…from the Virginia Flaggers

[ Editor’s Note: The Virginia Flaggers have been one of the main defenders against the anti-Confederate history jihad. We have chaos theory in full bloom now, via an open gang war of culture destruction jumping aboard the Black Lives Matter bandwagon.

Black Lives Matter needs to be morphed into a new All Lives Matter, including the business livelihoods that are being lynched by the looters taking advantage of the protests to have their usual fun. Please don’t tell me they are expressing their political interests, unless you are going to give crooked cops the same free pass.

Culture lynching (yes, why did I have to invent the term, and in 2020 no less?) starts with the attacks on monuments. Their success in doing that has increased the rioters’ appetite to where future demands will always be put on the table with the statement of “do what we want or we will wreck the town, regardless of the pandemic and recession under way.” They threw away getting any victim tears out of me.

Taking these monuments down is not going to make anybody in the community better off financially, create new jobs, or reflect well on a city as a friendly tourist destination.

The police made a huge mistake in this Portsmouth fiasco. They appear to have stood down to rioters in the tourism section of town, tearing down historic monuments as a diversion for them hitting the business community.

This will come back to haunt these cities, as they let the cops stand down so the history censors could have their looting party. Some day when there are no more monuments to destroy and only the community to burn, their turn will come, and they will not be completely innocent… Jim W. Dean ]

Have historic haters become a protected class in America? Jefferson Davis gets lynched

– First published … June 12, 2020

In the second week of violent riots and protests in cities across the Commonwealth, many of us watched by live feed as police in Portsmouth stood back and let vandals there spend hours desecrating the beautiful memorial there and tearing it down right in front of them.

Just hours after protesters covered Portsmouth’s Confederate monument in spray paint — and two NAACP leaders were charged with trespassing — City Council held an emergency meeting to make another move toward relocating the controversial statue.

While protesters were still gathered around the 54-foot-tall statue, council scheduled a public hearing on the relocation of the monument for July 28.

Under a state law that goes into effect on July 1, altering or relocating public monuments in the state of Virginia can occur. Following a public hearing—which the City Attorney said couldn’t happen for at least 30 days to account for public notice — the city then has to wait another 30 days to offer the monument up to a museum or other group before moving it themselves. Under this timeline, Portsmouth’s monument may not move until at least September.

The demonstration evolved into vandalism with paint and deconstruction of all four soldier statues on the monument. All were decapitated. Before the heads were taken off the monuments, rioters broke off the swords and rifles attached to the statues

The rioting evolved into a party-like scene with a brass band playing as the monument’s deconstruction continued, but that joyous atmosphere came to an end after one of the soldier statues toppled over and severely injured a man.

Late into the night, as the terrorists continued to tear the monument apart, the monument decided to fight back. I swear we heard a rebel yell when the vandals yanked at the soldier, who toppled forward and crushed one of the rioters.

The blow to his head was life threatening and it was this that finally brought the police in to disperse the crowd and set up barriers around the monument

Mayor Rowe said yesterday he believes the Portsmouth PD made the right call to not step in and enforce vandalism charges. He called it just “a piece of rock”.

Meanwhile in Richmond, lawlessness continues as rioters are allowed the freedom to block streets, vandalize businesses, homes, and property, and residents are terrified. Tuesday night, a mob tore down the Christopher Columbus stature in Byrd Park and dumped it in the lake.

Last night, terrorists ripped the Jefferson Davis statue on Monument Avenue from its pedestal, dragging it through the street and destroying the head of the bronze statue. Although we and others had alerted authorities for days that the monument was the next target, there was NO police present until after the destruction was complete.

We remain under siege and in a lawless environment. Our monument guards have been active, doing what they can to watch and report, but without any police presence or assistance, and with the Mayor of Richmond and Governor of Virginia applauding and encouraging the terrorists, nothing short of a military presence would help us on the ground at this point.

In the meantime, we are assisting others in areas that have been targeted outside of the democratically controlled cities. We CAN defend these monuments and we CAN push back against the attempts there.

We also will continue to support any and all legal efforts to stop these removals and find ways to use civil penalties to punish those who disobey the law since the city or state won’t prosecute.

It may seem like desperate times for us, and I admit it is difficult at times to stay positive and keep our cool, but we MUST remember who we are and who we represent.

There are some positives to report. BATTLE FLAGS have been flying off our shelves this week. We have sold more in the past few days than in all of last year combined. While some people may be tucking tail and running, it looks like there are thousands more who are finally ready to take a stand.

These monument removals and desecration will no doubt continue, and sometimes will happen despite all of our best efforts and attempts to prevent it. We started the roadside memorial battle flag installations because we believe private memorials on private property is where we need to be focusing our attention and we believe this to be true now more than ever.

We have one project that will begin construction soon, and are actively looking for prime locations, especially near places like Richmond and Portsmouth, for new flag installations.

While we will fight any and every removal with everything we have, we do not believe our ancestors would have us sitting around waiting for someone’s permission to do what is ultimately OUR responsibility…to honor our ancestors how we see fit, and that means private memorials on private property.

We are gearing up for new flags and flag sites and new monuments and markers. Thank you for your continued support and please stay tuned for more information.

  1. Agree 100%. This BLM is just a project, live Occupy WS, MeToo, etcetera. Today one of my pals from Africa invited me into the Blm group in FB. I rejected it and said that for Russians All lives matter and i will never take one side. We have over 160 nationalities living in Russian Federation and all their lives matter. And i refuse that strange hollywood brand BLM, which is used by different purposes by different people. I have normal attitude to African people (they are exotic in my country), but i will never kneel down in front of anyone. Standing on knees in my country is pure humiliation.

  2. “We have many monuments which do not represent positive events, and we need those as well, to remind us of the wrongs committed in the world”. Amen on all this, but it takes some brain power to figure this out and those who got D’s and C’s in history can’t fathom. Thanks Justan

  3. The destruction of monuments, cultural heritages, movies like “Gone with the Wind”, school history cursus (done already) are all part of social identity destruction for the benefit of One NWO ! This, I bet a grand, is all written in “The Protocols of Elders of Sion”…

  4. I am very sad and angry about the current obscurantism in the West, the fight against monuments. There is no valor or honor in this. Why make this movie-planet of the apes? All history up to the ancient one is mixed up in blood, injustice, violence. Let’s throw out the Egyptian mummies, smash the antique statues, break everything! Listen, we went through this in Russia when, after the revolution, mobs of mad Bolsheviks blew up churches and broke statues. Why are you following in our footsteps? This is the madness of the marginals, a stupid rage, a shameful phenomenon. The same thing happened recently in Ukraine. I have long said that a sick tolerance will one day kill the West. Lawyers, courts, manic craving to sue in the United States for the slightest reason – all this is insanity. There is no absolute freedom. This is already turning into anarchy. Celebration of the mad crowd. Monuments are history. The history of how you can. The history for the edification of how not to. Monuments can no longer fight back..

    • So right you are! We have Marxist antifa whose main leaders are J**’S, and self hating whites who follow and the rest are people of color. But yes, pretty much like the Bolsheviks of old.

  5. What it all boils down to is this, if things keep heading down this same path, it will result in a war between white people and the Communist, mostly white antifa and the hoards of people of color, who deep down, mostly hate white people. Or, in a softer tone, the Marxist Democrats against the people.

  6. The US has had a red terror since 2001, it just lacks the revolution it so sorely needs. Black Lives Matter isn’t a scam. What next? Will you be blaming George Soros and the non-existent DVD for America’s ills? The brutal truth is that no-one apart from the US and it’s traitors who have sold out to international Zionist criminals is to blame; America isn’t being murdered, it is committing suicide.

  7. It’s rather sad that you condemn Black Lives Matter but the picture that you show of people stomping on and surrounding this statue are all White. I think I can only make out one Black person in the photo. I guess Black Lives Matter contracted it out.

    • David, The answer is simple. These white folks support the movement. But for these women in particular, they would get upset if I asked them did they support the black on white rape rate was which was 50 to 1 last time I saw the number published by a group that was quickly branded a white supremacist group, but the figures were purely government collected crime statistics. BTW, the ‘published statistics’ were ‘government published. They were never published in regular media that we ever found, which some might consider censorship. I mentioned it to an Atlanta Constitution reporter once and without batting an eye he said, “we could never publish anything like that.” Welcome to the real world.

  8. In American civil war slavery was NOT made illegal in the northern states, BUT was made illegal by decree of federal government ONLY in the southern states!
This pretty much an act of war.
Slaves not considered people but property in the north as well as south.
Revolutionary war started on the day Britain declared slavery to be illegal in the US colonies!

    • Insurgents fired on Old Glory at Fort Sumter. American patriots reacted the same way their descendants would to Pearl Harbor and 9/11.

The Thirteenth Amendment abolished slavery nationwide. It was ratified into law eight months after the Civil War ended.

Britain abolished slavery at home and throughout its colonial empire in 1834, half a century after the American colonies gained their independence.

    • Amen on that Konehead, for years after the war their existed something called the “Black Laws” in the north (name from memory). One them was it was illegal for blacks to join in a group more then 5 or 6 in public. Only Americans with a masters in American history will know this, something just airbrushed out of history. When I was doing my early public tv work an Atlanta, ‘inconvenient truths’ like this were presented in my opening commentaries, something I borrowed from the old time news casters. I never had a single challenged on any of it. And I used to taunt a segment of the local community that they were welcome to come on the show to debate, but their position had to be backed by historical records, not “this is how I think about it”. Even Henry Louis Gates apologized when leaving the SCV National convention once, regarding his previous claim that blacks in the Confederate army was a hoax, saying, “I’m sorry fellas, I was lied to.” This gem did not make it into the “Looking for Lincoln” documentary.
