Sunday Roadtrip, VT in Lebanon Video EXtravaGanZa

[Editor’s Note: Gordon is just joking about Saigon as the Arabs don’t pass very well. This is the second day of the Damascus Counter Terrorism Conference where we are with an international crew going to the “Terrorism Court”, which they actually stopped everything for to give us a tour and briefings.

It was the classic case of what you and learn only by going there, meeting the people and being allowed to ask whatever you want. One of the first questions was how in the West this court was being called a Kangaroo Court, to which the chief judge replied that 35% of the cases were being dismissed at the first hearing for lack of evidence, something that never happens in a Kangaroo court.

Here is the group photo we have, a rare one with me in is as I am usually shooting. The highlight of this trip was by a fluke I happened to be in exactly the right spot when Gordon gave his infamous “how the world really works” presentation…no notes needed.
