Was Lockerbie a Cover-Up?

On this 21st day of December in 1988, Pan Am Flight 103 from London to New York explodes in midair over Lockerbie, Scotland, killing all 243 passengers and 16 crew members aboard, as well as 11 Lockerbie residents on the ground.

A bomb hidden inside an audio cassette player detonated in the cargo area when the plane was at an altitude of 31,000 feet.

The disaster, which became the subject of Britain’s largest criminal investigation, was believed to be an attack against the United States. One hundred eighty nine of the victims were American.

Islamic terrorists were accused of planting the bomb on the plane while it was at the airport in Frankfurt, Germany. Authorities suspected the attack was in retaliation for either the 1986 U.S. air strikes against Libya, in which leader Muammar al-Qaddafi’s young daughter was killed along with dozens of other people, or a 1988 incident, in which the U.S. mistakenly shot down an Iran Air commercial flight over the Persian Gulf, killing 290 people.

Sixteen days before the explosion over Lockerbie, the U.S. embassy in Helsinki, Finland, received a call warning that a bomb would be placed on a Pan Am flight out of Frankfurt. There is controversy over how seriously the U.S. took the threat and whether travelers should have been alerted, but officials later said that the connection between the call and the bomb was coincidental.

BUY ON AMAZON.COM – On December 21 1988, 270 people died when Pan Am 103 was blown out of the sky over Lockerbie. Finally, after 11 years of investigation, political stalemate and legal delays, two Libyan men prepare to face trial for the Lockerbie bombing. But many observers – including legal and law enforcement officials close to the case – say the trial may not produce a satisfying answer to the question of who bombed Pan Am 103. This work answers the questions that the authorities wish to bury. It attempts to show that the bombing was anything but a straightforward act of terrorism perpetrated against civilized, Western nations by an evil dictator. The shocking truth, according to this book, is that the Western intelligence services were complicit in the murders. From the moment the plane went down, a supposedly impartial investigation was distorted in order to conceal this dark reality from the victims’ relatives and the public.

In 1991, following a joint investigation by the British authorities and the F.B.I., Libyan intelligence agents Abdel Basset Ali al-Megrahi and Lamen Khalifa Fhimah were indicted for murder; however, Libya refused to hand over the suspects to the U.S.

Finally, in 1999, in an effort to ease United Nations sanctions against his country, Qaddafi agreed to turn over the two men to Scotland for trial in the Netherlands using Scottish law and prosecutors. In early 2001, al-Megrahi was convicted and sentenced to life in prison and Fhimah was acquitted. Over the U.S. government’s objections, Al-Megrahi was freed and returned to Libya in August 2009 after doctors determined that he had only months to live.

In 2003, Libya accepted responsibility for the bombing, but didn’t express remorse. The U.N. and U.S. lifted sanctions against Libya and Libya agreed to pay each victim’s family approximately $8 million in restitution.

In 2004, Libya’s prime minister said that the deal was the “price for peace,” implying that his country only took responsibility to get the sanctions lifted, a statement that infuriated the victims’ families. Pan Am Airlines, which went bankrupt three years after the bombing, sued Libya and later received a $30 million settlement.

  1. While Flight 103 was boarding in Germany, the BKA witnessed a piece of luggage that with a bomb on board inside a radio, their trained GS dogs had alerted. They did not interfere but called the CIA and asked the man in charge of that dept that handled terrorism what to do. That man was Aldrich Ames. He told them to let the bomb go, orders had been given at the top (meaning GHWB/BCC). Ames was later punished using normal means which is this. All the claims he was selling secrets to the Russians were twisted and only half true. That was his job, to sell half truth and misinformation seeded with low level Intel to play the double agent game which he was required to do. The DIA pulled strings for revenge and he became disposable. This and many other CIA offenses against the DIA are now being “paid back”. Thus it is likely you will see the CIA being deconstructed and top criminals there displaced within the next couple of years if not sooner. Top DIA men have claimed that the CIA is traitorous, working for the CIA/BCC/COL drug cartels, murdered JFK, RFK, MLK and hundreds of others with the FBI’s help. Thus the DIA will now finish what it should have twenty years ago. The Bloodline families always send their brightest to Wall Street, the dumb, crazy ones go to the CIA to get them out of the family and out of sight. Betcha all Intel will be taken into the DIA and US Military. Bye, Bye CIA and FBI Div 5.

  2. Pan Am 103 was a CIA/Mossad hit to murder Charles McKee and his team of DIA investigators that uncovered that Pan Am was running a heroine pipeline into NYC. Tiny McKee was a stand up man who was coming home to blow the whole case wide open, he could not be compromised and would not accept CIA drug trafficking. A high ranking FBI Div 5 man known to be completely dirty knew in advance and called his son who was in Europe and told him not to fly on that flight. The State Dept told its diplomats not to fly that day. The plan was 1/2 empty because of this. Blaming Libya and/or Khadafy was just part of the elaborate cover up. the USG is run by CIA drug traffickers and the BCC on behalf of the COL RKM.

    • Pan Ams punishment was to be driven out of business for its sins for the CIA/BCC/COL drug cartel which at the time hijacked the USG and is now hanging on for dear life, soon to be displaced forever.

  3. Who knows when the secret criminal activities of the U.S. Government began? Perhaps in the very early administrations although in those days the federal government was broke so this may have prevented or delayed it for a time. Even in the 1930’s before WWII money was scarce for the Federal Government and that was why the Marines were very restricted as to how many four star generals they were authorized. This is why General Smedley Butler was never promoted to more than two star rank when he easily deserved 4 and even should have been promoted to the top about 1930. It appears much of the criminal evil conduct began in WWII with General Donovan plotting the evil plot to murder General George S. Patton after the war ended in 1945 disguised as a fake car accident where rubber bullets were used to cover up the evidence. This was very carefully planned with history books repeating the lies to this day. Of course today government just borrows and prints all the money they need for any crimes anywhere on the planet while using the full military armed force of government to hide their criminal activities from a duped public. America is gone folks and maybe never was. It is only a matter of time now when it implodes and gets reduced to the ashes it deserves. The Founders would say, “you idiots deserve your plight; shame on you.”.

    • Just think of this Americans: There is no crime, anywhere on the planet which our totally outlaw and criminal government can’t plan and plot and handle, instigated by their criminal evil handlers in Israel today! Shameful disgrace is far too polite a phrase to describe this depravity of America. Was not our own land theft from the American Indians bad enough?

  4. Is it not clear this was CIA business? Neither Libya, nor any Libyan, nor Muammar al-Qaddafi had anything to do with this. Nothing. Yes, Libya paid up. What was Libya to do, given that the purpose of designer sanctions is genocide (in this case) of the Libyan people? Once again – like so many other events – the official, certified story not only fails the most cursory plausibility, but the cui bono, along with a plethora of evidence, points squarely at the United States of America (Oh how great thou art). An innocent man was framed for the convenience of devotees of the devil.
