We are under an authority, that is smothered under the weight, of the lack of transparency.
So yea, memo to story sellers, make sure the guarantee to run , is in the contracts.
Our representatives should say the same things in private, as they do when a reporter plops a recorder on the table. Without a free press, highly trained and capable of duty to the people, we fall under the knife.
What trump supporters need to know, is we know the press is broken, but Donald is going after the wounded minnow, not the other sharks. He is feeding the sharks.
We can blame the press, but certainly they were gutted by corporate just prior to Bush, in 2000, and then transparency went backwards hardcore. This forces the press to focus on other things. They work with what they get. We need a bill to break up big media, but simultaneously we need governmental transparency.
I will say this,.. that the publics reaction to Trumps illicit affairs, is proof DC’s fear of media and public exposure is unwarranted. We the people do not care if this guy or that sleeps with his secretary.
What we care about, is solid intelligence, honesty and transparency. The fear from DC is not generated by the people’s perceptions and judgements, there is no evidence of that, it is high crimes, they are afraid of exposing. It’s corruption in a spin cycle with a clogged drain. It’s 40 tons of heroin headed on a freighter to NY harbor. It’s dirty deeds done dirt cheap. All Trump did was raise the price, and variety. The heroin now has a big T on the bag.
