Updated – Special note for California and New York residents: We now are offering AR platform rifles that are legal to own in California and New York. They do not need to be registered as “assault rifles.”  We have a video that explains the new law. Mike and I had some fun with this one, but the facts given are accurate.

California / New York Legal AR

This is our first offering conforming to the new California and New York standards. Because it does not have any of the “evil features” that they use to define an “assault rifle, it can be legally sold in these states and does not need to be registered as an assault weapon.  It has a standard magazine release button rather than the “bullet button.” It uses the “featureless” Thordsen stock which looks a bit odd at first glance but is actually quite comfortable to shoot. Since they are currently the only manufacturer that makes this style of stock, they are quite expensive and difficult to get.

This offering is for a 5.56/.223 caliber rifle, but Mike can build it in any of the AR-15 calibers. (.300 Blackout, 7.62×39, 6.5 Grendel, etc.) The .308 will be available soon.

6.5 Grendel Long Range Rifle in Carbine Length

The 6.5 Grendel is the caliber that the military should be using as their primary combat rifle.

The 6.5mm Grendel (6.5×39mm) is an intermediate cartridge designed by Arne Brennan, Bill Alexander, and Janne Pohjoispää as a low recoil, high accuracy, 200-800 yard cartridge specifically for the AR-15 platform. It is an improved variation of the 6.5mm PPC. Since its introduction, it has proven to be a versatile design and is now expanding out into other platforms including bolt-action rifles and the Kalashnikov system.

Firing factory loaded ammunition loaded with bullets ranging from 90 to 129 grains(5.8–8.4 g), its muzzle velocity ranges from 2,500 ft/s (760 m/s) with 129- and 130-grain (8.4 g) bullets to 2,900 ft./s (880 m/s) with 90 gr (5.8 g) bullets (similar in velocity to a 5.56 mm 77-grain (5.0 g) round). This is a long range round and is still supersonic at 1000 yards, making it an excellent long range shooter.

The name “6.5mm Grendel” was a trademark owned by Alexander Arms until it was legally released to allow the cartridge to become SAAMI standardized.

AK-47

This is a collector “must have”

This is the last and nicest of our AK-47s. It was built using Polish military parts that appear to have come from a rifle that was never issued. The furniture has a beautiful tiger stripe pattern. and has a rare chrome plated bolt and carrier. It has been assembled using a new American made receiver, barrel and Tapco trigger group.  This is one of a kind. It shoots the low priced and easy to obtain 7.62X39 round. One available.

AK-74

We have 2 of these available, one shown with light color wood and one with a dark finish. Both were Bulgarian military weapons that were in unissued condition. They have been assembled using new American made receivers, barrels, and Tapco trigger groups. The AK 74 parts are getting harder to find as not as many were imported as AK 47s. They shoot the 5.45X39 round which has ballistics that are very similar to the American 5.56.

Loss Bleeder -Basic 5.56 Carbine

This is our version of a basic .223/5.56 AR-15 carbine. We call it our “Loss Bleeder.” Most of our offerings come fully equipped, but sometimes people already have optics or would like to “dress” their own gun so we are offering a limited number of “basic” carbines.
