Obama: Dear America, I did not bomb seven countries in six years

“Brother, we could have worked peacefully, but you chose to demonize Russia. Well, farewell.”

…by Jonas E. Alexis

One must say that Obama wanted to make people laugh during his last day when he gave one reason as to why the United States must continue to put Russia on a diet. “America,” he said, must “stand up for the basic principle that big countries don’t go around and invade and bully smaller countries.”

I almost puked when Obama uttered those words.

Here is a guy who bombed seven countries in just six years and now he is telling Russia to abide by “basic principles”! Under Obama’s command, American launched Neocon expedition in places like Afghanistan, Yemen, Pakistan, Somalia, Libya, Iraq, and Syria.[1]

Every single one of those expeditions has already cost billions of dollars and has already destroyed a large part of the Middle East. From 2009 until 2014, US drone strikes killed at least 2,400 civilians.[2]

Moreover, if the US happens to target 41 men, then 1,147 would have to die, and many of the victims are children.[3] It has just been reported that “Nearly 90 percent of those killed in recent drone strikes were not the target.”[4] Brown University has estimated that at least “210,000 Afghan, Iraqi, and Pakistani civilians have died violent deaths as a direct result of the wars.

So, is Obama again telling the truth by saying that big countries should never invade and bully small countries? Will he ever apologize to the Iraqi, Afghan, and Syrian people for killing their sons and daughters?

As Russia Today put it in 2014, Obama should be called O, bomber![5] The US dropped 26,171 bombs in 2016 alone! Obama should never have listened to Neocon hawks like Bill Kristol, who once bragged that Obama “is a born-again Neocon.”

  1. How about Gates, Panetta, Hagel and Carter as Secretaries of Offense? How about the plane or drone manufacturers?; How about the crews who maintain them or fly the planes or control the drones? How about the people in the Sec. State Office who ordered and planned these attacks? How about the pilots who flew the planes? How about the American Public who tacitly authorized all this in their names? Are not all aiders and abettors of these crimes against humanity? Panetta even flew back and forth from California to DC every week wasting enormous amounts of money and fuel. He is a decadent moron. The name of the Defense Dept. must be changed back to the War Department as it was called before and during WWII to accurately reflect its true purpose. These people have no conscience or shame. “Just blindly following orders”, the military mentality.

    • Isn’t it a contradition in terms to idolize military graduates of schools like West Point and brag about their high class graduation positions if all they do is blindly and without question follow orders of others to kill innocent people without a trial and bomb priceless historical artifacts to oblivion? What is the point of having intelligence if that intelligence is forbidden to be used? Isn’t this basically what the Manning and many other cases are about? How about encouraging military members to use that functioning brain they were endowed with by their creator instead of blindly plundering the earth all due to “just following orders”? “The jails are full of petty thieves but the grand thieves are running the country.” Howard Zinn, Ph.D., professor of history Boston University

    • By the way the late Howard Zinn. Ph.D. was himself a bombadier in WWII who watched the bombs go down, as he stood above the bombay doors, and blow up killing innocent people and destroying property. He possessed intelligence and a conscience and thought about how wrong all this was. It changed his life so when he returned from the war he decided to attempt to do something about it and became a history writer and professor. He was from New York. Many great words of wisdom and quotes are attrbuted to him.

  2. USA was like a fire-starter, walking around the world, spending money, doing bad things and crimes. Now it would be better to solve home problems. So, don’t give up and reconstruct America. Though it would be better to build a new house, than reconstruct it. Don’t fell in despair, guys! Trump is neutral for me. Let us see his deeds, not words. Let’s hope for the best.
We need in my country to solve a lot of problems, too.

  3. Obama was/is a massive hypocrite. He managed to rack up as much debt as the 43 presidents who came before him, combined. Although he publicly denounced the failed Iraq war and claimed he would de-escalate the situation, he simply carried on and advanced the illegal conquest of foreign lands which W began. “Assad must go” he told the public. Since directly overthrowing a leader of a UN founding member nation, who had a higher approval rating amongst Syrians, than Obama had amongst Americans, would not be tolerated, the Obama admin decided to support al Qaeda and al Nusra to do their dirty work. That approach is what caused all the destruction and suffering in Syria. He approved the largest (illegal) foreign aid package in US history, with the world’s worst human rights violators. One of the promises of his campaign was to be a transparent president, yet, if I’m not mistaken, he classified more documents than anyone who came before him. Yes We Can” were his famous buzzwords that captivated the public. Yes We Can, what? His legacy is one of unprecedented debt increase and 6 illegal wars in just 8 years. The P5+1 and the recent refusal to defend a murderer at the UN, are moves that deserve respect, but ironically, these are the things he is most criticized for. What a backwards, insane society we live in. The man was a bum.

    • Obama wasnt a hypocrite. He did exactly what he set out to do. He was selected to be president, then “elected” then he did his job, as a pawn of the people who selected him and had him elected. Im sure this comment will be deleted within a few hours, given that VT is basically a limited hangout these days.

  4. When dinosaurs walk the earth the squirrels cannot afford to be sleeping. Meanwhile if there was international law and principles or if there existed something called “the international community” (which doesn’t) Obama would have joined his predecessors doing centuries at Hague special D-block for criminally insane.
