With the advancement of technology, we are now able to monitor our heartbeat, the number of steps we take per day, sleep patterns and more, just by wearing a Fitbit wristband. It is now suggested that these wrist bands could help doctors to predict how patients will react to chemotherapy.

We are also able to track our own physical exercise by downloading Apps and we can even compare and meet up with friends through sharing our daily activities on social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.  However, with all this technology there is also another side which limits us from just putting our trainers on and going for a morning run or swim.

Today, most of us will be glued to our smartphones, some of us will check the latest spin offers on  https://www.freespinsuk.co.uk/new-uk-casinos-online/, others will browse for the next deal on Amazon, we might also binge on the next Netflix or Prime Video series.

We just have far too many distractions than we ever did before not to mention the daily house chores and piles of clothes we need to wash, fold, iron and put away!

We all lead very busy lives and are flooded with information, most of which is adverts trying to sell products based on the cookies we left on the web. How and when exactly are we meant to or able to squeeze in an hour a day or even 15 minutes to a meaningful and boosting physical activity?

That is the burning question on many people’s minds, and the simple answer to that is that we need to fend off unnecessary clouds of worries, to-do lists and usual daily grind lists from our mind by clearing our mind to take a few minutes a day to simply do nothing or work on our fearful thoughts and mental fitness, to meditate.

When one meditates, they pay attention to the most important aspects of life, which is our mind and body. Just by sitting still and letting our daily thoughts and annoyances drift away from our mind whenever they come, we suddenly become more aware of our surroundings and can reach clarity of our mind.

When meditation is done methodically, preferably daily, it can lead to a much healthier lifestyle which includes the integration of physical exercise, which is a key component of a satisfied and balanced outlook on life, and so enabling us to achieve more.

Controlling your day-to-day thoughts and therefore clearing your mind will enable you to achieve better and more consistent results with your PT or on your own when you do any form of physical exercise. There are many readings available online, as well as podcasts to help you to find your first steps in mediation.
