mean the difference of winning a Gold medal or no medal at all.
Joanna Hayes celebrates her Olympic Gold-Medal victory in the 100 meter hurdles at the 2004 Summer Games in Athens.
The fact that on Sunday, Mr. Patriot chose to display his American Flag in honor of our Veterans who have served in every war since the American Revolutionary War instead of watching the Olympic Games is a telling sign of Ted’s authenticity as a true American Patriot who is grateful to those who wear our Nation’s Uniform.
Ted is not a Military Veteran.
Ted’s late heroic father was a decorated U.S. Army Combat Veteran of World War II and the Korean War.
Ted’s daughter is a decorated U.S. Olympic champion.
On Sunday, Ted chose to proudly honor our U.S. Military Veterans who have defended our nation’s unparalleled way of life with his American Flag.
That is All-American Patriotism at its best while the so-called leadership of the VA have proven to be the worst with their anti-Americanism agenda.
Ted Hayes’ Patriotism toward honoring our U.S. Military Veterans and the American Flag they defended is unequaled.
Ted has been a loyal Citizen Soldier of the Veterans Revolution since the very first peaceful Sunday Rally on March 9, 2008, (his birthday).
This past Sunday, just minutes after Mr. Patriot proudly displayed his American Flag, armed VA police officer Morales (Badge #4523 ) came outside and illegally seized it. Mark Gavin, a Vietnam Veteran (in the middle in black and red shirt) was legally videotaping this illegal activity that was ordered by VA bureaucrats.
Shortly after the illegal seizure of Mr. Patriot’s American Flag, armed VA police officer Reyes (Badge #4250 ) arrived and aggressively attacked Mark Gavin while he was photographing this illegal activity and he used excessive force taking Mark to the ground with the assistance of officer Morales. They roughed up Mark, drew blood on his face, handcuffed him, confiscated his camera and took him into custody at the VA police headquarters.
Here VA Police Officers Morales and Reyes are seen issuing previous illegal criminal arrest citations for displaying the American Flag, and those falsified citations have been “Dismissed” in Federal Court and the Defendants (elderly Veterans) were adjudicated: “Acquitted.”
Sunday these same two VA police officers savagely attacked an elderly Veteran who was legally photographing the VA’s continued illegal activity of disparaging the American Flag by declaring that It is a “placard, hand bill, pamphlet and / or a flyer.”
Mr. Patriot and I captured video footage of this illegal and barbaric assault on an innocent elderly Veteran. These videos are being kept confidential for now, adding to the mounting evidence against the out-of-control illegal activity of VA police brutality, perpetrated by their bureaucratic superiors – VA gangsters.
The Los Angeles VA police routinely discriminate against elderly Veterans, particularly the Old Veterans Guard, because we are the major whistleblower exposing rampant land fraud, crime and corruption inside the VA. Now, the VA gangsters are committing additional crime and corruption outside the VA by making a mockery of the American Flag and those who have defended It.
Why is there such a hatred toward the American Flag by the Department of Veterans Affairs?
Moreover, these are not just illegal physical assaults on elderly Military Veterans and Citizen Soldiers, but also illegal assaults on their U.S. Constitutional Rights, violating their Civil and Human Rights.
Over the past nine months, nearly 20 illegal arrest citations have been issued against six elderly Military Veterans and Citizen Soldiers for displaying the American Flag on a public forum and these falsified citations have been subsequently adjudicated in Federal Court as “Dismissed” and the Defendants “Acquitted”.
The Los Angeles VA police operate illegally under the color of law and they must be charged, indicted and prosecuted accordingly. They claim they’re “just following orders.” If they want to fall on their swords to protect these evil mongers who violate their pledged oath of office to support and defend the U.S. Constitution, then they will have to suffer the legal and just consequences on behalf of these corrupt and criminal gangster bureaucrats. Why the VA police won’t collectively blow the whistle on these corrupt gangsters is beyond comprehension.
While the vast majority were sitting at home watching the Olympic Games, the proud father of an Olympic Gold-Medalist was being arrested for proudly displaying his American Flag in honor of America’s Military Veterans.
Ted Hayes exemplifies all that is good about American Patriotism and the VA police and gangster bureaucrats embody all that is the worst in public service on behalf of “We the People.”
Fellow Americans: Demand the immediate firing of VA Secretary Robert A. McDonald, Los Angeles VA executive director Ann Brown, and her chief of police, Charles Leas.
