Trump growing frustrated with running White House: Aides

… from  Press TV,  Tehran

We had good news that a military confrontations over a couple of tiny island basis might be insanity

[ Editor’s Note: Oh my, there seems to be trouble in paradise. The story seems hard to believe, that all this time during a long hard fought campaign, all the positions that one assumed some analysis was done about what it would take to accomplish them, the Trump would not have people advising him as to what was realistic and what was pie in the sky.

I had joked that I would be surprised if he wanted to run the Whitehouse like a reality tv show from his past life in the make believe land, but it is appearing that he was serious about.

He would be king, issue decrees, and have a lot of smart underlings to carry everything out, with his daughter and son-in-law watching over things, both with no government experience.

Last week we even saw both the president and his adviser Conway both shilling for Ivanka’s shoe business line, as part of the people’s business. That really is something you would expect to see in a TV show story script, but it is really happening. This is going to get worse folks before it gets better I am afraid.

The growing list of reversals on his flurry of "how I am going to change the world” is a sign that he might be waking up out of his dream and understand that billions of people are out there that may not want to live in the Trump fantasy worldJim W. Dean ]

US President Donald Trump has been growing increasingly frustrated with the challenges of running the White House, according to his aides and allies.

The new president’s mood has switched from surprise to anger as he has faced the predictable realities that the US government cannot be run like his business empire, Politico reported Friday, quoting nearly two dozen people who have spent time with Trump in the three weeks since his inauguration.

The transition from overseeing a family business to running the country has been tough on Trump, those close to the president said, most of whom requested anonymity to describe the inner workings of the White House.

They said Trump has become particularity frustrated with the massive federal bureaucracy, including congressional delays over his cabinet nominations and legal battles holding up his controversial executive orders. During his presidential election campaign, the billionaire businessman sold himself to voters as being uniquely qualified to fix the nation’s ailments.

The people interviewed describe the White House as a tense workplace where job duties are unclear, morale among some staff is low, internal conflict is extensive and exhaustion is running high.

Some staffers are reportedly worried about coming into conflict with Jared Kushner, Trump’s son-in-law who is among his most trusted advisers. The staffers say they are unclear about Kushner’s role, describing his portfolio as amorphous. “No one quite knows what it is,” said one aide. “It’s confusing.”

Kushner played a key role in blocking New Jersey Governor and former Republican presidential candidate Chris Christie from getting a senior job in the Trump administration.

Christie, who was the US Attorney for the District of New Jersey before becoming governor, was involved in the prosecution of Kushner’s father, Charles Kushner, who was sentenced to two years in prison in 2005 for tax evasion, witness tampering and making illegal campaign donations.

The water coolers of the highly experienced long term employees, are probably not gushing about how lucky they are now. Even if the Trump transition was the most mild mannered well intentioned bunch, the move from public sector, directly to the top, would be awkward and slow, as millions of stupid questions are answered. mostly with, no.

Seems like Trumps cabinet are lining up against Flynn. Just not radical enough. Imagine a nat sec adviser talking to ‘the enemy’. How can he be so anti-Iran and supposedly be in bed with Russia? Something smells. Is that Mattis behind him with a knife? It’s just a shadow, so it could be anyone of Trumps ‘valued advisers’. Trump better watch his step, he’ll be next. Pence for Prez! (hack, cough) is the real agenda IMO.

    The party’s over……
Is that all there is my friend……So lets keep dancing….
Are we sure the Marx Brothers haven’t taken over the White House? I believe the Marx brothers were smarter than these buffoons. Dangerous buffoons at that.
Killer klowns from outer space? Were they seen in various neighborhoods across the country? Talk about aliens……It appears some of Drumpf’s staff are reptillian. They probably dine on infants.
Alfred E. Newman at the helm.
    What? Me worry?
