CNN is reporting this morning that, “Former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort is turning himself in Monday to Justice Department special counsel Robert Mueller, according to a source with direct knowledge of the matter.”
“Manafort was indicted under seal on Friday,” and the indictment is expected to be unsealed today.
For more background on Manafort, see Trump’s Kremlin connections by Ian Greenhalgh.
“To what extent Putin knew of Trump’s working relationship with the Zionist Russian Mafia is unknown, furthermore, we do not know the exact nature of the relationships between the oligarchs and Putin. Key oligarchs such as Abramovich, the now deceased Berezovsky and Alfa Group boss Fridman are all alleged to have financed and supported Putin’s rise to power, but we do not know to what extent these allegations are true, neither do we know the nature of the current relationship these men enjoy with Putin and his government.
“What we do know though is that the new POTUS has been working with organised crime groups, both foreign and domestic and would still be utterly bankrupt if it were not for the financial rewards he garnered from dodgy deals with these mafia groups.”
We will keep you updated as Veterans Today was one of the first reporting on Manafort and Russian organized crime in conjunction with the Trump administration.
