[Editor’s note: VT readers are most likely aware that we have been supporting Tulsi Gabbard for some time as she is a woman that possesses qualities sorely lacking among her fellow members of Congress, namely honesty, integrity, and perhaps most importantly of all, a big hairy set of metaphorical balls.

Finally, an American politician who is acting in the best interests of the people, a politician that the US people can be proud of.

Bravo for introducing this bill Tulsi, we stand behind you all the way. We can but hope and pray that she succeeds. Ian]

Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard blasts Obama for funding ISIS, introduces “Stop Arming Terrorists Act”

Gabbard is now openly saying what the entire planet knows to be true, that Obama has been working with Al Qaeda-ISIS in Syria for the purpose of replacing the Assad government at the behest of Saudi Arabia and Qatar.

Gabbard’s tweet is another blow to Obama’s policy of terrorizing Syria…and with close to 30 days left before the puppet president finally leaves office, Gabbard is moving forward with a Bill that may finally put an end to America’s state sponsorship of Al Qaeda and ISIS.

Most importantly, however, is her introduction of the “Stop Arming Terrorists Act,” which she presented last Thursday. In her presentation of the bill, Gabbard cited prominent publications such as the New York Times and the Wall Street Journal to show that the rebels the U.S. is supporting in Syria are aligned with al-Nusra (which is essentially al-Qaeda in Syria).

She is co-sponsoring the bill with Rep. Thomas Massie, who says the bill “would prohibit the U.S. government from using American taxpayer dollars to provide funding, weapons, training, and intelligence support to terrorist groups like al-Qaeda and ISIS, or to countries who are providing direct or indirect support to those same groups.”

These concerns are not conjectures — they can be verified by none other than suspected war criminal Tony Blair. A think tank founded by the former U.K. Prime Minister released a report in 2015 that concluded it was ultimately pointless to make a distinction between the various rebel groups on the ground since the majority of these groups share ISIS’s core belief system (and would impose Sharia law if they came into power).

“The CIA has also been funneling weapons and money through Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Qatar and others who provide direct and indirect support to groups like ISIS and al-Qaeda,” Gabbard stated on the House floor last week.

She went into more detail:

“The CIA has long been supporting a group called Fursan al Haqq, providing them with salaries, weapons, and support, including surface to air missiles. This group is cooperating with and fighting alongside an al-Qaeda affiliated group trying to overthrow the Syrian government. The Levant Front is another so-called moderate umbrella group of Syrian opposition fighters. Over the past year, the United States has been working with Turkey to give this group intelligence support and other forms of military assistance. This group has joined forces with al-Qaeda’s offshoot group in Syria.

“This madness must end. We must stop arming terrorists. The Government must end this hypocrisy and abide by the same laws that apply to its’ citizens.”
Hillary Clinton and the Obama administration are well aware of the support the Gulf states have provided to ISIS.

The bill would prohibit any federal agency from supporting a terrorist group or funneling support through other countries that directly or indirectly support terror groups. It is also co-sponsored by lawmakers Peter Welch, Barbara Lee, and Trump ally Dana Rohrabacher.

  1. Tulsi’s bill was introduced back in December in the old Congress, and then again on Jan 23 of this year in the House, and then in March in the Senate. I am guessing that the original article may have run on Dec. 6, which is 12/6 for us. But in most other countries, 12/6 would be June 12, leading people to think it’s new news. But it’s not. Both versions of the bill seem to be sitting in committee.

  2. On ICH today they show a video with a huge convoy of Isis leaving Raqqa — untouched by the Americans and Kurds. ” This ain’t no technological breakdown” – they’re on their way to fight/kill more of Assad’s people, with the blessing of the USG.

  3. Gabbard is a CFR member! She’s being groomed to be the next “progressive” candidate who will let us down. She also used to oppose gay marriage like a PINO.

    • I love Tulsi for the stand she’s taking, but that being said, this subject should not be debatable. American officials supporting forces that America claims to be at war with, equates to providing aid to the enemy, plain and simple. What is there to debate? Remind these $h!t eaters in the USG what the punishment for treason is. ☠️

  4. “with close to 30 days left before the puppet president finally leaves office”

No updates, just a reprint from 6 months ago?

  5. I agree with mrs. Gabbard notions and support her ideas, as well as VT proposals, I only feel that her method might not bring about the needed outcome and discussion. What if Gabbard would also introduce something unthinkable and utterly sinful like “Stop conscripting US soldiers”, because that is what comes on the other side of that inventing permanent war while funding and arming terrorists. Terrorists are undoubtedly on both sides of US-ISIL alleged confrontation, neither of them have any legality on their Middle Eastern excursions.

  6. Tulsi Gabbard’s “Stop Arming Terrorists Act” (SATA) bill is detailed at https://www.congress.gov/bill/115th-congress/house-bill/608. SATA has eight (8) Republican co-sponsors and six (6) Democrat sponsors & co-sponsors. Trump has not yet taken a position on SATA.

Bush, Clinton & Obama used terrorist groups to try to accomplish U.S. policy — very unsuccessfully. Trump will supposedly help to eliminate IS/Daesh in Iraq & Syria, but Trump’s position on al-Qaeda & other terrorist groups is unclear.

Since Trump’s inauguration, al-Qaeda/al-Nusra successors are no longer on the U.S. terror watch list.

    • Dr. ABS… “Since Trump’s inauguration, al-Qaeda/al-Nusra successors are no longer on the U.S. terror watch list.” What, may I ask, is not clear about the Trump admin. When Trump said: we are going to wipe ISIS, I thought he was going to send in the sixth fleet, ask the Russians to point them out, and do a shock and awe on Isis. No such thing.

  7. How could she not succeed?…….this bill will flush out those in favour of arming terrorists if they stand against it…..and for the whole world to see
