Yesterday it was Jerry Falwell junior who invited 1,600 students back to fake Liberty University and within hours, 800 were heading home as they could not stand the sounds of the coughing and choking.

God betrayed Falwell, whose father rules Hell at the left hand of Satan. Now it is the “queer hating” Hobby Lobby guy, David Green, you know another Trump buddy, who says COVID-19 is fake. He told GOP governor DeWine to shove it and reopened his stores. He changed his mind at the sound of sirens and paddocks. We begin:

Hobby Lobby stores opened today in Ohio, defying Ohio Governor Mike DeWine’s stay-at-home order. This did not go well for the controversial owner of Hobby Lobby, David Green.  The Ohio Attorney General issued a cease and desist order which ordered the store to close down.  Legal staff for Hobby Lobby said stores would be immediately closed.

Let’s take a look at who David Green is. He is someone who for years has used his religious beliefs to make political and business decisions.  This week, he told customers that he is not worried about the pandemic because “God is in control.” He opened the doors to his stores and invited the masses in to take a chance on contracting COVID-19 and possibly dying.

Is profit that important to him?

As he invites people into his stores he is laying off workers, with letters that say, “God is in control.”  giving these workers, who have been loyal to Hobby Lobby for years, no alternative means of feeding their families. Please tell me that he is not a human being.  I am ashamed to think someone so crass could be considered a homo sapien. Please say it isn’t so!… Carol

Is Hobby Lobby an essential retailer?

Some forced to close because of COVID-19 shelter-in-place orders

by Kelly Tyko, USA Today

Hobby Lobby is reportedly keeping some of its stores open in defiance of state shelter-in-place orders while some locations are being forced to close, according to media reports.

As businesses across the nation grapple with differences in how states define “essential” businesses or retailers, Hobby Lobby and its competitors Michaels and JOANN have kept many locations open with limited hours.

But some Hobby Lobby locations in Ohio, Indiana, Wisconsin and Colorado were shut down by law enforcement after reopening, defying the orders.

Hobby Lobby did not respond to USA TODAY’s response for comment.

Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost tweeted Wednesday that he sent Hobby Lobby a cease-and-desist letter.

“Hobby Lobby properly closed its stores during Ohio’s stay-home order. Now they’re open again – what’s changed?” Yost wrote. “Neither the order nor the seriousness of the health threat, for sure.”

  1. I have been thinking we should introduce “Human” to the classification chart showing it to be a higher form of life than “homo sapien” .
