Scholarship Opportunities in Cyprus for International Students

Cyprus is a beautiful and hospitable island, and it welcomes all international students who want to study there. Usually, students consider only the top European countries for their studies, such as Germany, France, or Denmark. However, Cyprus can offer international students much more, or at least no less, plus other unique benefits.

Even though Cyprus is slightly far from the European mainland, it is a fellow member of the European Union, which means that all higher education institutions follow the Bologna process. Also, many of its colleges and universities are based on the American education system, which lets students pick their own academic load and vary their course. Moreover, Cyprus invests in education 7% of its gross income – only two other European countries, Denmark and Sweden, can boast of spending more. On top of that, there are several international schools that offer dual degree programs that are fully accredited by the UK and USA partner universities.

Universities and Scholarships

Enrollment requirements in Cyprus are similar to those in the USA and are no different from those of other European schools. You need to prepare your secondary education completion certificate and pass TOEFL or IELTS to confirm your English proficiency level. You will also need to write a personal statement (admission essay/motivation letter), so it makes sense to find a reliable platform like essayservice and buy some essay samples to learn how to do it right and to make yours stand out. There are around 8000 international students in Cyprus. Are you ready to join them? Here some of the best Cypriot higher education institutions and the scholarships they offer.
