  1. “Liberal” translates to people who seek freedom because of their ability to read. I didn’t realize it was a bubble needing to get popped. I truly do not know China and I can understand their “pushback” of westerners in light of recent altercations. I didn’t realize that there was a conservative/liberal narrative. Most readers of VT think that the polarization of politics is just Kabuki theater. Which is a fancy way of saying it’s a song and dance. I think that it is a sadness if you feel that Boo Hoo is a normal way of living in any part of the world. I can’t believe anyone wants to live in a repressed society.
