Today my guest host was “J. Mike” Springmann rather than “E. Mike” Jones. Both “Mikes” are always ready with the level of succinct, barbed commentary that befits the times we live in.

Among the hotly-debated questions raised in this week’s episode:

*Is Wal-Mart justified in posting blackshirts at the door to enforce CoronaMask compliance, or should they have used brownshirts instead? (Personally I prefer Italian to German fascism—I always had a weak spot for Ezra Pound, pizza, and great Italian architecture—but “J. Mike” says brownshirts would have been more appropriate.)

*Should Americans be forced to worship a Satanic pentagram flag from September 11 to September 30 every year?

*If coronavirus antibodies only last for a few weeks, meaning that neither a vaccine nor herd immunity will save us, just how screwed are we—and can we sue the germ warfare freaks who did this to us?

*Does the California ban on in-home church services mean Muslim families can’t pray salat together in their living room?

*If black TV performers get fired for even mentioning the name of the most popular and most important leader in the African-American community, Louis Farrakhan, isn’t that…racist?

*How many more explosions will Bibi have to set off in Iran before the Iranians lose patience and blow Dimona to kingdom come?

*And is Bibi planning to blow up the al-Aqsa Mosque and set off the final religious war?

*Do white professors really live in fear?

*Has defrocked professor Barrett turned into a white nationalist, or is he just trolling them?

*Is Ivanka right that the economy is so f***ed that we are all going to have to find something new to do…or to eat?

*Hey Ivanka—does “finding something new to do” include robbing banks because you didn’t get your corona stimulus check?

  1. Dr Barrett, my husband and I both got CV19 in January, long before tests were avail. We finally got antibodies tests in May, and had antibodies levels just a hair below the amount needed to be able to donate plasma. So I’ve kept up with the antibodies literature on this. The article you cited is correct in that the amt. of antibodies fades, BUT wrong in that they fail to say that other protective factors remain, which partially protect against other strains of CV19. I think the real question isn’t whether people can get infected again, but whether the 2nd infection amounts to anything important. In other words, is it weak enough? If it is, then “herd immunity” is still a possibility. 2nd infections need to be studied more, but I think successive infections would be much weaker.
