In a better read, more educated America, the banking oligarchs (who own and control the American media) made sure their TV news outlets only employed the latest in sophisticated propaganda techniques. This was normally done with what were called propaganda sandwiches: a sly lie slipped in between two obvious truths, which everyone could easily believe.
Throughout the 2016 US presidential campaign, however, all such nuances in propaganda were quickly dropped in favor of short bulletins (or the one-word bullets) all guaranteed to defame their targets.
Whenever mainstream news pundits made such one-word attacks as racist, Nazi, homophobic, misogynist, anti-Semitic, Fascist, or xenophobic on those who had not bought into the wild–subversive nonsense of political correctness, there was always the intent that such labels would catch on (and be passed on) without research or investigation as to the veracity of such labels ever being employed. Why else do you suppose the trillionaire banking oligarchs bought up the US media?*
*According to the Business Insider, the US media has never been more heavily consolidated, with six media giants controlling a staggering ninety percent of what we watch, listen to, or even occasionally read.
When a falsely respected TV news source repeatedly labels someone as a racist, homophobe, misogynist, Nazi, xenophobe, or anti-Semite, we tend to believe what we are told, especially if we do not have the motivation, skill, or energy to search for validation of such accusations.
Few television watchers have the desire or any of the expertise needed to search the only possible source of truth – the Internet. Little truth will be found on the oligarch-controlled medium of television.
In fact, today’s television propaganda could be called Spin for the functional illiterate.
But remember … when the controlled corporate media uniformly labels a candidate for public office with such pejoratives as racist, homophobic, Nazi, misogynist, xenophobic, or as an anti-Semitic, you can rest assured that that man or woman is … Your best bet.
