In this Manhattan gathering I examine the ideologies that were set to divide the  working people and their ability to resist Globalization. I point at the bond between the New Left and Jewish progressive intelligentsia.

Those who are interested in my work may find this talk very interesting.

Author Details
Gilad Atzmon is an Israeli-born British jazz saxophonist, novelist, political activist and writer.

Atzmon’s album Exile was BBC jazz album of the year in 2003. Playing over 100 dates a year,[4] he has been called “surely the hardest-gigging man in British jazz.” His albums, of which he has recorded nine to date, often explore the music of the Middle East and political themes. He has described himself as a “devoted political artist.” He supports the Palestinian right of return and the one-state solution in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

His criticisms of Zionism, Jewish identity, and Judaism, as well as his controversial views on The Holocaust and Jewish history, have led to allegations of antisemitism from both Zionists and anti-Zionists. A profile in The Guardian in 2009 which described Atzmon as “one of London’s finest saxophonists” stated: “It is Atzmon’s blunt anti-Zionism rather than the music that has given him an international profile, particularly in the Arab world, where his essays are widely read.”

His new book The Wandering Who? is now available at Amazon.com

  1. Wow, I think this might be the first time I feel I understand how the identity politics undermines national unity and why some try to propagate it. Watched it all. Thanks Gilad.

    • Yes Edward, I tend to agree. Of course there are a lot of things happening out there and many feel confused, and some commentary is just more of that confusion. But some people understand what is important in that complexity – then they have two choices. Either they keep their understanding to themselves, in a kind of narcissistic god-complex, where only they matter. Or they share their understanding and insights that have the effect of simplifying that complexity for those who are struggling to work it out. Separating the wheat from the chaff. I think Gilad is good at identifying the drivers of events rather than the results. That’s what gave me the “aha” moments. Like the simple insight that the nations’ economic structure (re what he said about robotics) is a matter of will, and not some techno-confabulated fait-accompli.

  2. As a JL, I have to admit, this is very good stuff. But I think it was somewhat simplified. When Master told me in John 8-44 what He thought about liars, He pointed His finger on me, not on You Gilad. The biggest liar I need stands in the front of my mirror. Similary, if I concern myself a Christian, I must sit my ass with disciples on the last meal. Do I want to hear the Truth? Peter already is a coward, Judah is a traitor, maybe I’m both of those, but do I have balls to hang myself?

It’s a good thing, that You point out Jewish liars, but lying doesn’t end up there. Rothschild wouldn’t be, unless greedy and powerhungry goyim.

    • Newton’s second law is just a fragment also, but You didn’t got the promotion You were promised, did You? But mentioning China You clarified, that Your ass is still for sale? You doom jewish led monopole capitalism, but welcome a chinese one?

Never underestimate the power of Monty Hagee and His Flying Nuthouse, but Gilad didn’t mention them. But rather lesbians for the FED and Black Lives Matter By the FED etc. Mainstream HolocaustMulticulti and tax the poor Climatechange -religions. Are You trying to steal and manipulate Gilad’s work and passion as well?

Where did Jesus tell me what to say? More likely He asked me how to feed a full small budget orchestra with two fish and couple of bread. The answer is the full circular plate without separating lines.

    • Ok Edward, then it seems that I’m the only economical prostitute around here. The problem being, no matter how hard and how cheap I try to sell my unemployed ass, no one will buy it. Thanks to carbon taxes. Trump says, chineses invented carbon taxes, You say, Christians invented them, I’ve got a bad feeling that those taxes were invented By the same bankers that invented communism and all the isms Gilad mentioned. And why not, tax the henryfords to bankcruptcy, print the money from thin air and build up new factories in China. Then print more money and loan 10 euros to unemployed european to buy a chinese item. The bank owns the business and the money returns to the bank immediately. Then give a chinese worker 10 cents pay. But the loan remains, and when European individual or Government has no money to pay it back, realty or land will do. I’m afraid the torture never stops on either sides.

    • I noticed, that You use same kind of categorizing as Gilad introduced on the video. I fully agree with Gilad, but I would add here, that each of those sectors have their antis as well. It is a controlled opposition that is controlled By the sector they oppose that is the one who draw those separating lines. And antis are the zone, where the label like BLM denier while suggesting all the lives matter is usually hit.

No matter how tolerant Jesus was, Christians do not tolerate homosexuality one bit. On the other hand, all the western powers have adopted homosexuality promoting policies. That proves Christians do not play that important role in politics as You suggested. About the mirror, the Truth liberates, that is I dunno. I’m no longer a slave of my selfdelusion about myself.

  3. It is a very interesting point… what was Marx agenda really… what is the origin of the animosity towards production? is it because the tribe refrains from manufacturing and agriculture…for future reference,,, I am not a global anything,,, First i believe in Nationalism. Second, i do not push any political agenda … i analyse the political discourse from a philosophical perspectives…
