British Parliament turns nose up at Racist, Sexist Trump

As the BBC just reported, House of Commons Speaker John Bercow has said he would be “strongly opposed” to US President Donald Trump addressing the Houses of Parliament during his state visit to the UK.

Mr Bercow told MPs that “opposition to racism and sexism” were “hugely important considerations”.

President Trump was invited to make a state visit after meeting Theresa May in Washington last month.

The British people have also been expressing their wish to keep Trump out of our country, a petition to withdraw the invitation to Trump will be debated by MPs on 20 February after attracting a whopping 1.8m signatures.

Mr. Bercow cited the attempted ban on Muslims as one of the key reasons for his statement:

“Before the imposition of the migrant ban, I would myself have been strongly opposed to an address by President Trump in Westminster Hall,” he said.

“After the imposition of the migrant ban I am even more strongly opposed to an address by President Trump in Westminster Hall.”

Are we going to let the pussy grabber meet the Queen?

John Bercow, well done, you said what the majority of us Brits have been thinking for a while, that Trump is a disgusting, slimy character who we are very glad is over there in the US rather than here.

Well, Bercow didn’t exactly say that, but the level of distaste and disregard in his speech for the orange bloviating madman was voluble.

As the Independent newspaper reports, other MPs back John Bercow’s call for Donald Trump to be blocked from addressing Parliament.

Liberal Democrat leader Tim Farron responded to Bercow’s statement:

“This is the right decision by The Speaker.

“The Prime Minister might wish to kowtow to the nasty misogynist that now sits in the Oval Office but no-one else does. We do not want him to speak to us. He is not welcome.”

This is the leader of a major political party talking about the US president, unprecedented, absolutely unprecedented.

The level of opposition to Trump visiting Britain is also unprecedented.

Given how thin Trump’s skin is, he will undoubtedly be very upset about this British rebuke. The British nation therefore awaits Trump’s Twitter response with glee as no doubt, it will be childish, petulant and stupid, which we will find immensely humorous.

It’s a shame Prince Phillip doesn’t have a Twitter account, I bet he has some priceless words of derision to share on the Trump situation.

  1. Our president hasn’t earned his spurs yet to enter the hell hole of politics that is Westminster Hall where one can find on any given day – a cheesy smorgasbord of paedophiles, international gangsters and warmongering Oxbridge wallies posturing as politicians when not abroad on their knees in obeisance to Saudi and Gulf royalty or kowtowing to their Likud betters in the Knesset. These servants of the so-called realm would be more at home in Dante’s Inferno like many cousins in Congress “who have rejected spiritual values by yielding to bestial appetites or violence, or by perverting their human intellect to fraud or malice against their fellowmen.” The sting in the tail of course is that Mr. Bercow is Jewish.

  2. There were over 40,000 at a march last Saturday outside Downing street protesting at this tangerine fascist’s ban on Muslims and his upcoming visit to the UK. (I was at the march)

The racist nonsense he spews has neither impressed nor fooled anyone over here.
