If the world is offered the “law of the jungle”,

you need to play according to the “laws of taiga”

Sergey Karaganov

The year 2000 was not only the beginning of the new millennium, but also an interesting change of pieces on the world chessboard. In Russia, a deadly tired Boris Yeltsin blessed Vladimir Putin for power, and in the United States, George W. Bush won the election, or at least was awarded the job by the Supreme Court. These two figures were to begin a new round of the game on the chessboard. Vladimir Putin led a country where kleptocracy, exulting and reveling in the power and vastness of the plundered riches, and those treasures that had yet to be stolen, built partnerships with Western kleptocracy, while Russia was losing 2 million of their citizens each year and facing a grim future.

George W. Bush led the country, where the neo-conservatives had already tasted the poison of impunity and looked with greedy eyes at the Middle East, now defenseless, but still full to the brim of black gold and other treasures. The key positions of US domination: in the military sphere, in the economy, in the development of technology and “soft power” – allowed the hegemon to declare its full right to rule the whole world for its own sake, peace and “interests.” The world superpower entered the arena in all the brilliance of its invincible power. Francis Fukuyama summed up the development of humanity with the thesis about the end of history and the eternal domination of the United States.

In 1997, Zbigniew Brzezinski enthusiastically announced:

For the first time in history:

  • One single state is a world power ruling the world.
  • For the first time in history, a non-Eurasian state is on a global scale the dominant force in the world.
  • For the first time in history, the central geopolitical arena of our globe, Eurasia, is subordinate to a non-Eurasian state.” (Z. Brzezinski “The Great Chess Board”)

Brzezinski’s exaltation regarding the subordination of the central geopolitical arena of the world to the only sovereign of the world, the United States, was combined with the insistent motive of the main task for the future – to preserve this power forever. The omission of the main ideologist and demiurge of the unipolar world was that he did not have time to realize the obvious: you cannot lose what you have never owned.

The rhetoric of the main mastermind of US imperial grandeur is amazing: Using the terminology of the more brutal times of ancient empires, the three great duties of imperial geostrategy are:

  • to prevent collusion between vassals and preserve their dependence on overall security;
  • maintain submissiveness of subordinates by ensuring their protection;
  • Preventing the union of barbarians. (Z. Brzezinski “The Great Chess Board”)

Brzezinski is not shy in expressions, why should he be? To him the victory was in his hands, the barbarians have been driven into a stall, now all that remains is to retain this power forever!

Vladimir Putin on the Global Stage: First Entry

The speech by Vladimir Putin in Munich on February 10, 2007, must be viewed from time to time by those politicians who once again try to shake the world with a dilemma from Dostoevsky’s novel Crime and Punishment – “I Am Trembling or I Have the Right,”  Raskolnikov’s syndrome was noticeably aggravated in those years by the political elite of the hegemon and its satellites, when Russia appeared before the world drained of blood and defenseless. None of them expected such a call from the young leader of a dying country. For the first time in 16 years, Russia acted on the international stage in the unprecedentedly bold role of a country rising from western engineered ruins and realizing in itself the power to challenge the correctness of a world enslaved by the empire. It is interesting to look now at the faces of Western politicians then in the hall, perhaps for the first time in their lives who were confronted with sobering truth.

But the truth in the mouth of Putin sounded alarm with his challenging rhetoric:

“But what is a unipolar world? No matter how they decorate this term, it ultimately means in practice only one thing: it is one center of power, one center of governance, one center of decision-making. This is the world of one master, one sovereign. And this is ultimately destructive not only for everyone who is within the framework of this system, but also for the sovereign itself, because it destroys it from the inside.”

How could those politicians who represented the interests of the sovereign that day in Munich not hear a warning from Putin? After all, it did not sound like a threat, but some good friendly advice.  In the ecstasy of power over the whole world, who among American politicians and their vassals could then believe Putin?

“I believe that for the modern world, a unipolar model is not only unacceptable, but impossible as well. The model itself is inoperative, since this is not and cannot be the moral and ethical base of modern civilization.”

Accurately diagnosed with a fatal disease did not help the patient, the empire rushed to the abyss in powerful steps. Today we are witnessing a paralysis of power in the entire trans-Atlantic empire, because as Lord Acton put it – power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely.

90s in Russia: The Lessons of Tragedy

What could the inhabitants of the stall feel? When did the awakening from the trouble of mirages of liberal democracy begin? When we saw Clinton dying with laughter next to drunk Yeltsin. When the White House in Moscow turned black from shelling by tanks in 1993, many hundreds of victims were not mourned by those whose freedom they wanted to protect. When crowds of street children were sitting in a dope invoked trance sniffing glue, and young girls dreamed of becoming prostitutes.

From the tragedy of the 90s, the Russians learned several important lessons:

  • The sovereignty of a nation can be lost not only by surrendering positions to the enemy’s army, it can melt insensibly and quietly because of the betrayal of their elites;
  • Partnership with Western countries is in fact – imposed vassal relations, inevitably leading to ruin, loss of national culture, plundering of national wealth, poverty and impoverishment of the population and shameless luxury life of the comprador elite;
  • Privatization was the lesson of the most cynical and ruthless weaning of the collective wealth of the nation by a gang of liberals who were trained in shock therapy according to medicinal economic prescriptions of Milton Friedman;
  • Having lost sovereignty in key areas of the nation’s activities: military, financial, informational, educational and food security, the nation is becoming slaves, although supervisors look very presentable in banking offices and glittering transnational corporate (TNK) buildings;
  • Any attempt of disobedience is severely punished by sanctions, information pressure, isolation in the international arena and discredit or demonization of the national leader.

An analysis of Putin’s strategy to revive Russia and change its position in the international arena shows which initial positions he relied on at the beginning of the path.

    • A sovereign with absolute power does not need the constraining framework of international law, which means that it is useless to rely on institutions that support them, except for those where Russia still has veto power;
    • Moral for the sovereign becomes an extra burden (Ayn Rand and Nietzsche) So, the sovereign will stop at nothing, even the most disgusting violation of moral norms, because the lot of vassals is submission and unconditional approval;
    • Almost all former allies of the USSR no longer see Russia as an ally and are not looking for ways to cooperate, Russia is alone on the battlefield as never before;
    • The only way to salvation is to rely on the Russian people, who have already realized the tragedy of their experience of democracy and friendship with the West, and tasted the grief from the betrayal of elites;
    • It is necessary to quickly and imperceptibly restore the combat effectiveness of the army and navy, and then, relying on the national memory of the battles won, to begin preparing for the big game.

The Forerunner of the Ideological Crisis of the American Empire

Imperial designs in the USA flourished on the philosophy of Atlantism in the bold sayings of Ayn Rand, (Alice Rosenbaum), the ideological inspirer and main witch of the American establishment at the end of the twentieth century. Every year across the world more than half a million copies of her books are published, and now more than 25 million have been produced. Interest in books by Rand not only does not fade away, but is also increasing almost exponentially.

The ideas of Rand brought up the third generation of business and political elites in the West. The person in whose head the financial and economic life of the country and the whole world was formed, for many years was a member of the “Collective” of the Ayn Rand group, a consistent student and admirer. The philosophy of objectivism had a great influence on Alan Greenspan. Greenspan recalls: “She made me believe that capitalism is not only an effective and practical system, but also a highly moral one.” Ayn Rand was a strong supporter of the superiority of the free market over any form of collectivism and socialism. She tried to prove the morality of liberal capitalism, considering the free market a necessary evil, which is best suited for imperfect human nature.

The Russians did not find anything moral in liberal capitalism, not only because the early years of shock therapy terrified them with absolute cruelty and injustice, but because they remembered other relationships and other values. The Russians had a powerful immune defense against greed, venality, hypocrisy, they didn’t have anything cynical in their soul to see others better or worse than themselves. The society of equality and fraternity left an indelible mark on the nation’s memory.

In 1964, just two years after the Caribbean crisis, Ayn Rand gave an interview to Playboy magazine.

Playboy: You said that today any free nation has the moral right, if not the obligation, to attack Soviet Russia, Cuba or any other slave pen. This is true?

Ayn Rand: Absolutely. A totalitarian state that violates the rights of its citizens is outside the law and does not dare to assert its own rights.

How clearly linked are ideological twins Ayn Rand and Zbigniew Brzezinski with this striking metaphor “the slave pen for livestock”! And how long could one expect that the slaves would want to remain in the pen without any desire to try the fortress of the fences. Nowadays even poor people of Haiti rebel and pray Putin to come to the rescue and free them. They wish to become a colony of Russia, knowing from history that true Russians never treated other peoples like cattle.

The semantic sequence of the “slave pen for livestock” metaphor of Ayn Rand and the thesis about preserving the obedience of the barbarians by Brzezinski are illuminating. If we are talking about a country with a legitimately elected government such as Russia, Libya, or Syria that practices imperfect democracy according to opinions of “free” nations, the “slave pen for livestock” should be attacked. And then you can follow the rules of Brzezinski and “maintain submission of subordinates” by all means and forever!

How was it possible with such an ugly mask of hypocrisy to count on the preservation of the “soft power” of the United States in a rapidly changing world? In a world where official media still aspire to control narratives, but no longer dominate minds? The Internet and social networks have changed the world not in favor of deceitful media, and those who are used to controlling the masses as slave cattle in the pen have lost.

Deep State and Deep People

Comparing the combat positions of two global players in the arena of fighting without rules, we note the following. The United States is governed by a deep state, and its intentions are perfectly transparent. It is committed to preserving itself and its power forever.  Moreover, the power is on a global scale, since the smaller scale does not correspond to the tentacles of this octopus that have grown to ensure its “interests” and its appetites. But the resources of power – the reality is rather sad. Satellites are rapidly questioning their loyalty, and this is observed on all continents, but it would be especially sad for Brzezinski to see now – Eurasia is almost completely out of control, and there are incredibly large-scale integration processes and projects to which the hegemon is not invited.  Even the most devoted satellites begin to look around in alarm in the hope of orienting themselves in the fog of changes and cling to a more reliable shoulder. The geopolitical void, which was to be filled on the bones of Russia, at the expense of Russia and against Russia, is uncontrollably filled with other players who do not obey the world superpower.

Moreover, not only Russia and China are re-building spaces of attraction, but Europe has turned out to be intellectually prepared for the imminent retreat of the world superpower.  The French “New Right School” is focused on the power of the Eurasian continent (based on a “common history” and “common destiny”) and rejection of Atlantism and Mondialism. “The Call of the Ancestors” is the sociocultural archetype that underlies the geopolitical scenario. The expected threat to the “common fate” of the Eurasian continent in the event of a possible geopolitical alliance of the USA and China has literally before our eyes turned into another destroyed hegemonic hope. At the same time, in different geopolitical scenarios (J.Tiiar, C.Terracino, J.Parvulesco) Russia is assigned the noble role of the savior of Europe, the entire Eurasian continent, from the Atlantis’s claims. Observing the collapse of the European Union, it remains the hope that European integrators have the wisdom to turn their faces to possibilities of co-development with the projects of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) and the Belt Road Initiative (BRI),

The deep state turned out to be ideologically and geopolitically bankrupt, which is not surprising when you consider that neo-conservatives have reduced all the intellectual power of geopolitics to squalid and inhumane pragmatics, justifying strategic plans for military operations or the economic expansion of American corporations and the desires of Israel. After feeding a whole generation of Americans with myths about an exceptional nation, about the end of history and the mission of democratizing the whole world, the neoconservative narrative adopted as state gospel turned out to be morally bankrupt. The one who promised to pull the octopus of the deep-seated state out of the mire of political life came to power, but now the nation does not know for sure who and with what purpose brought him to the White House. But, the Russians, as has already been proved, had nothing to do with it.

Are we seeing a crisis of power in modern Russia today? Undoubtedly Russians quickly tired of empty promises by the liberal government of Medvedev, but if you look at the mood of people today, the degree of self-confidence grows stronger. Vladislav Surkov proposed a new formula for the designation of that internal organic constant that in the Russians lasts from century to century, which neither reforms, revolution, nor war can break or change. Deep people in Russia say this about themselves: “I have in my genes recorded, a good invader doesn’t exist.”  Therefore, in the terrible hour of war, all Russian – old, young, children, and women come out to fight the enemy.

The deep nation, through the grief of every Russian family remembers forever how much Western civilizers brought to each beneficiary and at what cost to the Russians. Of all earthly blessings, Russians most of all appreciate the opportunity to live their own way on their own land. You can rely on these people in the hour of trials, these people can be inspired by a great dream.

Are there any deep-seated people in America? There were in past times, before turning America into a world superpower. But for 30 years now, the middle and working class has practically disappeared as factories left the country for the sake of transnational corporate profits.  The information and digital economy of office teams will never be a deep-seated people because of Darwinian laws of survival, intellectuals have always been single seekers of truth, students are now crushed by the clutches of education loans. The media, which could play a key role in uniting the nation around a great and noble goal, are engaged in witch-hunt and the corruption of all who can still be corrupted.

Russia Does not Interfere in the Elections, it Interferes into the Brain!

Read the report of the Carnegie Institute, once a serious “think tank,” and see the paranormal reality:

“Russia’s growing global activity is a serious problem for the international order led by the United States and for the key pillars that support it. Moscow’s main priorities are the weakening of Euro-Atlantic security institutions, political and economic institutions, as well as the undermining of European unity and global US influence. Russia’s attempt to influence the elections in the United States probably should have discredited and undermined public confidence in the US political system and the electoral process, as well as undermined the country’s image on a global scale. The state of US policy has benefited the Kremlin, and administration delays in developing new US policy in various regions create a vacuum of retreating western power, which Russia, China or other states can use to their advantage.”

It is necessary to understand that the vacuum of the retreating western power is indeed Russia, China, and Iran which are filling the void not with bombs and weapons, not with aggression or overthrowing foreign governments, but in a more attractive way signaling a future that differs from the scorched desert offered by the West and the smoking ruins of cities.

Vladislav Surkov did not miss the chance to mock western elites:

“Foreign politicians ascribe to Russia interference in elections and referendums across the globe. In fact, the matter is even more serious – Russia interferes in their brains, and they do not know what to do with their own altered consciousness.”

Here it is necessary to clarify that consciousness has changed among the peoples but has remained the same with politicians. For example, in order to change the consciousness of the Greek people, there was no need for the intervention of Moscow, it was enough to strangle Greece in the IMF’s debt embraces and EU regulations, to take ports and a merchant fleet for debt. To change the consciousness of the French, it was enough to flood the cozy streets of French cities with thousands of refugees who do not carry a drop of mercy in their hearts to those who destroyed their homes and countries. Note that among the 25 points of the requirements put forward by the “yellow vests” to the Macron government, there are two critically important ones – the withdrawal of France from NATO, and the rejection of aggression against other countries. The struggle of the “yellow vests” has been going on for the third month, and the brutal methods of suppression only warm up the mood of the protestors.

The Gathering Fog of War

There is a need to consider a new global security architecture, in which the unfit blocks of American centrism, Eurocentrism, expansion and dictatorship of exceptional nations will be removed. The world needs more than ever justice as the basis of relations between states, authorities and people, employer and employee. How to introduce this foundation into the world, tired of conflicts and wars, can be solved only in the process of dialogue. Panic moods manifest themselves among analysts in connection with their sense of the loss of their vision of the future due to the thickening fog of war.

Andrew Monogan, director of research for Russia, defense and security of Northern Europe at Pembroke College, Oxford University (United Kingdom), which studies the nature of war changes, proposed a new concept – “war of perception” where the field of perception is also a battlefield where the state itself must impose such perception”, – Monaghan believes, adding that “we are moving from war, as war of the armies, to the war of all societies.”

Having quite correctly defined the new type of war, Monaghan again makes a typical mistake for the Atlantis’s, arguing that the state should impose such a perception. It is time to realize the experience of the fatal mistake when the USA imposed its perception on the world as the superpower, but in return received hatred and rejection.

Russia does not impose self-perception on anyone; it has a lot to do in the coming years – to give birth to many children, build houses for their families, develop vast spaces, piercing them with arteries of new highways and sea routes, give again a hope for a better future to the peoples of the world. Russia does not love war and never loved it, but “the armored train is always on the siding”. Back in 2012, the “long-term prospect of creating weapons based on rediscovery of physical principles: optical, geophysical, wave, genetic and psychophysical” designated by Putin was already embodied in certain types of weapons tested and deployed for the defense of Russia. The younger generation of Russian scientists and engineers surpasses all previous generations in intellectual power.

In the arena of fighting without rules, Russians really have a huge advantage, they won in any conditions, following the rules of the nobility of the Warrior’s Spirit, but we also have invaluable experience of surviving in the taiga, where only alien idiots may think that there are no rules. So, considering Russia today as defined by Putin, it is clear the 2007 declaration in Munich was prophetic and only western doubters persist in avoiding its wisdom.

  1. For western think tanks it is difficult to understand, that the idea of truth and justice which is spread by Russia interferes easily even into the washed brain of a small Western observer.
    In Russia is very popular scene from the film “Brother 2”: “You think that the real power is in Money? No, the real power is in truth!” (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7LBi0xQH5Og)
    Thanks to the author for a serious analysis of the roots of the present situation between Russia and the West.

  2. Trump, Kushner, Bolton and the neoconservative cretins pushing the fake narrative about Russia are trying to claw back the days when their manufactured reality propelled the US into its present forever empire. Dr. Galiullina clearly traces the roots of the reality distortion field broadcast 24/7 throughout America. Over time the level of cognitive dissonance spreading among citizens has risen because VT among the few new media vehicles provides a platform for voices countering fake news and deliberate disinformation. Actually, over the deep past rulers have used the twin towers of government and religion to effect control over people. In the middle ages royal houses were blessed by religious officials who enjoyed favorable tax status. In turn sacred art produced media designed to please the senses and convey messages to largely illiterate consumers. This worked fine until the advent of means of mass communication when it became apparent media of all sorts could be engineered. Suddenly, the stakes were raised as advertising found new patrons seeking better tools for population control. Now human consciousness is losing its traditional meaning and no longer can we rely on sense organs alone to capture input or evaluate the meaning of our experiences. It should come as no surprise that government has been up to an agenda of mind control because Karl Rove boldly admitted to creating reality as the neocons saw fit, and while the intellectuals were busy analyzing it, he and his buddies would create an entirely new reality. How much of this programming is consciously understood by Americans is questionable although the fact that nearly one-third of the voting polity demurred in the last Presidential election. And, two thirds of Americans had to split hairs between a witch and reality TV star. When R.D. Laing coined the term “The Politics of Experience” to explain the most extreme form of cognitive dissonance perhaps he would revisit the boundaries of its application when witnessing the current geopolitical circus.

  3. The answer as perceived by Russia’s Putin can only be found in ‘truth and morals’. Sans a free press in the West only lengthens the time it will take the people’s of this world to wake up. But wake up we will. Putin supports the Russian Orthodox religion, in a secular society, as the only state religion. It was a very smart move by him. He moves his people towards the moral center, where all things are possible.”
    America is also a Christian nation, but with an errant interpretation of our Constitution, has declared an hands off all religions (except Judaism ) position, which is very harmful, maybe fatal. Imagine if President Trump went on national TV and declared Christianity the state religion. Maybe this is what is needed to right our listing ship.

  4. Just think of the cost to Russia, in very hard and difficult times of reconstruction, to come to the aid of a neighbor and friend: Syria. Russia could have looked the other way and permitted the international criminal parasites Israel and the U.S. and even Turkey to carve it up. It could still happen but is less likely today than 5 years ago. But now the bond between Syria and Russia is forever. Russia must never permit Syria to be carved up by the despicable cowards and criminal invaders of Israel and the U.S. no matter what. Vladimir Putin turned out to be a giant of a Russian Leader. A friend in need is a friend indeed. Let us his successor is as good or better. The real obscenity in the U.S. is the Congress full of cowards and whores for Israel.
