[ Editor’s Note: I don’t know now if Pompeo enjoys his own bullshit so much that he is literally addicted to it, or whether he has been getting Trump DNA shots to make him keep pushing the snap back sanctions fairy tale that the US has no legal right to do.

Trump’s EU prestige has been down the tubes for some time, but Pompeo, who has been whispered to be Trump’s heir after his second term, (no I am not kidding), is degrading his foreign policy credibility every time he mentions snap backs.

The only rational reason I can propose for his pushing the snap back is to keep the Iran bogeyman in the news during the run up to the election.

Do the Republicans really think swing voters are going to be won over by the US imposing new Iran sanctions and claiming it has the right to do so, as they are perfectly legal because he says so, when only the Dominican Republic has stood with us.

With Pompeo doing this, he is whizzing on whatever is left of the UNSC prestige which reflects poorly on the other UNSC members.

As for Trump’s reelection prospects, Pompeo is hated almost as much as he is. And Pence is politically an empty suit, possibly still waiting for his first autograph request. Even if Trump won in November and died on February 1st, we would still have an idiot with Pence, God forbid.

It’s do or die on November 3rd, and that might all hinge on Israel’s skills at vote flipping the booths, or doing their magic of altering the vote tallies being sent in, something VT looked into a great deal in 2016 …JD ]

Iran’s permanent ambassador to the United Nations says if the United States tries to use the Iran nuclear deal’s snapback mechanism to restore sanctions against the country, it will be humiliated again as the international community has already rejected Washington’s bid.

  1. If Trump continues in this direction, this amounts to harassment and bullying ! At least, Europe have now a foot to stand on and to rebuke US regime’s foreign politics.
