Donald Trump doesn’t seem to stop amazing anyone anymore with his completely irresponsible approach to foreign policy. This man certainly knows better. He witnessed the Iraq debacle. He said before he took office that perpetual wars are bad for America and much of the world, but now he is acting as duplicitous agent for the Israeli regime.
What am I talking about? Trump “has praised Washington’s cancellation of $230mn in funding for stabilization in war-torn Syria. Let ‘other rich countries’ pay it, Trump says, while the US spends its money on its military and allies.”[1]
Wait a minute. The United States and Israel virtually destroyed the country and destabilized families by supporting terrorism. In fact, we witnessed how one terrorist cut the heart of a dead soldier and took a bite.
Now the Trump administration is trying to leave the crime scene without paying the consequences! In 2015, the United States allocated $500 million dollars to train the so-called Syrian rebels. It has been estimated that it cost $4 million to train just one rebel/terrorist![2]
Navy Capt. Jeff Davis said then: “We expect the numbers of moderate Syrian opposition who we [have] in the training program to increase, but as we have said, the screening process is crucial to the program, and we will continue to err on the side of quality over quantity or speed.”[3]
Well, of course the numbers of so-called moderate Syrian opposition would increase if you are giving them millions of dollars. In other words, being a terrorist was a good thing for the so-called rebels. They were well fed and well paid, while the average American couldn’t even feed his family. Both the Obama and Trump administrations did contribute to the rise of terrorism in Syria. They were acting as agents of Israel.
Both administrations spent millions upon millions of dollars on the so-called rebels. By 2017, Foreign Policy reported that “The Pentagon Is Spending $2 Billion Running Soviet-Era Guns to Syrian Rebels.”[4] Here it is:
“The Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project (OCCRP) and the Balkan Investigative Reporting Network (BIRN) allege that the Pentagon has given up to $2.2 billion worth of weapons to groups like the Syrian Democratic Forces and the Kurdish People’s Protection Units, or YPG.
“In particular, the Pentagon is reportedly removing documentary evidence about just who will ultimately be using the weapons, potentially weakening one of the bulwarks of international protocols against illicit arms dealing.”[5]
Foreign Policy reported in 2015 that the Pentagon literally “Wasted $500 Million Training Syrian Rebels. It’s About to Try Again.”[6]
The Syrian war is essentially over, and both the Israeli regime and the United States lost. The big losers in this mess are the Syrian families and civilians. The interesting thing is that the Trump administration and indeed Israel want other nations to pay for the debacle.
Do you see why these political whores and mush-heads need to be behind bars for the rest of their natural lives? What could the United States do with $2 billion? Couldn’t they provide some kind of scholarships for students who are drowning in student loans? Couldn’t they help build a system for families who can’t even afford healthcare? Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was right on target when he forcefully declared:
“We only have empty pockets when it comes to the morally right things to do, but when it comes to tax cuts for billionaires and when it comes to unlimited war we seem to be able to invent that money very easily.
“Why is it that our pockets are only empty when it comes to education and health care for our kids? Why are our pockets only empty when we talk about 100 percent renewable energy that is going to save this planet and allow our children to thrive? We only have empty pockets when it comes to the morally right things to do.”
Think about it this way, $347 billion can send all 2009 US high school grads to private college! So when a person attempts to convince you that perpetual wars are good for America and much of the West, then it is an infallible sign that you are in the presence of an Israeli puppet, a warmonger, a Neocon, a political whore, or a useful idiot.
