PressTV: Large blast hits Damascus International Airport

First published April 27, 2017 – Press TV

A large explosion has hit the area of Damascus International Airport, with some reports pointing to a possible Israeli airstrike.

Footage emerged of burning fuel or gas at fuel tanks and an ammunition depot in the airport’s compound early on Thursday, according to reports.

“The blast was huge and could be heard in Damascus,” said Rami Abdulrahman, head of the so-called Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

Citing local sources, Al-Masdar News said there were five airstrikes against the airport or its vicinity, but added it could not independently verify the reports.

Lebanon’s Al-Manar television channel also reported that the explosion and fire were likely caused by an Israeli airstrike.

There have been no reports of casualties so far.

Israeli warplanes have targeted the Damascus airport and other bases around the capital in the past. The airport was hit by Israeli airstrikes in December 2014.

The Israeli regime does not usually confirm or deny the raids it conducts on Syrian soil.

BEIRUT, April 27. /TASS/. Israel’s Air Force struck a target near the Damascus international airport on Thursday, the Al-Alam TV channel reported.

The strike was followed by a heavy fire in the outskirts of the airport. According to preliminary data, the air raid hit a military base. The explosion was reportedly heard in the eastern outskirts of the Syrian capital.

The Syrian command has not made any statements so far.

On February 22, Israel carried out a strike on targets in the al-Qatifa Mountains, located to the north of Damascus. The attack, conducted from Lebanese airspace, hit a camp of Hezbollah-affiliated Shia militants fighting on the side of the Syrian army.

How the Israelis work around the S-400’s:

From Jim Stone Investigative Journalist: Anonymous sent:

Iran declared that they will not buy any S-400 from Russia. Because they are useless against Israel and thereby USA and probably others. Israel keeps bombing Syria and the Russian S-400s there do nothing. Iranians changed the codes to identify friends. But Israelis found another way to neutralize the S-400. The S-400 was the only defence Russia had against attackers. Now that is proven useless. S-400s are manufactured by a privatized Soviet company, currently owned by Jewish Oligarch. The weapons designers are mostly Jewish. So, Israelis have all the inside secrets of all Russian weapons

It should be obvious to every one now that Russia has told Syria, we are here to fight terrorism in your country, not the US/Coalition.
When Aleppo feel a few months ago, I thought there was light at the end of the tunnel for the Syrian people and Syria, but the Criminals in DC have other plans, like plan b,c,d,e,f etc.

Putin has to drag Nuttyahoos ass to Moscow for a chat, then blow up his ac on the way home.

I recall that during the war the allies used convoys to ship weapons to Britain and Russia. The convoys were protected by warships. Although losses were great, convoys were a lot safer than single ships.

Evidently Syria has a problem with weapon transports as well as storage, whereas Deash does not seem to have much of a problem in that regard. A solution might be to inspect ship cargoes bound for Turkey and Arabia. Suez Canal and Dardanelles are bottlenecks in that regard.

Since Hezbolla is battling Daesh, they are on the same side as Trump.
If Israel attacks Hezbolla, it means that Israel sides with Daesh.
Simple logic then implies that Trump and Israel are enemies.

Unfortunatly reality is not following simple logic in this case.

It could have been directed energy weapons which would be likely considering that Israeli planes would suffer significant loses in such a raid and missiles leave to much evidence.

So much for those vaunted russian sam’s.

The Russians seem to have made it clear that they will defend themselves and others who happen to be with them. The Russian SAMs are at the other end of Syria nowhere near Damascus.

Hit Hell-Aviv’s airport in retaliation. Or, simultaneously hit all their airbases and get as many of their jets as possible. Raze the illegal settlements in the Golan to the ground. How do these jets keep violating Syrian airspace and making it out in one piece? Israel says it hits weapons meant for Hezbollah, so start striking Israeli weapons caches under the suspicion that they are meant for ISIS. When you’re dealing with a bully, you have to hit him hard enough so that he doesn’t get back up. If you don’t fight back, they will keep pushing and if you do fight back, they will push harder. [email protected] you Israel.

If it was indeed Israeli rockets, then launch a few back at them. Stupid khazars think they can do whatever they want to anyone, but as soon as you criticize them for being sons of their father, the devil, you are labelled as the bad guy. Find out where the Redshields are and beat the $h!t out of them, until they call off their dogs and give up everyone who is helping them. Then throw their asses in jail where they belong and seize all of their assets. The body can’t survive without the head.

Israel laughs at Russia’s strict rules of engagement. Its gotten so bad, Israel does more damage to Syria now than their partners Daesh. We learn however from this latest incident, Putin won’t touch Israel. Sigh!

Don’t they have a defense system? Shoot these planes down.

Defund the Banksters who run US. That’s the only way to stop this.
