Trump, Two Years Late, Says Middle East Wars Wrong, “Worst Decision Ever”

From Trump even the truth becomes a lie...

President Donald Trump, who twice bombed Syria and pushes for war with Iran daily, who bombs Yemen daily, has denounced America’s decades of war in the Middle East – Iraq in particular – as one big mistake based on a ruse, saying openly once again that Saddam had no WMDS at the time of the invasion.

Trump once again took to Twitter to revive the anti-war rhetoric of his 2016 election campaign, in another attempt to defend his recent decision to withdraw troops from northeastern Syria. The move sparked an uproar among Trump’s critics, who have accused him of betraying the US-backed Kurdish militia in the area which is now about to face a Turkish offensive.

While yet again reminding his followers that Washington has wasted $8 trillion on wars in the Middle East, this time Trump’s laments went beyond the foolishly spent “trillions” of dollars.

“We went to war under a false & now disproven premise, weapons of mass destruction. There were none!” Trump tweeted. This revelation is hardly surprising at this point, but what is surprising is to hear it put so bluntly from the president himself.

Former President George W. Bush, the man who dragged America into this quagmire in the first place, blamed it on faulty intelligence, while also regretting not finding the weapons of mass destruction. His successor Barack Obama, who used to portray himself as an opponent of the war in Iraq, never directly questioned the reasons for the invasion.

  1. All Trumps statement shows is that the US gov knew all along the truth of the situation as well as the true numbers of victims of our illegal war on the ME, regardless the blatant gov lies. All the BS formerly released was of course tailored for the US idiot voter. Even as Trump ‘reveals’ that it was a fraud, still he does not express the true reasons for these invasions. The end goal is, of course, the Russian Federation and their untapped resources. One look at the ‘operation’ over the last 19 years reveals this as a long term pincers movement aimed at completing the surrounding of Russia. Syria and Iran are part of the plan, as they represent Russian military extension and an actual physical entrance to Russia proper. Trump, as the ultimate Zionist puppet, is positioning himself as he did 2016…the true US patriot, speaking truth to power. However, the truth is far from anything this liar may utter.

  2. I think he just poured a bucket of cold water over the impeachers. The threat of withdrawing the military from the Middle-east has the very people that want to impeach him trembling in apoplectic shock. Their Zio masters are about to panic. The neo-liberals have pretended to support peace but we see now they are tools of the war hawk Zios.

  3. Now that the president has clearly denied the existence of WMD in Iraq, when will he order war crimes trials?
